"Why do I need to wake up so early tomorrow again?" You asked looking up from a magazine.

"Just do it ok? Geez you ask so many damn questions"

You put your magazine down and looked up at him,"whats with the attitude for?" You'd known this asshole since high school and he'd chilled out alot since then now that he was a college student.

"Just come over tomorrow ok? And wear something nice" he muttered before leaving the kitchen.

"That man, I swear he gets on my nerves," you sighed, "he's lucky I love him so much" you hummed. You'd both decided to stay in a small,cheap apartment instead living on campus.

While you flipped through your magazine Jotaro trusted himself back into his school work.

'I can't keep doing this...' He was supposed to ask you right there and then,he'd been giving himself a pep talk for weeks now! So why was he having difficulty asking you!? He never faulted, not when his life was on the line nor when his friends were near deaths door. For the life of him he couldn't understand why asking you a simple question would be so difficult!

You'd known each other for years, dated the entirety of high-school and up to his senior year of college. There was literally no reason for you to say no,we'll unless you wanted to mess with him. You were good for messing and teasing him.

Once by himself he pulled out the small notepad he always kept in the inside pocket of his coat.

He had alot preparation to do before tomorrow so he'd better get a move on. The sakura viewing park would be packed by tomorrow so he needed to find a good spot before anyone else!

It didn't take long for him to the reach the city's largest park. There were already people picnicking and laying about. There were even a few dogs chasing each other! A golden lab, a poodle and a...Boston Terrier.

'I wonder if iggy is alright?' After Egypt he hadnt seen coffee stained hide nor hair of the mutt. Maybe the SWF had dropped him back onto the streets? Or maybe he decided to live with Avdol back in Egypt? 'That Dog looks familiar...' Joatro squinted as a small black ball of fur rammed head first into his leg.

"The hell?!" He was used to dogs jumping up on him but this was a wholenother level of force! It felt like a stand had- wait "Iggy?!"

The Boston terrier grinned up at him from the grass with a pair of shades in his mouth. His tail wagging a mile a minute and a shit eating grin on his muzzle.

"Give me my shades back! Oh hey Jojo, what are you doing out here?" You asked after catching your breath. You'd left the apartment about 10 minutes after Jotaro so you weren't expecting to see him here of all places.

"___,I thought you were at home?" He tugged your shades out of Iggys mouth and wiped them clean, thankfully the dog hadn't gotten into any gum before stealing them.

"Thanks, Yeah I got board, lucky this dog ran straight to you huh? These are my good shades too!" You sat them ontop of your head, the sun had been blocked out by the clouds.

"Hm" he grunted, the hell was iggy doing here? Unless the dog glided across the ocean there was quite literally no possible way for him to be here! "Unless..." he thought about it for a moment.

"Unless what? Whos a good boy? Yeah! You're such a good boy even though you stole my glass you little turd!" You asked, scratching the small dogs belly.

"Nothing,let's go"

"Aww, Bye puppy! Your lucky I didn't accidently drop kick you when you stole my glasses" you scratched under his chin one more time before running to catch up with you Jolly Green giant of a boyfriend.

He chuckled,"Dont drop kick Iggy"

"Aw you know him? Come here iggy! Awww that's a good boy!" Iggy immediately ran to catch up and leaped into your arm,"Awwww! What a good boy!!! Jotaro why didn't you tell me you knew such a sweet heart!?" He settled himself into your arms comfortably,looks like he wouldn't be walking any time soon.

"It never...crossed my mind"

"Well it should have! Look at how cute he is! ....what's with that face?"

"What face?" He had usually blank look on his face,he had no idea what you were talking about.

"Do you have beef with,what was his name? Iggy? Or something? Did he bite your ankle when you were kid?"

"I told you-"

" 'I tOLd yOu' " you mimiced,"you get that crease on your forhead and the small scar near your ear started twitching,so spill!"

"Did my mom tell you that about me?" He groaned,he really did wish his mom would stop blathering his business to everyone.

"Nope,I found out myself!"

You knew him too damn well!

But even with that thought in mind he still couldn't keep that smile off his face,"He's my...grandfather's old work dog...kind of" that wasn't a complete lie.

"Mmhm I'll let that part slide," you came to a stop near a small,man made water fall that was no bigger than the size of a plastic play house,"Oh Jotaro this is a pretty spot!" There was even a bench and a cluster of trees to protect against the sun.

"Mhm" it was starting to get late,"lets head back"

"Already? I guess it is starting to get dark," you placed the small dog down,"Bye iggy, be a good boy ok? Hey! Atleast tell me when your walking off!" You yelled, he was waiting for you at the entrance,"the least you could do is wait you know? No don't look at me like that!"

He had that stupid cute half smile half smirk on his face again as he opened the door,"lets go home, I think my grandfather might have paied us a surprise visit"

"Granpa Jospeh?! Oh I love him! Why didn't you tell me he'd came by for a visit?!" The old man always had such amazing and interesting stories to tell! It was a shame he was losing his hearing.

"Im coming I'm coming"

"Come!" You tugged on his hand,"On!" You didn't want the old man to be asleep when you got back to Holly's place!

"Wait for the damn cross sign,___"

"Then move it! Put those long legs to good use for once!" You got behind him and started to push him, you couldn't see it but he was trying very hard to keep a smile off his face.

"Alright, fine"

"Yay!" You took his hand and tugged him along again,this time he kept up a steady pace.

When you finally reached his old home Holly was outside checking the mail.

"Oh Jotaro,____! Welcome back, you won't believe who came by for a surpised visit!" Holly pulled you into a tight hug.

"We already know"

Kicking your shoes off outside, you peeked your head into the doorway.

"Roufh!" A bark?

"Jotaro...oh my gosh- look!" You pointed to a recliner, in it was Jospeh,knocked out sleep with iggy sitting content in the old man's lap,"I need a picture" you dug around for your phone. While you did that Jotaro snuck off to the kitchen where Holly was pulling out spices and bread,"You don't have to do this you know" he mentioned,washing his hands.

"Jotaro,your my son, why wouldn't I want to help you? Besides,___ Kujo would be a perfect last name"

"Yeah..." he turned on the stove while you gently poked Jospeh face to wake the old man up.

"Gandpa! Hey, come on you'll get a crick in your neck if you sleep like that!" You lifted iggy up,"attack him iggy" the dog mearly sneezed on the man's face and farted,"eww" you sat the dog down.

"Iggy...you little turd this is the last time I bring you with me" jospeh grumbled and rubbed his eyes,"___? Is that you?"

"Hi pawpaw!" You kissed his forhead.

"Come now I ain't that old! Where's that grandson of mine?"

"In the kitchen cooking"

"Mmm is he now...I could go for some of that squid ink pasta right about now, did I ever tell you about how my friend,Ceaser threatened to hang me if it didn't shut up about it?" He laughed at the memory.

"Ceaser? You friend from Rome? You never finished that one story over the phone, about the pillarmen? I believe?" You sat next to his legs on the floor, lying on your side and plying with the small dog.

"Ohh yes, those blasted vampires, I left off on Wammu right?"

"It was Esidsi" you corrected.

"Right, it was in the middle of the night! And I saw my mentor,loggins, dead with his lungs missing, they are extreamly vital to any hamon user" he explained, as the story dragged on Jospeh eventually grew sleepy and dozed off with you not so far behind.

"___, come on"

"Hm?" You yawned, was Jotaro finally done with the kitchen? He smelled like food.

"Get up,you'll mess up your back"

"If you love me,you'll carry me" you yawned again.

A sigh,"troublesome"

You smiled sleepily at him as carried you back to his old room,"Its like being in a giant blanket" nice and warm. It felt like nothing could harm you. When he place you down you kicked your socks and pants off lifted the blanket for him to come join you,"come on, its cold without you~"

"Demanding" He shucked his shoes off and jacket,"Damn your feet are cold!"

"Yeah I know, so hold still" you tripped his leg between your own,slowly stealing his heat.

"Thief"

"Mhmhm" you gave a sleepy half hearted snicker and purposeful put your cold hand on his stomch.

"Little shit-" You'd always do that when he least expected it. Rolling on his side he made sure to grab and tuck your arms  underneath your chest then trapped you by tossing his arm over you.

"Jotaro!"

"Mhm"

"Dont squeeze me so hard! I'll toot"

"You fart on my sheets and I'll let iggy fart in your face,now go to sleep"

"Grouch" but he did indeed relaxe as sleep took both of you away.

It wasn't until you felt a wuff of hot breath in your face that you finally woke up.

"Iggy?" The dog somehow managed to get inside Jotaros room,"Ugh your breath smells awful" the dog mearly lifted his leg up and let out a fart right near Jotaros face.

"Nasty little bastard!" Now half awake Jotaro grab iggy by the face and tossed him out of his room,"Annoying mutt, why didn't you move him?" Now he needed to shower and wash his face.

"Sorry,I just woke up, do you want some eggs or no?"

"...yeah"

"Ok" stretching, you shuffled into the kitchen where Holly was already chopping fruit.

"Good morning"

"Good morning Holly, Iggy let one rip in Jojos face this morning,is he always so gasy?"

Holly laughed,"He can been a bit of a pain but it's totally normal...I think"

Mom, did you move the basket?" Jotaro asked, towel resting on his neck.

"Its in the refrigerator,jojo, don't worry I know how important this is to you"

Jotaro made a face.

"Important?" You asked.

"Nothing...just go on something nice so we can go"

Oh that's right! He did say something about waking up early.

"Already? But it's going to be bright outside,can't we wait till later when more clouds are out?"

"Get dressed" he swatted your calf to shoo you out.

"Fine!"  It was going to be a hot day, maybe now you could finally wear that summer dress Holly convinced you to let her buy for you.

Now alone Jotaro dug and pulled out a large basket.

"Nervous?" Holly asked.

"No..."

"Well, I'm sure she'll say yes, I can tell she loves you alot" the older woman kissed her son on the cheek and handed him his own folded cloths for the day.

"..thanks"

"Anytime jojo" she patted his arm as he too got ready for a very important day.

By the time you were done,Jotaro was already waiting by the front door.

"Bye iggy, Bye Holly!" You scratched under the dogs chin one last time.

"Bye you two!" She waved as you closed the screen door behind you.

"So jojo, where are we going?" You asked,linking your arms with him as opened the massive umbrella and carried the basket,"I can carry that you know?" It did look alot larger than most baskets but thrn again,Jotaro was a big man.

"I got it"

Eventually you crossed the street back into the park where you'd first met Iggy,"your really sweet Jotaro you know that?"

"Hm" you didn't have to look up to him to see that he was a bit flustered. Setting the basket down he pulled out a massive blanket and laied it down, it was the same spot you had pointed out yesterday.

"Did you make all this?"

"Mh, my mom helped" sitting down you proped up the large umbrella to shield your backs from he sun.

"You really are a sweetheart jojo thank you,it's really nice out here even though it feels like something out of a romance anime" you pulled out a wrapped, sandwich  and gave him half. He reached for it but you slapped his hand away," say 'ahhh' "

"Im not a baby" he sat up but eventually caved and ate it,"there happy?"

You smiled at his and slipped the metal ring around your finger,then his. The rings had been placed onto of the plastic,wrapped goods and tied together with the small,thin ribbon you had given him in high-school.

"Hey...Do you...do you want to be my forever problem?"

"As long as we can make mini forever problems"

Jotaro gave the smallest sighes of relief as he watched you play and admire the wedding ring that sat on your finger.
