There was a loud pecking at your window. You sat up,fully clothed and ready to go! Eagerly slipping into your hiking shoes and grabbing your cream colored backpack. It was around 6 pm and the sun had already set on a Friday afternoon meaning you were free to go hang out with you friend!

Prying the window you came face to beak with the giant flying and normal type,Staraptor.

"Hey Staraptor! Thanks for coming to get me!"

It squawk and tuned so you could jump on its back. You jumped from you window onto its back easily and the bird took off to its trainer. The predator pokemon flew twords the forest where you knew he was waiting for you.

Staraptor circled a small clearing and quickly started desending as snow started to fall lightly.

Standing in the clearing was Josuke higashikata,hands in his pockets he grinned up at you.

"Hi jojo!" You waved at him and jumped from Staraptor's back while he was still desending,making the poor thing squwak.

"___!" Josuke yelled,pulling his mitten covered hands out of his pockets to catch you,"oof!" The both of you landed with the thud into the very cold,snow covered ground,"you've got to stop jumping off Staraptor's back,___! Your killing mine!" He groaned.

"But I know you'll always be there to catch me!" You sat on his hips,puffed of white clouds escaping your lips. He looked so cute with flushed cheeks! The cold had increased as the night went on but you didn't mind,so only if you got to see his cuteness!

"___! Come on!" He sat you both up, "you know how Hatterene gets," you winced,that psychotic pokemon of his had nearly mauled you on several occasions. It was one of the many reasons your parents never wanted you hanging around Josuke.

"I know," standing up you used all you weight,which wasnt much,to help Josuke up. Staraptor landed next to you,grooming his hair,"thanks star~" you hugged the bird tightly as Josuke put it back in its pokéball.

"So what did you want to show me? Did Dugtrio want me to do her hair again?" The 'hair' on his alolan form dugtrio always felt weird between your fingers.

"Nah thats not what I wanted to ask you,"he looked up at stars and took a deep breath,"I really wanted to show you this...thing Blinky,Diancie and everyone else made" you couldn't tell but he was sweating buckets under his winter jacket.

"Even Hatterene?! That little devil?!"

"Hatty is not a devil! You just have to know how to handle her is all" he motioned you to follow.

"I dont believe that but how is Diancie? She hasn't been making giant crystals in the house again has she?" You asked,Josuke had came across the injured pokemon a long time ago and brought it back home. You were both in middle school when it happened but the jewel pokemon had taken a like to him and decided to stay.

"Well she likes to make them but hates it when I sell them but at the same time I can use it to get that pokefood she likes to much and order those berries from the Kalos region that she loves," he sighed,rubbing his exposed neck,"so its a bit of a win-win-semi-lose situation"

You laughed brought your hands to your face,huffing in them to warm them up,"and I'm guessing Mienshao had to break them up too?"

"Oh he loves it! I have to keep him from breaking her bigger ones! It such a hassle! Hey where are your gloves?" He noticed you rubbing your hands together.

"I left them on the kitchen table but I didn't want to be late!" He bit the end of his glove,trying to pull it off when you stopped him,"im fine Josuke! My pockets have Furfrou trimmings on the inside!

"Are you sure?"

"Yes I'm sure but I don't mind you holding it"

"Uh y-yeah! I dont mind at all!" He laced your hands together,"so that pokemusical thing starts in a few days, you think Mienshao has a chance at all?" He joked Mienshao had a very serious personality, training day in and day out he would never let Josuke dress him up! Not like Staraptor did. The giant bird LOVED attention,especially when you gave him treats like minced ratatta.

"Id loved to see him in a little top hat! Oh he'd look so cute in it! The both of you!" You gushed, above your heads gleamed illumise and volbeat's,"ohhh Josuke look!" You pointed with your linked hands,"aren't they pretty? I'm surprised to see so many here! Especially this time of year,what do you think brought then out like this?"

In the trees you could see icicles forming but some of them had abit of an amber tint to them,it almost looked like frozen honey!

"Who knows," he rubbed the back of his neck again, trying to keep it warm but he was so nervous,"hey,___ you-"

You held your right hand out to low flying Illmuise,the firefly sniffed at your finger before flying off somewhere else,"you say something? ....Josuke?" He had that tunnel vision look in his eyes again.

"Your beautiful" oh god did he really just say that!?

"H-huh?!" Your toes curled in embarrassment! "I- um- thanks? Your really handsome too!" Your heart was in your throat.

"I need to show you something very important,iv been meaning to ask for a while so close your eyes! Hatterene will guild you ok?"

"O-ok" you didn't really trust the duel type pokemon even as its soft looking tentacle wrapped around your hand. It was cold to the touch and just feeling it made your skin crawl a bit.

"I'll be back! I promise! Staraptor,stay with them for me!" He left you three alone and didn't come for another five minutes.

"Josuke said he's going to enter you into that musical,Staraptor," you scratched unde its chin,or was it beak? Either way the giant bird was enjoying all of your attention,"yeah your going to 1st place aren't you? Yes you are!" You praised, the bird cawed in agreement but the fairy and pyschic looked pissed. You immediately quieted down,in fear of making 'the forest witch' angry. You werent sure why Josuke of all people had one,they were too dangerous to be kept around but you weren't a trainer so what did you know?

"Hatterene~" the forest witch chimed at you,holding its claw out for you to take,you really didn't want to but for Josukes sake you trusted that it wouldn't lead you to a cliff and push you off.

"Uh thanks for guiding me,Hatty- ow! Ok I'm sorry! Hatterene!" She didn't like it when others called her 'Hatty', apparently. The forest witch lead you for a few minutes as the wind picked up,throwing your scarf around your neck like crazy.

"Thanks Hatty, ok you can let her go now!"

You sighed in relief,thankful that the forest witch wasn't leading you to your doom,"Josuke what is- oh my Arceus!" Floating several feat above you was a massive,shining, pink diamond! It had flecks of blue crystals inside,most likely from blinky.

"Yeah um s-so, I have something to show you!" He gave a sharp whistle and the giant crystal was shattered into dust by a drop kick. Some crystal chucks floated in the air,spinning slowly as snowflakes started to form on them while tinyer pieces fell with the snow,creating purplish haze across the forest floor with the lights of the fire fly pokemons lights reflecting off the crystals,"You mean alot to me and I know you've always wanted to raise a pokemon because you've always told how much you envied other trainers relationships" in his hands was a massive box,"So I want to see you grown and bond with her,I want to watch the both of you grow together! If you'll let me,I want to be your partner as well as her"

He placed the giant white box in your hand and it shook a bit,you pulled the box off revealing a small,silver coated Eevee,"Josuke! Oh my gosh- hi there!"

"Veen?" It looked up at you curiously and sniffed your finger before licking it.

"You always said you wanted to see one in real life so," he rubbed his neck again,"yeah and I was wondering if you wanted to be-"

"Yes!" You placed the box down and grabbed his hands,looking him dead in the eyes,"Josuke this is the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me! I-" you teared to tear up.

"H-hey! Dont cry!" He wasn't sure what to do,he didn't mean to make you cry,"___?" He panicked

"Im fine- your just really sweet,you know that?" Undoing your scarf you wrapped it around his cold neck and your own,"Iv always liked you but I was so scared that you didn't feel the same" you rested your head on his shoulder,"im just happy that you feel the same way is all"

He wrapped his arms around you,"me too but I get the feeling your parents won't like me all that much"

"Dont care~" you kissed his nose,"nope,not one bit!"

Hd smiled at that,"well we can-" he was cut off by a very happy,high pitch chime

"Diancie!" The crystal pokemon desended from on the tree branches she was hiding in and just about knocked the three of you over.

"Woah! Easy Diancie!" You scooped up the small eevee as the floating fairy pulled you into a tight hug. Josukes Mienshao leaned on his leg with a pleased look on its face.

"Ancie!" She cried floating excitedly,Hatterene looked very irrated at the sudden burst of emotions.

"Im sorry about her," Josuke sighed,"its getting late,I should take you home"

You pouted,"Awww! already? We still haven't given this cutie a name yet!" You kissed the shiny on her head.

"Vee!"

"Well...what about mmmm oh! What about diamond?" He scratched under her chin.

"Nah thats a lame name" you teased.

"What?! It is not!" He gasped.

"I thinking something along the lines of hmmm... silver? Maybe gold?" Eevee just nipped at your nose.

"Silver?! Gold?! Come on! ___! Diamond is so much better!" His carbink was following and playing with Diancie as you both slowly made your way through the forest.

"So then,you really set all the up for me?" You asked,the snow had gotten quite high by now. Josuke had returned his team back to their balls, save for your, eevee who was running around in front of you.

"Yeah,it took alot of trial and error to get that honey and crystals to work" he pulled you closer when another cold wind came through.

"I still can't believe you did all that for me,thats-" you couldn't even get the words out,"your wonderful,you know that?"

He cheesed," well,I wouldn't mind it fot you told me that every day"

"I wouldn't mind either" you coul see your houses light father up the path and let put a sigh,"come here eevee!" She turned to look at you.

"Vee?" She trotted up to you, rolling over on her belly for pets.

"This has your name written all over it" you picked her up and sat her on your shoulder then looked at Josuke with a half hearted glare,"you've already went a spoiled her"

"I may or may not have," he smiled,bringing out Staraptor.

"Hey star" you stroked the birds back,"thanks again Josuke,for everything! It was really sweet" your toes curled at the memory,something your remember for the rest of your life.

"Im just glad you liked it! Oh here's your scarf back!" He was about to unwind it from his neck when you beat him too the punch.

"No,you live farther away," you bunched it up around his neck,"I want you to wear but you have to bring it back ok?" You placed a cold hand on his cheek in which he responded with kissing your wrist.

"I know,I'll see you tomorrow" smiled at him you let your hand linger on his cheek as you pulled away,"stay safe ok?"

"I will,bye,___"

You climbed onto Staraptor's back,"bye Josuke" once you climbed into the window you waved to him.

He waved back and started making his way home down the dark,cobble stone road. Once out of sight he fist pumped the air.

"She said yes! Hahaha! She said yes!" He yelled,his heart felt like it was going to beat out of his chest! But he was happy,so very,very happy that he ran all the way home,completely forgetting that he could have flew.

All well that ends wells, atleast he was happy.
