A Gilmore Girls inspired one shot since I am watching Gilmore Girls before I watch season 15.

I personally imagine season 7 Reid but you can imagine any season Reid because it is season neutral as I like to call it. and you get a backstory complete with an ex husband! Which technically breaks Gilmore Girls cannon in time and who your ex husband actually married but idc.

Snow. You loved snow. Well except for the fact that's it's freezing cold but other than that it's amazing. Because with the first snow in Stars Hollow came the war re enactment which was now complete with the addition of the prostitute.

You had booked a room at the Dragonfly inn for a getaway weekend for you and your boyfriend (and co-worker), Spencer Reid. You hoped it would align with the first snow and war reenactment but it didn't.

Luckily you two were actually able to take the weekend off. There wasn't a case. It was only about a six hour drive so you drove there.

You checked in with Michel and then you and Spencer carried your stuff up to the room. Then you went to Luke's dinner because you both needed coffee. Luke's diner had the best coffee.

Spencer asked, "How come the sign says William's hardware?"

You replied, "Oh Luke turned his dad's hardware store into a diner and he kept that sign and put up his own"

You went into Luke's, hand in hand because you wanted to show him off to the town and not lose him. You stopped dead in your tracks when you saw her.

Rory Gilmore.

She was the one who broke up your marriage with Dean. Because they slept together. And you found that letter! Ugh.

Of course now you had moved on from Dean and all that but you still didn't trust her all that much.

Rory said, "Y/n, I didn't expect to see you here"

"Yeah, well we just came for some coffee" you explained.

"Well Luke's does have the best coffee"

"It does. Buy let's see how it tastes when this guy puts like at least 8 packets of sugar in it"

Spencer defended himself, "I don't put that much sugar in it"

You told Spencer,"Yes you do"

You made sure you were still holding Spencer's hand. You moved up to the counter and order two coffees to go. (One of which was decaf for you) Spencer grabbed some sugar packets. 7 sugar packets to be exact.

You quickly left as you didn't want Spencer to spend any more time in the same room as Rory. You may have been a little paranoid.

"So that was awkward" said Spencer.

You agreed with him, "Yeah, maybe we'll just go to Al's Pancake World for dinner instead"

"Pancakes?"

"Oh no Al's doesn't sell pancakes. It's actually international food"

Al quit making pancakes but he had already printed the napkins so he kept the name and switched to international cuisine

Spencer made a confused look, "That doesn't make sense"

You told him, "It's a story for a later time. Anyways, we can just eat at the inn. Sookie is a master chef"

You gave him a tour of the town. You showed him the Old Soda Shoppe where you used to work, Doose's Market, the cat store, the gazebo, the school, Ms. Kim's antiques, Ms. Patty's of course, and finally you came to the bookstore. You knew he would love the book store so you saved it for last.

You exclaimed, "And now what I'm sure will be your favorite part, the book store!"

"You really saved the best for last" stated Spencer.

" I know" you kissed him, "Now come on, let's go"

You led him into the bookstore. It was small but so was the town. You said hi to Andrew, the bookstore owner. Spencer perused the store and found a book he liked. It was in English as all the books that were sold in the bookstore. You were surprised he only found one.

Spencer was about to pay when you said, "No, I've got this"

"Oh come on let me pay" he said.

"No, this is my town. Let me pay for the book"

He knew better than to fight on that so you paid for the book. You looked at the time and saw that it was almost time for the town meeting.

You grabbed his hand, "Oh come on, we have to go! Or else we'll be late"

"Late for what?" questioned Spencer.

"The town meeting"

"But we don't live here"

You told him, "Yes but the town meeting is practically entertainment. We can't vote on any town issues but we can at least come and listen in"

"Okay" he agreed.

You grabbed his hand again and took him back to Ms. Patty's dance studio where the town meeting were held and you took dance lessons for years.

The town meeting was colorful as always. Taylor and Luke got into a fight, as always. There were smaller town issues that were fun to watch.

Spencer asked, "So what is Taylor?"

You answered, "Town selectman, whatever that means and no that was not me asking you what a town selectman does"

After the town meeting, you guys ran into Dean, your ex husband.

You married Dean when you were 18. It was one of your most stupid mistakes. But divorcing him changed your life. Before you divorced him, you had a part time job at the soda shoppe, went to school part time, and were on your way to becoming a dancer like Ms. Patty. You wanted to be a ballerina. After, you just wanted out of Stars Hollow. You wanted to see the world. So you quit your job, switched schools, and gave up on your ballerina dream in order to pursue your new dream of being an FBI agent. You now were the communications liaison for the BAU.

Dean said, "Y/n, long time no see"

You told him, "Dean, this is my boyfriend Dr. Spencer Reid"

You said his full name because you wanted Dean to know just how great Spencer was.

"Hi" said Spencer.

Spencer wrapped his arm around your waist and pulled you close. Was he getting jealous?

Dean stated, "Well it was nice seeing you two. I've gotta go. Clara's in town and I've gotta talk some sense into her"

"Alright well goodbye" you said.

Spencer told him, "Bye"

After Dean left, Ms. Patty came over to talk to you. When you were younger, Ms. Patty was your role model. You idolized her, you wanted to be just like minus all the husbands. You just wanted the one to stick but your first husband, Dean, did not stick.

Miss Patty exclaimed, "Y/n! You're here!"

"Yes I am" you said.

Miss Patty asked, "And who is this strapping young fellow with you?"

"This is my boyfriend, Dr. Spencer Reid"

"Doctor, how nice. Spencer, did you know Y/n is a very talented dancer?"

Spencer remarked, "She is now. I was unaware"

Miss Patty told him, "She was the best besides myself of course. After school, she'd come here and dance for hours. I remember one time after her dance lesson. Y/n was about 8 at the time. She came up to me and said 'Miss Patty, I'm going to be just like you when I grow up'"

You didn't remember doing that but you weren't surprised that you said that.

Spencer questioned, "She seriously said that?"

Miss Patty told him, "Yes she did. It took me by surprise when she said 'Miss Patty I changed my mind. I'm going to join the FBI' It broke my heart but I see it paid off"

You spoke up, "Yeah but if I lived my dream of being a ballerina, I never would've met Spencer"

Your life would have been so different if you and Dean never got divorced or married. You bet you would be dancing on broadway by now had you stayed on your ballerina career path.

"Well it's getting late, I'll leave you two alone" Miss Patty excused herself.

You left the dance studio and started making your way back to the Dragonfly for dinner. As you guys walked back to the Dragonfly Inn, you talked, hand in hand.

"I didn't know you were a dancer" said Spencer.

You told him, "That's how I'm so flexible"

"Well those dancing lessons really paid off"

You bumped into him on purpose, "My god Spencer"

"What, it's true" said Spencer.

You grabbed his hand again, "Come, let's sit at the gazebo"

"But we already looked at the gazebo"

"What's the point of looking at a gazebo?"

You led him back to the gazebo and sat next to him on the bench. The stars were beautiful although you were under a gazebo so you couldn't really see them.

Spencer asked, "So why'd you want to go back to the gazebo?"

You took his left arm and wrapped it around you, making sure his hand was on your stomach.

You turned and looked up at him, "I'm pregnant"
