You were busy imagining what it would be like to kiss Dr. Spencer Reid when the BAU team was called into the conference room for another case.

There was a serial killer in Lexington, Kentucky. Two actually it was serial killing team. Two different M.O.'s, two unsubs. Four dead bodies, two male and two female. The males were fit and attractive which helped the partner theory. The males had more jagged and shallower cuts suggesting the unsub that killed them was less experienced, younger, most likely the submissive partner. The females had deeper and straighter cuts suggested that the unsub was experienced and probably the dominant. The females were tied with rope. The men were handcuffed.

Both couples were murdered in their houses. There were no signs of a break in at either house so they must have used some sort of ruse in order for them to be let into the house or they forced them.

There were signs of sexual assault on all the bodies. Now that could mean one of the unsubs was gay or they're using the males as a surrogate for someone else.

The team arrived at the station and you met up with the detectives in charge of the two murder cases. To your surprise, you knew one of them.

"Zachary Rogers?" You asked.

Zachary Rogers asked you, "Y/n L/n?"

"Oh my god, you're the last person I'd expect to ever become a cop"

Prentiss asked, "You two know each other?"

You answered, "Yeah, we went to high school together"

That was technically the truth. You did go to high school together but he was your boyfriend in high school. The team didn't need to know that though.

Zachary Rogers looked even better than he did in high school. He had buzz cut blonde hair and he was very muscular. He could take Morgan. (Imagine Stephen Amell)

Officer Rogers took you and Prentiss to last the crime scene. Rossi and Morgan went to the first crime scene Reid and Hotch went to the morgue to check out the bodies.

It was a nice house. The door was fine. You and Prentiss went into the living room where they were killed.

There were two chairs out of place. They were facing each other.

"They made them watch as they raped and killed the other" you said.

There were marks on one of the chairs. That chair must've been the one the women was chained to. The ropes and cuffs were gone meaning the unsubs took them with them.

You looked down on the floor. Scratch marks and scuff marks. The wood floor wasn't hard. It was soft. That was a stupid move. The scuff marks are from the chairs but the scratch mark were from something else.

You looked around and found some a climb of hair underneath the couch. You bagged it.

You asked, "Did the Pauls have a dog?"

"No" answered Zachary.

You announced, "I think I know how they got in"

"How?" asked Zachary.

"Not by force. A ruse involving a dog. You see these scratch marks, they're not from the chairs but they are from a dog. This hair is not from one of our unsubs. It's dog fur"

You called Morgan to tell him about the dog. He found more fur at the scene but no scratch marks. Kind of hard to scratch carpet.

After checking out the scene, you and Prentiss asked some of the neighbors if they had seen anyone unusual walking a dog around. If they tried to talked to them, one would talk and the other would try to avoid the conversation.

The neighbors said they did see someone walking a husky around. Two males. One of their kids tried to talk to them but they just brushed him off. You got the kid with a sketch artist and were able to get a good idea of what the unsubs looked like.

You were back at the station talking to your ex boyfriend. Hotch and Reid were going over victimology. Prentiss was making coffee. Morgan and Rossi were putting together a profile. JJ was working with the press.

Reid was looking out onto you and Zachary, "Just look at them, he's clearly into her"

Hotch told him, "Reid, focus. Why these people? Why the Pauls and why the Coopers?"

"Why Y/n? I mean I'm sure there are plenty of other women who would be sexually attracted to him"

"Reid! Focus!"

Reid still couldn't focus so Hotch leaned out the door, "Y/l/n, I need you in here now"

You left your conversation with Zachary and joined Hotch and Reid working victimology. You found a connection between the two men. They both went to the same gym. One of the unsubs, the submissive one, most likely. You and Reid headed over to the gym. You talked to the front desk lady and showed the sketches.

The unsub didn't go to the gym. They worked there. You were able to get a name, Robert Wilson. It was the submissive and according to the front desk lady, he was gay.

You called Garcia, "I've got a name for you, Robert Wilson. I need anything you can get on him"

"Anything for you. Is there something going on between you and the hot cop?"

"You're on speaker with me and Reid"

"Prentiss told me. Zachary Rogers"

"Ex boyfriend, now what about Wilson?"

"He's got a clean record, he owns a husky named Buster, and he has an older brother Owen Wilson"

Reid spoke up, "Garcia, I'm sending you a picture of the sketch of the dominant. Tell me if it looks like Owen"

A few seconds later Garcia responded, "Oh my god, it looks just like him. Whoever that sketch artist was, they are good"

"Address, Garcia, we need an address"

"Alright alright. They live together at 405 Baker's Lane. I already sent it to the rest of the team"

You hung up on Garcia and met the rest of the team at the house. You guys were lucky. Both unsubs were there. The team went in and made the arrest. You grabbed a leash and took the dog. They questioned it in their heads but they didn't ask.

When you went back to the station, Morgan and Hotch went to the interrogation room with the unsubs. You took the dog inside and handed the leash over to Zachary.

"You always said you wanted a dog" You said before walking away.

You joined the others in watching the interrogation.

JJ questioned my generous action, "You gave him the dog?"

You replied, "He always wanted one but couldn't have one because of his sister's allergies. He doesn't have one now he does"

"Can we talk outside, Y/n?" asked Reid.

"Yeah sure"

You and Reid went out to the parking lot to talk. You weren't sure what he wanted to talk about but apparently he couldn't say it in front of your friends.

You asked, "So what did you want to-"

Reid cut you off with a kiss. You kissed him back. You had been waiting for this for years. You weren't sure he liked you back but now you were.

Reid started, "I'm sorry. I don't-"

You figured he'd say I don't know what came over me so you cut him off with another kiss. He kissed you back and bumped you into the side of the car. You two kept kissing for a while. Your team walked out of the station and saw the two of you.

Morgan joked, "Finally, Reid is getting some"

"I'm going to pretend I didn't see that" Hotch said.

Rossi added, "Me too"

Morgan whistled, "Get a room"

That is when you two both noticed that your co-workers were watching. It was pretty embarrassing and you hoped you wouldn't get fired.

Hotch told you, "We're going back to the hotel to get our things then we're going to the airport. Wheel's up in an hour"

An hour. You could do a lot in an hour.
