Accused

A/N: Sorry for the week break. First my phone got wet and now the top quarter of my phone's touch screen doesn't work and then my sister moved into college. I'm on season six but I'm waiting to see if they will send her home in the next few days before watching an episode without her.

Now this one is different from the others because in this one Spencer is not apart of the BAU and neither are you.My OC, SSA Elizabeth Mills, will be taking his spot in the BAU.  Mwhahahaa, mwhahha

ANGST

Word Count: 1,963

You lived in New York City with your husband Dr. Spencer Reid. He was an FBI agent who worked in sex crimes. Your parents were rich so you had a lot of money. You didn't have job because you didn't need one. You liked it and you spent most of your days planning fundraisers and functions.

You were home making dinner for you and your husband when you heard a knock at the door. You answered and it was the FBI. Two agents who said their names were Elizabeth Mills and Derek Morgan.

Agent Morgan asked,"Mrs. Reid, is your husband home?"

You replied, "No but he's on his way home from work. He should be home soon"

"Do you mind if we wait for him to come home and ask you a few questions?" asked Agent Mills.

You answered,"Not at all"

The agents came in and you sat down on your couch. The mac and cheese was in the oven along with the garlic bread. You just had to wait for to be done.

Agent Morgan asked,"Have you noticed your husband acting strange lately? Coming home late, being gone for long periods of time?

"No, when he's not at work, he's with me" you responded.

Agent Mills asked,"Do you know where your husband was on these dates?"

Agent Mills handed you a note with a bunch of dates and times. You knew where he was but you didn't think your word would be a good alibi. All those nights he was home with you. You didn't go out to dinner or anything that could provide you with a receipt to prove it. You didn't have any pictures on your phone to prove he was home.

"Yeah, he was home with me" you replied.

"On all those nights?" asked Agent Morgan.

"Yes, we don't like to go out very much"

You knew the agents weren't that for a good reason. You had a bad feeling about what was going to happen when Spencer came home.

"Mrs. Reid, do you know about what happened to Clay Johnson?" asked Agent Mills.

Clay Johnson... that was a name you'd never forget. Six months ago, he raped you and several other women. You were the only one willing to testify against him. He ran away before his trial. Your husband was pissed about what had happened. He blamed himself for being away on a case. He traveled for work occasionally.

You told the agents, "I heard he ran away before his trial"

Agent Morgan said,"He didn't run away. He was murdered."

"Oh my god"

Agent Morgan put a file down the coffee down and spread out some photos of Clay Johnson. He had been tortured, mutilated, and killed. He was shot several times in the chest and then shot once in the head, execution style. It was overkill which meant rage and probable personal connection. Those photos were horrific but deep down you thought he deserved it.

You quickly figured out why the agents were there. They thought Spencer did this.

You told them, "There's no way Spencer did this if that is you think. He would never do this. He couldn't even hurt a fly"

You heard the garage door open and a car roll in. It was Spencer. He was home. The oven went off. You got up off the couch and got your dinner out of the oven. You doubted you would even  get to eat it. You were disappointed, you were really looking towards eating it.

Spencer set his messenger bag on the counter,"Honey, what's going on?"

"I don't know, Spence" you answered.

Agent Morgan stood up, "Spencer Reid, you're under arrest for the murder of Clay Johnson and six other men"

"What? But I didn't kill anyone" said your husband.

Agent Morgan read him his rights and you watched as they took your husband away and into a black SUV. You started crying. This couldn't be happening. Why on earth would they think Spencer had anything to do with happened to Clay Johnson? Sure he certainly had motive but he couldn't straight up murder somebody. How could they just accuse him of such crimes? This could ruin his career.

You followed them to the station. You had a friend who was a cop. You hoped he could clear things up.

You saw Agent Morgan take Spencer to the interrogation room. You saw your friend, Diego, whisper to a blonde woman before they came over to you.

Diego told you. "You shouldn't be here"

You said,"I just want to know what is going on, Diego"

"I don't think you should know"

You looked to the board with horrors plastered all over it, "You know Spence didn't do this right?"

Diego told you, "I know but right now he's our best suspect"

"Why?"

"Why don't we sit down and then we can talk" suggested the blonde agent.

You sat down and Diego got a bottle of water. The blonde agent introduced herself as Agent Jennifer Jareau.

Agent Jareau asked, "So how far along are you?"

How did she know you were pregnant?

"About nine weeks" you responded.

Maybe Diego told her? Or maybe the FBI really does know everything. Nah, that's just crazy. Maybe she picked up on some subtle signs.

Diego told you,"I can take you home if you'd like"

"No, I don't want leave Spencer" you said.

"I know but it'd be better for you if were home"

Right now your husband was being interrogated by Agents Morgan and Rossi. They thought he did it. He had motive, fit the profile, and not that solid of an alibi.  All the victims were sex offenders and Spencer worked on all their cases. They weren't sure if you were in on it or not. Diego seemed pretty convinced that you and Spencer had nothing to do with it.

You overheard two brunette agents talking.

"Prentiss you need to see this" Agent Mills handed Prentiss a file.

The other agent opened it, "What is this?"

"Y/N Reid's medical file. She was in a bad accident five months ago. Her sister, Peggy, died and she miraculously got out with a concussion, a broken arm, and a few bruised ribs. But that's not the only thing. She had a miscarriage because of it"

Oh no. This was not good.

Prentiss stated,"According to this file, she was only about four weeks pregnant"

"That coincides with the rape" pointed out Mills.

"You think that Clay Johnson got her pregnant?"

Shit, shit, shit.

Elizabeth Mills said, "Well he didn't use condoms so that increases her chance of getting knocked up and she is in her peak reproductive years"

"I never want to hear a sentence like that again" remarked Agent Prentiss.

"Oh sorry but yes I do think that the baby she miscarried wasn't her husband's"

Damn it, they knew. Why did the FBI have to know everything? It wasn't fair. You really hoped they wouldn't tell Spencer about this

Prentiss pointed out, "Yeah but at that time Clay Johnson would've already been dead for a few days"

Mills said. "Maybe the rape wasn't the stressor but finding out he got her pregnant was"

LIES! Haha. Spencer didn't even know about that! Only your brother, Philip, knew that Clay Johnson had gotten you pregnant and you lost the baby. You had only known for a few days before the accident.

You spoke up, "It wasn't. Spencer doesn't know"

The two brunette agents turned to you. They looked confused as if they didn't know you had overheard their conversation.

"What doesn't Spencer know?" asked Prentiss.

You told her, "Sorry, I overheard your conversation. It's true what you were saying but please don't tell Spencer. I don't want him to know"

Agent Jareau asked. "Who knew about it?"

"Just my brother, Philip. I found out I was pregnant on the day Clay Johnson died. That can't be a coincidence right?"

Agent Prentiss said, "Maybe but it's worth looking into"

Diego announced, "Okay, we're going to go back to your house now and I'll have Allison meet you there"

"Fine" you muttered.

Diego drove you home. Allison was Diego's sister and a good friend of yours as well. Agents Jareau and Prentiss went with. You reheated your dinner. You were hungry. Allison was there and she made you some calming tea.

Agent Prentiss asked,"Mrs. Reid, is there anywhere you're not allowed to go? Like an office or a room?"

You answered,"No but I'm not allowed to touch Spencer's work laptop"

"Where is it?"

"Should be in his messenger bag"

Agent Jareau got off the phone, "The bullet didn't come from his work revolver. Do you know if your husband owns any other guns?"

"We have a gun in the safe in our closet but that's it" you replied.

Agent Prentiss asked,"What's the combination?"

"15-83-29"

Agent Prentiss left with Agent Jareau to go check out the safe. You continued eating your dinner. It was good. The mac and cheese wasn't too cheesy and the garlic bread was good as always. You just wished you could share it with Spencer.

Agent Prentiss came down the stairs, "The safe is empty. There is no gun"

Well that was not good. Maybe someone stole it. There is only one person besides you and Spencer who knew the combination and that was Philip.

Allison suggested,"Maybe someone stole the gun"

"And stole nothing else?" questioned Diego.

Agent Prentiss announced,"There are no signs that the safe was broken into"

This was not looking good for Spencer but your faith in him was still strong. You knew in your heart that he didn't do this.

Your phone started going off. Your brother was calling you.

You picked up the call, "Hey"

Philip said, "I heard what happened to Spencer but don't worry he'll be out soon. I've got this"

"What do you mean you"

You were cut off by the sound of a gunshot from the other line. Now this was really not good.

Allison asked, "Was that a gunshot?"

You told her,"I think so. That was Philip. He said that he heard what happened to Spencer but that he'll be out soon...That he has got this"

"I'll go check it out" Diego got up.

"We'll go with you" added Agent Prentiss.

Diego left with the two agents. You finished your dinner with Allison. She kept telling you not to worry and that Spencer would be home soon. She knew he didn't do. If Spencer had committed murder, the cops wouldn't know about it. Allison was rather convincing.

You couldn't stand just waiting there, not knowing, It bugged you.

Allison got a call from Diego after you two finished up dessert. Another man was dead. The gunshot you heard was the one that killed them. Diego and the agents found the stolen gun from the safe at Philip's house along with a trail of blood and a bloody bullet. Pictures of all the victims were plastered over the walls.

It wasn't Spencer who killed those men. It was Philip.

You and Allison rushed to the station.Spencer was being released from custody.

It turned out your brother had hacked into Spencer's laptop and got the names. Philip was a genius with computers but Garcia was better.

Agent Morgan took the handcuff off Spencer and you rushed towards him and hugged your husband.

You told him, "I love you"

"I love you too, both of you" responded your husband.

It wasn't long before they were able to catch your brother. Part of you couldn't believe he did this but another part of you wasn't surprised. Philip had record of aggravated assault and was way too over protective of his sisters. He was so upset when Angelica moved to the London and he was distraught after the accident took Peggy's life.

You clung to your husband as your brother was brought into the station in handcuffs. Tonight was hectic and you didn't need an eidetic memory to know you were never going to forget it. First, your husband was falsely accused of being a serial killer, then you watched as two FBI agents arrested him in your own house and finally it turns out your brother was the real serial killer all along!

In the end, you were glad just to be with your husband again.
