"Akutagawa! Wait up!" The male panted. "No need to run.."

A sigh was given in return. The mafia executive turned around to face the rest of the group.

It's the middle of winter. Does that mean it's reasonable to book a whole ass airline for both the Port Mafia and the Detective Agency to use?

No.

—Did they do it anyways?

Yeah.

During a conversation between Poe and Ranpo, a winter cabin resort was brought up. It was a few states away, except, Ranpo could care less about that fact and decided to book the flights.

Fukuzawa was not exactly pleased to hear that a good amount of his money was pretty much gone, without him knowing ahead of time. Although after seeing the resort they booked, he wasn't as grumpy.

The flight that was taken to get there was long, and Dazai has said multiple times already, 'I could've spent that precious time studying new painless ways to die.'

Besides all of the horrible inconveniences Dazai had to go through—he enjoyed the flight to say the least.

His favorite red head being asleep on his shoulder for half the trip made the time worth it.

Now, Akutagawa and Atsushi are standing in front of the hotel, Higuchi catching up quickly.

Dazai's currently complaining about how cold it is outside, while Kunikida and Chuuya decide that they are going to spend the rest of the weekend deciding on how to leave the brunette here for the rest of his silly little life.

Kyouka was listening to Fukuzawa, not exactly sure what he was talking about, but happy to speak to someone she looks up too.

Meanwhile—Mori was trying to convince Elise to let him buy her some new winter outfits. She wasn't thrilled about the idea of being out in the cold.

Yosano and Kouyou, hand in hand, had a light conversation together.

"Took you all long enough." Akutagawa muttered, walking into the building.

Chuuya scoffs.

The doors opened quickly, letting the fresh and room temperature air brush the group.

"I can finally breathe normal air!" Dazai yelled, not super loud.

"Hopefully that doesn't last for long." Chuuya grinned, leaving the other male behind as he walked towards the counter.

That pride the red head had two seconds ago vanished quick. The receptionist pulled up a screen on the computer in front of her.

Kyoka shared a room with Gin and Higuchi. She didn't seem all that bothered by the thought. Although she would have preferred sharing a room with Atsushi—who she sees as a brother, therefore she would feel comfortable—Kyoka knows if anyone from the Port mafia is a threat, she could kill them.

As simple as that.

Not that it's following the rules—but she could.

Fukuzawa was in a room with three beds, one belonging to him and one belonging to Ranpo and Poe—who he thinks of as his son and son-in-law. The third belonged to Mori, and that bed was on the other side of the room.

Yosano happened to walk in as Ranpo was booking the rooms, therefore she is staying with her girlfriend.

Naomi and Tanizaki weren't alone in a room together. There was other members from either the PM or ADA.

"The next room on here belongs to Nakahara Chuuya and Osamu Dazai." The woman set a key on the counter, and Chuuya's head went blank.

"You're telling me I have to stay with HIM??" He pointed towards a brunette who was annoyingly smiling.

Not the type of grin like he wants to laugh in his face because that's how funny the look on Chuuya's face is—but the type of smile that shows genuine relief that they would get to spend time together.

Atsushi froze in place. "That means.." To his disbelief, he was interrupted.

"Atsushi Nakajima and Ryunosuke Akutagawa-"

This was going to be a long weekend.

The light switch was flipped on as the brunette entered the room, pulling his luggage close behind him.

Chuuya's eyes widened at the sight of there only being one bed. He wasn't close with Ranpo, but he knew damn well this was a set up, since he was the one who booked the rooms and all.

Not wanting to start an awkward conversation, he kept his mouth shut.

"Look!" The brunette rushed towards the balcony, completely ignoring the bed. That's—convenient.

Footsteps were heard from behind him, along with a small gasp. "No one told me there was a fucking jacuzzi here?!" Chuuya paused, looking around through the windows. This was the only room that so happened to have one.

You know.

The only room that had a hot tub, styled for couples.

He was so going to kick Ranpo's ass when he got back to Yokohama.

It was dark out, just turning past eleven. The moon was bright and full, giving off a nice amount of light.

Dazai pressed a button that had a power symbol on top, triggering the sound effects of bubbling from the jets. There was light coming from the sides of the jacuzzi.
He reached down to feel the water. Luckily, it was hot. Dazai wasn't sure if warm would be warm enough.

Dazai walked into the room, placing a hand over the edge of the glass door, "The water's really hot! You should come join me."

That was—unexpected, to hear from the brunette. Chuuya wasn't complaining, to say the least. He was beyond grateful for being invited.

Chuuya looked in the mirror. He was wearing black boxers, which happened to be very short. The material was light and comfortable. His body was extremely toned, abs being painfully visible.

Did he pick these out of purpose?

Maybe.
Dazai doesn't need to know that.

Assuming that the brunette was already dressed, the red head walked out onto the balcony. His hair was loose and fell over his shoulder nicely. It's not everyday Dazai sees his former partner without his hat. Or for that matter, without basically anything.

Chuuya shut the door to the room—allowing Dazai to stare for a little longer than he should.

The brunette had both arms wrapped around the side of the tub, laying his head back and shutting his eyes.

He knew he found Chuuya attractive, but he didn't expect to be resisting the urge to compliment everything about him.

From the way he notices the light freckles falling over his former partners face, to the thought of how perfectly the shorts seem to grab Chuuya's ass.

Attempting to push the thoughts away doesn't help. Not when Dazai can feel the temperature of his body rise when Chuuya enters the hot tub.

"Woah! The jets are awesome!" A smile appears on Dazai's face—noticing how impressed Chuuya looks from such a simple thing.

"Come over here." The brunette offers, not taking his eyes off of the other.

Chuuya turns around—just now processing that he's in a jacuzzi with Dazai, alone.

Surprisingly obeying what was asked of him, he takes a few steps forward until he's standing between the males legs.

Dazai looks put together for once in his life. His hair is shifted to one side, along with his body being completely toned.

Chuuya notices the tongue piercing when Dazai's talking. It became a habit after he caught sight of it once a while back. That surely put thoughts in his head he had no desire to think of.

Breaking Chuuya's thoughts, the male in front of him wrapped both hands around his hips. Before the red head could think straight again and process the movements, Dazai had already pulled him through the water and onto his lap.

The brunette lays his head against Chuuya's shoulder, feeling the warmth of his skin.

Chuuya's silent. Holy shit it's good that Dazai cannot see his face right now—it felt hotter than the jacuzzi itself.

"Let's just stay like this for a while, shall we?"
