"Hey, Aku! Come over here!" Atsushi spoke to his boyfriend with a wide grin, letting his knees drop to the ground by a small animal.

Akutagawa had a really soft spot for cats. The same goes for Chuuya, just not as much.

The Rashōmon user looked at the white haired male before walking over at a quick pace—slowing down once he realized how obvious it was that he was excited. Embarrassing.

"I wonder if one of these cats would commit double suicide with me." Dazai spoke, avoiding Chuuya's intense gaze on him.

"Seriously?! I'm sure none of these poor animals would want to do anything with you." The red head scoffed, turning away.

"Chuuya! Come over here!" Atsushi stood up and did a hand motion signaling for the short male to go join them.

Dazai followed close behind once his partner got up and out of his seat.

The tiger-like male looked at Chuuya for a little while longer, before turning his gaze back towards the cat. "You guys look super alike!"

There was a small orange kitten before them, looking around 5 months of age. The orange coat had sunlight reflecting off of it.

"I suppose so.." The mafia member mumbled.

The brunette stared in awe while examining his lovely boyfriends features and comparing them to the fluffy kitten.

"Can we take one home?" Akutagawa asked seriously.

"I don't think that's how it works.." A sigh came from Atsushi.

The tiger-like boy stood up to look for more animals, avoiding the disappointed male beside him.

Chuuya jumped into the conversation to answer his fellow mafia members question, "Why can't we just steal one? It wouldn't make a difference."

Akutagawa, considering the cats feelings, shook his head no. "What if they like it here? We might not know what food to get them."

Well this is new.

Chuuya sighed before walking away, after making it halfway across the cafe to where Atsushi was he turned around and came back, realizing he forgot his bag.

"Chuuyaaaa, where are you going? Our table is back this way." Dazai asked.

"I know that, bastard. I forgot my bag. I'll be right back." The ginger replied.

-

Across the cafe, a black bag with a shoulder length strap sat on a chair. It looked more full than be remembered. Chuuya doesn't remember himself packing a full bag.

"Hello, I apologize for the inconvenience but the store is at closing hour. I hope you enjoyed yourselves!" A female waitress spoke over a intercom.

Oh well. He'll figure it out later.

-

Chuuya arrived back with the rest of the group just in time.

"We'll leave a check on the table." Atsushi winked towards Dazai, who seemed to already expect that answer.

-

The four men decided to stay at a hotel for the week they got off. Mori and Fukuzawa decided they deserved some time off for a little.

"Goodnight guys, sleep well!" Atsushi yelled down the hall towards the red head and brunette, who were already entering their room.

"People are asleep at this hour you know!" Chuuya yelled back.

Dazai, who just mentally facepalmed, gave a smile and spoke in a normal voice, "Goodnight to you both as well."

After closing the door behind him, the brunette walked over and set his partners bag down by their bed. He then continued to ramble about how tired he was.

Chuuya looked out of the glass at the end of their room, viewing his reflection in return. He leaned his forearms on the window sill.

Dazai saw his movement and walked over, wrapping an arm around his partners waist before leaning his chin down to his shoulder. "Something on your mind?"

The gravity user hesitated before speaking, "Just tired is all."

Knowing something was wrong, the brunette took into account that his boyfriend didn't seem to have an interest in talking about it, so he let it slide for now.

"Do you want me to make you something to eat?" Dazai asked, lifting his head off the others shoulder.

Chuuya nodded with a slight smile of reassurance that he didn't need anything, "Is it alright if we just go to bed?"

As chuuya was speaking, Dazai noticed movement coming from his boyfriend's bag, sitting just across the room.

"Uh—Yeah. That's fine."

-

"Alright, I'm done." Dazai walked out of the bathroom. It took him more time to get changed due to all of the bandages wrapped around his body.

Letting out a yawn, the smaller male laid down on his side before letting his eyes fall closed.

Dazai pulled the comforter over the both of them after laying down himself, wrapping both arms around his partner.

"Goodnight, Chuuya." He gave a slight kiss to the back of his lovers head.

-

1:48am

Chuuya woke up to the sound of a constant shuffling coming from his bag beside the bed. He tried to ignore it and fall back asleep, but the noise kept bothering his ears.

Reaching down while trying not to wake his boyfriend up, he got ahold of his bag before the top of it flipped open and a familiar sight came into his vision.

"WHAT THE FUCK?" Chuuya jumped and sat up quickly, waking up the taller man next to him.

"DAZAI, WAS THIS YOUR DOING?" The red head was in complete shock once realizing it was the same kitten he was compared to before at the cat cafe they went to that day.

"Was what my doing? You just woke me up by screaming, I'm tired."

"THIS KITTEN?"

"WHAT?" Dazai leaned forward before looking at what Chuuya had taken out of his bag and was now sitting in his lap.

"Aww! I didn't know you stole this precious kitty, that's so cute!" He continued.
Wait.
"YOU STOLE THE DAMN CAT?"

Chuuya turned to look at his still half asleep boyfriend with a concerned face, not knowing how to reply to that comment. "I didn't steal it you moron! They must of crawled into my bag or something when I left it behind."

Dazai let out a yawn and brought it in between the two males, "Well, it can sleep with us tonight. We'll ask Akutagawa and Atsushi about it tomorrow."

After laying down and becoming more comfortable, the cat seemed to calm down and let out a few purrs every now and then.

They don't even have cat food for the morning????

9:03am

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING NAKAHARA!?"
Chuuya ran around the kitchen area of their hotel room chasing the cat, who Dazai decided to name after his boyfriend.

"DON'T EAT THAT!" He yelled again.

There was a knock on the door, "Guys? What on earth is going on in there? We can hear you from 4 rooms down the hall!" A familiar voice that Dazai made out to be Atsushi spoke.

"CHUUYA STOLE A CAT YESTERDAY!" The brunette yelled in reply.

"I DID NOT STEAL IT!" Chuuya yelped.

Akutagawa slammed the door open—extremely quick.

Once Atsushi walked in he shut the door behind him, rubbing his eyes afterwards.

"Did you guys just wake up or something?" Chuuya mentioned, finally having Nakahara calm down.

"Yeah.. WAIT WHAT IS THAT?" Atsushi exclaimed before pointing a finger towards what was in the red head's lap.

"I thought we weren't planning on stealing any cats yesterday." Akutagawa spoke up.

Chuuya put on an annoyed face, "Why does everyone think I stole the damn thing?!"

Dazai shrugged, "You're the one who mentioned it in the first place."

"Well, what are you gonna do with it?" The tiger-like male spoke.

"We'll bring it back to the Cat Cafe." Chuuya answered.

"Today's a Sunday, it's not open today." Aku added.

Dazai opened his mouth after throughly thinking through his words, "Why don't we keep it? It looks just like you, Chuuya!"

Akutagawa mumbled something before quickly shutting up.

"Aku? Do you want to take care of it for the day?" Atsushi asked with a smile shining towards his boyfriend.

The dark haired boy simply nodded while attempting to hide his smile.

"Great! It's all settled then. We'll bring, Nakahara was it? Back to you tonight! Maybe tomorrow morning." Atsushi gave a wide grin before taking the cat out of Chuuya's lap and handing it to Akutagawa, who was froze in place.

"Hey! I never even agreed to this!" Chuuya yelled.

"You're the one who stole ittt."

"DAZAI I DID NOT STEAL THE CAT??"

Akutagawa slowly pet the smaller animal in his arms. Nakahara warmed up unusually quickly and nuzzled their nose into the man's sleeve.

Chuuya wasn't sure if he should be in awe or be annoyed.

Once the two younger men left the room, Dazai turned to the shorter male. "Hey, Chuuya?"

"Yeah? What is it?" He stood up, looking at the brunette.

"We'll take great care of the kitten, I promise." The past mafia member gave a reassuring smile before feeling the warmth of his partner around him.

"I know we will. Hey, Dazai?" Chuuya lifted his head.

Dazai left his hand resting on the others head, before returning the gaze to look down at his lover. "Hm?"

"Thank you."

"You're welcome, Chuuya."
