{Fluff highschool au}

Dazai POV:

I remember when I first met him I was sitting under a tree reading a book when he popped out of said tree hanging backwards. He scared me and I said that.

"Jeez you scared me. What are you doing up there"

I've heard about him we were neighbors but never really talked. He replied,

"I was bored and was having here. Why are you reading?"

We were 7 at the time but I was only reading a comic book though I guess other 7 year olds wouldn't read a book on summer break. 

"I'm not very athletic. Nothing I can really do."

"You seem cool" He replied which caught me of guard. Making friends is hard for me.

"Really?"

"Yeah!" He got of the tree and looked at me, "Friends?" He asked holding is hand out. I put my book down and grabbed his hand.

"Sure" And ever since then we've been inseparable we always had the same classes so we were never apart. Even we got to middle school they tried giving us different classes it didn't work. Chuuya would let his anger issues take over and would constantly get into fights when I wasn't near to calm him down a bit. And I simply didn't engage in class conversation without Chuuya. So the school put us back together in a matter of months. My dad (M*ri) was well known in own city he was a business man and I will admit girls liked me and Chuuya. But I've never saw Chuuya date a girl. Well the only on he dated lasted for only 2 months so I don't think that really counts.

Then came highschool. Chuuya was into soccer so he tried out for the team. Of course he got in, but he was still by my side. He never really hung out with his teammates and every practice and game I was there. Soon enough came that day. A day I would never forget.

School had just ended and we were at my house playing videogames.

"Osamu you suck ass at this game" Chuuya spoke after beating me again

"Shut up stupid I'm just not at my A game right now." I say even though it was some lame excuse 

"Hey Osamu." He said looking at me instead of the big TV in my room

"Yeah?" I said pausing the game looking at him.

"If I tell you this you can't tell anyone. Ok?"

"Ok...? What is it. I would never betray you like that" I replied a bit confused

"I'm gay. Like I like men. That's why I never dated a girl before besides you know who."

"OH! You know I'm not homophobic dude I'll love you regardless your my best friend"

"Really? Thanks Osamu that means a lot"

"No problem. Have you told your mom yet?" I asked. He then looks down

"Yeah I just thought I'd tell you to cause you really important to me"

"Can I tell Chuuya something to?" I ask and he looks up again.

"Sure wsp?"

"I'm bi.."

"I didn't know you liked men, Have you told your dad?" He asks me the same question I asked him

"No. Im kinda scared to."

"That's fine do it at your own pace."

"Yeah I'll try to tell him."

"Hey I have something to confess" Chuuya says his cheeks turn a light red and he's fumbling with his fingers

"Yeah what's up?"

"I like you romantically" He says looking away. My eyes go wide in shock before I move closer towards him. He turns to look at me.

"I like you too. Don't worry about it" I say looking into his eyes. I can also feel my cheeks turn red. We just sit there for a while looking into each other's eyes before Chuuya looks down at my lips, cups my cheek with one of his hands and kisses me. It caught me off guard but I landed into it and kissed him back. It wasn't my first kiss but it was by far the best one I've had. Cause it felt right. Even though some people might see it as wrong. It felt right to me. Sonn Chuuya pulled away because his phone dinged.

"Huh?" He mumbled as he reached for his phone it was a text from his mom asking him to come home.

"Oh uh Osamu my mom wants me home but I uh will you go out with me? Like date me."

"Yeah! Yeah. I will uh you should go."

"Oh uh right uh see you tomorrow I'll come get you at like 4 pm"

"Ok! Sounds good" I give him a thumbs up and he laughs then leaves my room closing the door behind me. The second I hear the front door shut I grab my pillow and scream into it. Sure I've dated people before but I've never been in a real date. So I was nervous. Super nervous I looked at the time it was 5 pm. I know I have to go to bed early to get up in time enough so I go get ready to order some takeout cause M*ri isn't gonna be here for the weekend he left 100 dollars for me (and Chuuya) to order food.
