29."How can you hide something so beautiful?"

Riley said she didn't want to give me my Christmas gift until we went to bed. So now, I'm waiting for her to come out of the bathroom. She has been away for a while, maybe she is nervous or something. I don't know, might be that I am too impatient to wait. It's just that I'm very excited since she didn't want to give it until the evening.

She seemed a little on edge about it, she was very quiet and a little lost in her thoughts most of the time after I gave her my present. She really likes the necklace, even though it might not be much. To be honest, I don't really know what to give her. It's just I am not good at begin the perfect girlfriend, because I never was to the other girls I was with. This is different though, but I still suck.

I smile by the sound of the door opening and watch my gorgeous girl find her way down to the bed next to me. Then I lean in to kiss her, unexpected just the way I like it. I can't but help loving the reaction she gives me when I do it. She wrinkles her nose as she chews on her lower lip.

"Come here." She says, taking my arm and I get up above her.

"Can I take off these?" I ask putting my pointy finger on her sunglasses and she nods. Riley keeps her eyes closed after I took them away.

"So," I cup her cheeks and stroke her with my thumbs on her soft skin.

"What is my present?" I wonder excited about what it is. She starts to bite her lower lip, looking all nervous.

"Come on, babe, can't be that bad? Can it?" I chuckle and she snorts as she shakes her head, annoyed.

"Come closer." She whispered and I smile as I lean my forehead on hers.

"And close your eyes." I do as she says, locking my eyes, wondering what she is going to do now.

"Are they closed?" She asks and I nod.

"Yes."
"You are not lying are you?" She wonders.

"No." I take her hand in mine and lay it on my face, so she can feel that they are closed.

"Good." She says, and I am waiting for her to tell me to open them again, but I'm a little confused as she is just tracing my face with her fingers.

"How long do I have to keep them closed?" I ask, unsure about what's going on.

"Just give me a moment." She whispers and I nod with a smile. I just lay above her waiting for what seems forever, but I really like her touching my skin.

"Babe, if you don't do anything soon, I am going to fall asleep." I laugh and listen to my girl snort.

"Okay, but just don't get disappointed."

"Why would I be that?" I ask confused.

"You can open your eyes now." She whispers. I chew on my lower lip a little nervous before my eyes snap open. My lungs stop reaching for air as I am starting into the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen. How can she hide them? They are so gorgeous, brown, but not the regular. They look like honey, so sweet.

"I..I love you so much." I smile, feeling the tears creeping out of my eyes.

"And you are so beautiful." I say, which cause her to close her eyes.

"No, no don't shut them. I love them. Come on baby." I smile. After a moment, she opens her eyes and I breathe again.

"Thank you," I say gratefully, staring right into those honey eyes.

"How can you hide something so beautiful?" I wonder, amazed, watching how her eyes move as if she is looking around, but I know she can't see. You can see it in her eyes that there is something wrong, but they are still perfect. She is perfect.

"You know what?" I say as I reach for her sunglasses.

"What?" She chuckle.

"You don't need this." I say and break her sunglasses. She seems surprised by the sound I just made.

"Did you just ruin my sunglasses?" She asks and I watch her clench her teeth.

"Yes." I smile as I lean down to kiss her, but she knows and push me back by my cheeks.

"Why did you do that?" She asks angry, which I roll my eyes too.

"Because you are beautiful. Very, very beautiful..." She laid her hand over my mouth.

"I need them, Drew." She sigh.

"No you don't, there is no reason for you to hide. I love you and I love your eyes." I say after I removed her hand from my face. Then I move my fingers on her cheek and trace her jawline.

"Please, don't be scared to show them." I beg and rest my head on her shoulder.

"Fine." She muttered, which makes me annoyed. I start to tickle her, like I did last time when she answered me like that.

"Dewey, stop." She laughs and the next thing I know is a horrible pain in my nose. I roll away from her groaning in pain as I lay my hands over my nose.

"I'm so sorry." Riley says, holding me in her arms.

"That really hurt." I mumble.

"Well, maybe you shouldn't have tickled me" She says annoyed.

"I just want you to answer me nicely." I pout with a sigh.

"Okay, I will stop using sunglasses, but not at school." She says and I smile as I turn around and push us down in the bed.

"Deal," I kiss her neck.

"Now, let me love you." I chuckle as I hold her tightly, and nuzzle her neck, enjoying her sweet giggle.

"I love you too, Drew." She says and kisses the top of my head.

"This is the best thing in the whole world." I whisper, closing my eyes as I breathe her in.

"Yes, it is."
