2. I accept

I met up with my friends next to Hannah's locker as always. Still I am waiting for her to find that girl to make me work all year to get. I am too impatient; I just want to get started.

"So, have you found anyone yet?" I ask looking at Hannah, but I can see Becca roll her eyes next to me. Hannah shakes her head, causing me to sigh in disappointment.

"What about her?" Olivia asks, pointing at a light haired girl that is walking pass us. She is pretty.

"No, not Lucy." Hannah say, still looking down the hallway for someone. Olivia and I look at Hannah confused about how she knows that girl's name. I shake it off as I look at my phone, a text from mom saying she will be late home today.

"Her." I look up at Hannah, who is watching someone with a crooked smile. I search the hallway, but not really seeing who she is looking at.

"Who?" I ask confused, then she points, but still I can't see.

"Hannah are you insane?" Becca yells in anger behind me, making me jump and still I don't know who it is. I am looking at all of those girls, but I don't know which one it is.

"I kind of have to agree with Becca on this one." Olivia says nervously, making me more curious about who it is.

"I still don't see her." I say impatiently and Hannah comes next to me and point down the hall. My eyes widen, as I understand who it is.

"Drew, even you have to see that is insane."

"I accept." Smiling as I watch the blond girl down the hall. I have seen her before. She is beautiful.

"Idiot." Becca mutters behind me.

"She is gorgeous." The words slip out of me as I watch the young girl down the hall. I can see that Hannah is watching me strangely, but I can't keep my eyes away from the blond girl.

"Are you sure?" She asks and I nod.

"If you break her heart, Drew, I swear I am going to kick your ass so hard." Becca says behind me and I smile as I turn to her.

"I will be gentle." I promise her, but I can see in her blue eyes that she does not trust me.

"Like you were with Jenny?" She says raising her eyebrow.

"That was not my fault. She was so clingy and annoying." I answer, listening to Hannah laugh of that. She really enjoyed that one.

"Drew, that girl is blind for god's sake." She whispers harshly as if she thinks the girl will hear her all the way over here.

"You don't think I didn't notice?" I say, rolling my eyes. Becca still watches me with anger of how horrible I am.

"I'm gonna try." I smile as I turn to look at the girl. I take my brown hair up in a ponytail before walking down the hallway with my hand moving over all of the lockers that I am passing on my way.

Then just one meter away from her, I stop. Feeling how my heart is beating of nervousness, which has not happened since with the first girl. As I was on my way to take one-step.

The blond girl turns to me, I know she can't see me, but it still feels that way. Then she smile a sly smile my way. I completely freeze on my place. Does she know that I am standing here? I swallow my pride as I walk back over to my friends that look at me worried.

"Are you okay? It looks like you just saw a ghost." Oliva says as she laid her hand on my shoulder.

"I-I... I am fine." I tremble. Then watch the smile on Becca's face.

"Are you having second thoughts?" She asks tilling her head, but I narrow my eyes.

"Hell no, just need some time to observe her." I explain saving what is left of my pride after that blond girl made me swallow some of it.

"Just like the first one?" Hannah asks and I nod. Can't seem to find words right now.

"Did she steal your tongue on the way down there?" Olivia mock, making the girl she has a crush on laugh.

"No, I can do this." I mutter as I walk pass them. Annoyed that the blond girl made me make a fool of myself.
