15. Go and get her

I can't wait to tell Olivia the good news today. I have been excited for the whole week. Now Riley is getting dressed in the bathroom while I am lying in her bed, staring at the roof thinking about how and when to tell Olivia. She deserves Becca more than anything, and maybe all of this fighting would end.

"I hope..."

"Oh god! Don't scare me that much." I say and take a deep breathe. Then turn to look at the beautiful girl.

"Sorry," She chuckles as I step out of the bed and take her hand in mine.

"I was going to say. I hope it is okay, I just wear jeans?" She asks.

"Of course," I smile as I lean down to kiss her forehead.

"We are just going to be there for a short time and beside you, look wonderful no matter what." I tell her, watching how her cheeks go from the natural color to the shade of red. I step back and take her hand in mine.

"Let's go."

My girl is following me, holding my arm as we step up to the noisy house that belongs to my good friend. She is going to get a hell of a day today. Knowing that the girl she has had a crush on like forever actually has one for her as well, but she needs to be careful.

I mean, it's Becca we are talking about. She might get defensive and very angry, but I bet Olivia knows how to place Becca's feet back down on the ground.

"Are you okay?" Riley asks worried.

"Yeah, why?" I ask and lean down to kiss her temple.

"You are shaking." She explains, still concerned.

"Oh, it might be because I am excited to tell Olivia." I say to her and she smiles to me. I stop and tell Riley that we are going to walk up some stairs. I place my hand over hers and we step up together.

Then I open the door and automatically I look for a way to go with Riley. It's full of people here and I kind of knew in advance that I have to keep Riley on my arm the whole night. Not that I mind, at all, because then I know where she is and who is talking to her.

I don't want some asshole to use her. Riley is most likely the youngest in here. I don't think there is any other than seniors here. We walk through the crowd and find Olivia, with her head low and a sad expression on her face, which is starting to get very normal when it comes to her. Then she turns and when she sees us a smile comes on her face.

"Hi guys."

"Hi." Riley and I say at the same time. She smiles to me and I smile back to her. I know she can't see it, but I would like her to know that I smile all the time because of her.

"What's wrong?" I ask. Olivia sighs and then just point out the other door in the kitchen. I see Becca sitting on her boyfriend's lap while she is talking to Hannah. I turn back to Olivia, who has a strong drink in her hand. I take it out of her hand and pour it out in the sink.

"Hey, I needed that." She says angrily.

"Not as much as you need her." I point at Becca.

"I can't have her." Olivia says annoyed and then starts making another drink, but I take the bottle out of her hand.

"Yes, you can." I say determined as I place the damn bottle next to me, so she won't take it again.

"She likes you, Riley has noticed." I smile as I look at my girl. I ask her to explain and she does.

"No, she hates me." Oliva says, shaking her head, her eyes so full of sadness as if the only thing she can see is the world on fire.

"Olive, she is probably too scared to tell it to anyone, including herself. That's the way she is using Daniel as a shield." I explain her, but she just shakes her head. I clench my teeth in annoyance of how stubborn she is.

"I swear if you kiss her, she will kiss you back no matter how much she tries not to, just like my girl here." I wink.

"Hey!" Riley says and kick my leg.

"It's true." I chuckle and lean down to put my lips on her temple.

"You are lucky you are cute." She mutters.

"I can't just step in there and just kiss her." Oliva says, rolling her eyes as she tries to reach for the bottle, but I snap it before she can.

"No, of course not, but just do something." I tell her irritated. She stands in front of us thoughtful, still unsure.

"If you don't do anything, then I will tell her you have been in love with her since middle school." I warn he,r firmly and move my feet slowly on my way to do so, but she garb my arm.

"Fine, but give me that." She looks at the bottle in my hand.

"No way." I say as I walk away with it into the room where Becca and Hannah is. We all say hello to each other, then I throw Hannah the damn bottle. She watches me confused, but I just shrug it off.

Then I sit down and drag Riley down on my lap. I listen to Hannah and Riley talking with each other, while I am waiting for Olive, to stop thinking and start acting. It's been a while now.

"I'll be right back." I kiss Riley's cheek before I slip out from underneath her.

"Don't leave her." I say to Hannah who nods. Then I walk back into the kitchen. Where I find Olivia leaning on the kitchen counter.

"Are you okay?" I ask, and she just nods.

"Yeah, just, thinking." She breathes and cross her arms over her chest, uncomfortable.

"If she likes me then why haven't she just said or done anything?" She wonders and I step in next to her, looking at what she is seeing. Which is no other than Becca.

"Because she is just as sacred as you are and maybe afraid to break up with Daniel?" I say, which makes the look of sadness come across her face.

"I want her so much, wanted her for years." Olivia says.

"I know." I sigh, just thinking about how many years it's has been now.

"Then," I hit my hand on her shoulder.

"Go and get her." I smile, she turns to me with raised eyebrows, telling me I'm a fool.

"Come on you can do it." I tell her encouraging, but I almost jump as I see Becca coming in here with a smile. Her eyes only on Olivia.

"What are you two doing in here?" She asks lightly, well asking Olivia since I feel that she doesn't look at me like at all. Now that I know, it's easy to see that Becca likes Oliva.

I look at Olivia motion her to do something. Then I step out of the kitchen, but look around the corner. Becca and Olivia are talking, but I can't hear over the sound of the music.

"What are you doing?" I jump around, watching Hannah annoyed that she scared me. Riley is holding her arm.

"Just," I steal my girl's hand in mine and lay my arms around her waist.

"Looking." I say and Hannah start to look at them as well, but don't seem to get it.

"Wait for it." I smile to her, while we are watching our two friends that are still talking, smiling and laughing.

"What is it?" Riley wonders.

"Oh, I'm sorry," I kiss her forehead.

"We are watching Becca and Olivia talking." I explain her and she nods with a smile.

"Why are we standing here?" Hannah asks very confused. I grab her arm before she can step into them.

"Olivia has been in love with Becca for years," Hannah's eyes widen.

"And Riley told me that she has noticed that Becca might be in love with her as well."

"W-What?" She asks in shock.

"Why didn't I know about this?" She says almost angry, but I just roll my eyes as I keep on looking at my two friends. Waiting impatiently for something so happen.

They still just talk to each other, but then Olivia's face softness as she stands close to Becca, who do not seem to notice as she is making her drink.

She is babbling while, Oliva is staring at her. Becca turn almost hitting her head in Oliva's. She seems surprised that she is so close to her. I smile as I see Olive lean down to the shorter girl. Cupping her cheek, very light.

Becca looks like as if she does not know what to do. The taller girl leans in so close. Then Oliva lay her lips on Becca's. I turn to Riley, feeling the happiness in me for Olive. Hannah's mouth is dropped open, which makes me snort.

"Olive just kissed Becca." I tell Riley and she smiles. I turn around again to see how it goes. Becca seems speechless, while Oliva looks very unsure. She is about to say something, but then Becca wraps her arms around her neck and to kiss her back.

"I told you!" I shout as I step into the kitchen with Riley. Becca jumps away with terror in her eyes, while Olivia looks like she wants to hit me in the face.

"Sorry," I shrink.

"Got a little excited." I excuse myself. Becca rushes out of the kitchen. Not long after Olivia follows.

"What is going on?" Riley ask next to me and I explain her what just happened.

"Stupid." Riley aims at me, and roll my eyes.

"I know," I mutter.

"I was just a little too happy." I tell and Riley snort of me as she lean on my shoulder.

"I guess we just have to let them be for now." Hannah says itching her neck, both Riley and I nod agreeing with her. Olivia is the only one that can fix this now.

"Well, I think I should get you home." I say to Riley. She nods with a smile.

"So early?" Hannah asks.

"Yeah. I don't want her parents to be angry with me." I chuckle and watch Riley wrinkle her nose.

"Okay, I see you later." She smiles before I take Riley with me back home to her.
