( NOT EDITED / PROOF - READ )

i don't quite know how to write scenes where juliette's actually driving, so if i make any mistakes this chap, please let me know! <3

Juliette's mind was drowning in unnecessary thoughts about today.

She had just finished hours of practicing the Barcelona track on the racing simulator. And it was safe to say, that she completed each lap with impressive times.

Juliette was now in her changing room, pulling her suit over her fireproofs, as she heard Charles's shuffling feet from the hall.

The Brunette sighed. As much as it was insensitive to say, Charles was not someone she wanted to see today.

She wanted to focus on her driving. It was her number one priority, and those who knew her, knew how important it was to her.

Juliette sighed, tying her suit around her waist, leaving her torso in bare fireproofs. She grabbed her helmet, before exiting the room.

She kept her nose to the air, her chin up. Ignoring Charles's burning stare, as she made her way through the hallway, Charles a couple steps behind her.

The two were then met with Mattia, who let them know about all the details they needed to know.

He also said that Juliette was going first, which did not ease her nerves at all.

"Your car's in the garage, and me and the mechanic will be in contact with you the whole time." Mattia smiled warmly, Juliette mirrored him. Before heading straight to the garage.

She felt a familiar hand on her shoulder, pulling her back. Juliette mentally cursed herself for not getting away faster.

"Juli." Charles called out, a sincere expression on his face. "Good luck."

Juliette nodded, before murmuring a, "Thanks."

Charles then frowned. He wanted more of a reaction.

Juliette zipped up her suit, before walking over the garage, and standing beside the car.

The Bianchi then wore everything else, including her helmet, and with the help of some of the employees, she sat in the car.

It was comfortable. The seat wasn't too compact, she was free to move around, yet she still had the safety of the car around her.

Juliette's nerves spiked, as they pulled her car out of the garage, and onto the track.

They placed her a few feet before the starting line, before the mechanic spoke into the radio.

"Radio check. Can you hear me?"

"Yep. I can hear you." Juliette responded, before her mechanic gave her the clear to drive-which she immediately did.

It all felt so surreal to her. It wasn't a dream, yet it felt like one. The feeling of the car soaring through the track was absolutely exhilarating.

Juliette was approaching turn 2, as her mechanic spoke into the mic. "How does it feel? Any thing wrong?"

Juliette smiled to herself. "Nope, the engines great. The seat as well. This car is incredibly put together." Juliette complimented.

"That's great to hear." The mechanic responded, before asking. "How's the steering wheel? The gear changes?"

"All great as well. I'm pretty comfortable in the car."

The mechanic nodded. "Alright, I'll let you to it, but before that, Mattia's gonna give you some instructions."

Juliette nodded. "Alright." She adjusted her grip on the steering wheel, as she zipped through turn 5.

A pause was wavered through the radio, before Mattia spoke up. "Juliette. Can you hear me?"

"Yeah. What did you need to tell me?"

"I just wanted to let you know that we need you to do at least 50 laps, we need as much data as possible."

Juliette nodded. "Alright. Let me know if you need anything else."

"Okay, I'll leave you be for now."

Juliette grinned to her self, as she continued speeding through the track. She surpsingly approaching the end of her lap, which made her feel a little giddy.

"1:16:785!" Mattia exclaimed, his eyes bulging out of his head. "Incredible Lap time!"

Juliette grinned, as Mattia gave her a side hug, congratulating her for her riveting fastest lap time.

"What place am I?" Juliette questioned, a little breathless.

"You have the third fastest lap time." Mattia responded, a positive glow on his face.

Juliette nodded, thanking the man.

Juliette had already finished driving about an hour ago, but the data had just been released now.Charles had a slower-fastest lap time than her, which definitely crushed his shitty ego.

The brunette had already changed out of her clothes and showered, and wore a pair of Ferrari sweatpants and a ferrari shirt that matches with it.

She decided to walk around the paddock a bit, to cool off her giddy-ness, if that was even a word.

Juliette hummed to herself, as she strolled around the paddock, waving at Lewis Hamilton, who was occupied by his team strategist that was talking to him.

She was then met with a familiar Aussie, who's pearly whites glimmered in the sun.

"Juli!" He exclaimed, hugging her tightly. "Danny!" She squealed.

"God, it feels like I haven't seen you in forever." Daniel sighed, an arm around her shoulders.

"I saw you at Charles's place last week-"

"Speaking of Charles." Daniel interrupted. Juliette squinted at him. "Did he send you to me?"

"...No" Daniel spoke slowly. He was obviously lying. "Maybe."

"I am not talking to him whatsoever, as long as he admits that he was the shit-head in the situation, then I may consider acknowledging his existence."

"You're a lot to handle." Daniel commented, his brows raised. Juliette rolled her eyes. "Take it or leave it."

Daniel sighed, further defending the Leclerc. "Just hear him out. He really didn't mean it."

Juliette squinted her eyes at the Aussie once more, as he pouted, attempting to convince her further.

"He should've had the balls to come up to me and tell me this in the first place, not send you."

"...Yeah well, it's not like you'd let him talk to you." Daniel pursed his lips.

Juliette shrugged. "That's true." Daniel's eyes glistened. "So...will you talk to him?"

Juliette debated to herself, before sighing, and giving in. "Fine."

"Yes!" Daniel celebrated. "Now I get my 100 bucks."

Juliette chuckled. "He paid you?" Daniel smirked cockily. "Well, my services aren't for free."

Juliette laughed, before bidding him goodbye.
