CHAPTER FOUR, good morning barcelona

REAL LIFE !

Juliette did not have any energy to wake up in the morning, especially at dawn.

The Ferrari team had contacted her manager a few days ago and let her know that they were going to fly to Barcelona for pre-season testing.

To put it in simple words, Juliette was anxious. Controversy around her signing to Ferrari had started flaring up lately, due to her debut race coming up very soon.

Juliette wasn't stupid. She knew that this signing was more controversial than any other one, since, well, she was a woman.

A young woman entering a sport that's male dominant. A wild thing to see.

But it was the twenty first century, and things were changing, and Juliette was glad.

Juli grabbed her luggage out of the trunk of the car, as the security of the airport helped her. She then entered the VIP entrance of the airport, smiling lightly at the girl at the check in.

The conversed as Juliette handed her the documents she needed to be able to pass through, Juliette was then handed her plane ticket.

Juliette walked into the waiting room, her eyes meeting an energetic Charles. Juliette huffed at the sight, already knowing he would bug her.

"I still don't understand how you're a morning person." Julie yawned. Charles grinned cheekily, his dimples evident. "I don't know how you're not a morning person."

Juliette laid her legs over his lap, as she leaned her head on the arm rest of the couch, laying there.

"Wake me up when we get called to the plane."

Charles rose a brow. "Your sleep schedule's gonna be absolutely fucked."

"So be it." Juliette shrugged. "Plus, I deserve to have some beauty sleep."

"You sure need it." Charles murmured teasingly. Juliette kicked him, resulting in a yelp escaping from his lips.

Juliette, Charles, land a few other members of the Ferrari team boarded the jet.

It wasn't a long flight, it was about an hour and a half, which Juliette was happy with.

Charles rose his brow at something that came up on his feed, as they sat comfortably in the plane. He then read it out loud.

"World Cup Winner, Kylian Mbappe admits to crushing on upcoming ferrari driver, Juliette Bianchi."

Juliette chuckled, amused. "I never expected that to be something I would hear today."

Charles spoke up. "I can't believe he said that publicly, it's definitely for attention."

Juliette rolled her eyes. "He's a teenager, I guess it's fine to have celebrity crushes, everyone does."

Juliette continued. "For example - I think that young Leonardo DiCaprio is really, really good looking."

Charles shook his head. "Finding someone attractive isn't the same as crushing on them." His jaw clenched ever so lightly.

Juliette's brows furrowed slightly. "You know what I mean...Plus, it isn't like I like him back, he's a literal teenager! Definitely too young for me."

Charles cringed. He didn't know why he was so passive when talking about that subject.

"I guess."

Charles then tilted his head at the girl, as Juli pulled a hoodie out of her bag-It was his.

"Is that my hoodie?" Charles questioned. Juliette paused, before silently shaking her head.

Charles has a ghost of a grin on his face, before squinting his eyes at her skeptically. "It's definitely mine."

"Stop interrogating me!"

Charles grinned and took the cap off his head, and passing it back to the air hostess, mumbling a thanks to her.

"I looks exquisite." Charles said in a posh accent. Juliette cringed. "Don't ever speak in that accent again."

Charles rolled his eyes. "You're just jealous that you can't do a better accent than me."

Juliette scoffed. "We both know that's not true."

Charles chuckled lightly, as the two sat in a comfortable silence, the rest of the Ferrari team members chatting amongst themselves at the front.

"By the way, we have a Video to do with the admin of the Ferrari Youtube channel." Charles perked up, reading his calendar from off his phone.

"Cool! What do we do in it?" Juliette questioned. perching her legs upon the table in front of her. Charles grinned. "An emoji challenge."

"I'm definitely beating you in that! You're such an old man." Juliette wiggled her brows. Charles rolled his eyes with a scoff. "I'm literally two years older than you."

"Exactly."

"...23 isn't old at all..." Charles furrowed his brows. Juliette snickered. "Being an old man is a state of mind."

"You're weird." Charles muttered. Juliette stuck her tongue out. "Says the old man himself."

"Hey!"
