Another Announcement + HUGE Sneak Peek

Hey guys! Soo it's actually been 6 weeks if I'm right...

and I still haven't made any progress on the next chapter 😔

As an apology, I will put not only the synopsis, but also the FIRST CHAPTER of the TWO og stories that I'm planning to publish. Pick one (a or b) and the one most picked will be the one published first :D

Here they are:

A)
Sypnosis:
Hua did not trust anyone outside outside her family (what was left of them, anyway).

That was, until she asked for the immortal's hand, and when she held it, she discovered something terrifying.

"You're just like us." she mumbled in utter disbelief and horror.

AKA Shen Jiu unknowingly adopts five children. They all become set on changing his fate.

1st Chapter (only half cuz its too long):
Hua[1] glared at the immortal as if he were a cockroach in her way, her siblings and cousins did the same, except for one lying down behind them.

"Why did you steal this merchant's medicine, child?" the immortal asked. The immortal did not move from his spot, of course he didn't, not when the vines that covered the wall started pointing dangerously at the immortal, ready to stab him at the slightest sign that he will draw closer.

Hua scoffed. "What? Would you rather I punch their wrinkles out?" she asked mockingly.

"You little-! Just because you all terrorize this town with your powers, doesn't mean you can talk to an immortal like that, you demon!" The merchant exclaimed.

At that, her cousin growled at the merchant like an animal, and the merchant backed off while still trying to look tough.

(Hmph. Spineless worm.) Hua thought triumphantly while still being attentive. It was best not to get too cocky.

"Hm. Very well." The immortal said before she blacked out.

Hua woke up and immediately felt something was wrong.

The material under her was too soft for a bed they made on the street with a rag. The smell of incense overwhelmed her sensitive nose, her hoping it didn't overwhelm the others' sensitive noses as well.

Her hair was washed, revealing its white glow.

Fearing the worst, she forced her groginess away and hastily got up.

'No, not again. Where are they? WHERE ARE THEY?!!'

"Your friends are fine, child. They're at the infirmary. Their conditions are worse than yours."

Hua whipped her head around to see the immortal she met in the town. She scowled, marring her beautiful features.

"Then why am I here instead of with them?" she asked, then it clicked. She stood on the bed and backed into a corner. She now just realized what it means when she now has her pure white hair, fine silk robes, and clean face, all things she tried to kess up to hide her beauty.

The bastard must've touched her.

"Calm down child. I will not touch you in that way. I am not the kind of immortal to indulge in vulgar things such as the joining of flesh." the immortal stated with a sneer.

Hua relaxed a bit, not because if what the man said, but because she saw something flash in his eyes. Three things, actually, she was always good at reading people.

Anger, reminiscence...

...and fear.

Hua and the immortal were staying in awkward silence. Hua was never a fan of awkward, so she broke it.

"Hand."

...

...

"Excuse me?" the immortal asked.

"Hand." Hua demanded once again. Determination evident in her eyes. She was not backing down. Ever since she left that house with the remnants if her family, she never backed down again.

"Hmm. If I give you my hand, will you trust me?" the immortal asked.

"Depends on the result." she replied.

The immortal raised an eyebrow before he sighed and reached out his hand towards her. Hua took the immortal's hand into hers.

B)
Sypnosis:
His eyes shot open. What was this? He was supposed to die. No, he was dead. Then what in the world is going on?

He tried to speak but the only sound that came out was a whimper. He tried to shout to the beast to stop this nonsense, he must've revived him and put him in a dream. But all that came out was a whail.

He realized what he was. A baby. The beast really outdid himself this time. It seems he even accessed memories he wasn't even able to remember.

This must be the time that boy finds him. But instead of a boy, he saw out of the corner of his eye an adult figure. A woman, from the look of their build. He thought that the woman must just be some passerby before that boy found him, and when he does find him, the beast will replay every single thing in his life through this dream.

Little did he know that was not the case at all.

1st Chapter:
She took the carved-out heart that the girl presented to her. She then went to the prison and found the body of her eldest cousin's child. She needed to proceed with the ritual, there was no time to cry.

Her cousin and his wife, meanwhile, were sobbing on one side of the prison. The woman wanted to get closer, to hold her child in her embrace, good thing her cousin stopped her from doing so.

"Please control yourself, Qizi[1]. If you act irrationally, Da'jie's ritual may be hindered and go horribly wrong."

"But look at him Zhangfu[2]! Look at what that monster did to him!! And even after we go back, he'll still remember!" The woman exclaimed. "Chun'er[3], my poor boy... what did he ever do to deserve such a fate?" she murmured as she hugged her husband.

"Feng'di[4] is right A'Li[5]. One wrong move and I might destroy your son's soul. Please stand back. This one will take care of everything." The woman who was standing in a circle of ice stated in a calm demeanor. But they could both see her hands flexing every time she looks at their son's mangled corpse.

At that warning, Meili[6] decided to back down. She already lost her son once, she's not willing to lose him permanently.

"Alright. But please be careful with his body Ming'jie[7]." Meili pleaded.

Minghua[8] inwardly sighed in relief. "Of course, A'Li."

Minghua carried the body towards the center of the circle. Then she took a jar from the side.

It was a jar filled with grinded bamboo. Minghua then goes on to pour it all over the circle. All while she sings a song.

A song reminiscent of how simple life used to be. Then as she's halfway finished pouring, she crescendos. The song now of how life suddenly turned from a calm pond to a ravaging sea, drowning you with everything as you try to stay afloat and survive. Then as she finishes pouring, she slows down and her voice becomes softer, lower as she sings about the sweet release of death. Yet, as you near death, you recall your regrets. If you went back in time, would you fix them?

As soon as the last speck of grinded bamboo dropped, she stopped singing. The grinded bamboo she poured were shaped in daffodils, the flower of new beginnings, of restarting.

She looked at the corpse. She grimaced.

"My nephew. If you would go back in time, would you want to change anything?" she asked the corpse. "Let us see if you're smart enough to let go, or foolish enough to hold on."

She grabs the demon lord's heart from a while ago. She walked over to the body and clenched the heart over its head, making blood pour on the oily and greasy hair of the corpse.

"समय कभी समाप्त नहीं होता। तो अंतरिक्ष है। वैसे ही प्यार है। तो हम भी देवता हैं। लेकिन भाग्य चंचल है। अस्तित्वहीन। घड़ी को उल्टा कर दो। जो था और जो नहीं था उसे वापस लाओ। और जो कुछ आने वाला है, उससे उन्हें छुड़ाओ।."[9]

Suddenly, a flash appeared in the prison.

Minghua closed her eyes gently, a slight smile on her face. Fenghua[10] and Meili blocked their view so as not to be blinded. The others outside must have sensed it by now.

Then Minghua murmured a promise.

"Even if you are blind to their treacheries against you, we will make you open your eyes."

And the world went dark.
