The chat between Hawks and me has been dead since 2 days. I sometimes tried to check on him in his agency but I was told that he didn't want to be interrupted at work. Dad has been stressed lately so I prepared coffee for him. The capturing from the League of Villains was tomorrow.

"So what is the plan for tomorrow?" I asked him, because he told me that I shouldn't get out of the house while they're capturing the League of Villains.
"Sorry (Y/N) but I can't tell you. Only pro heroes and police officers know it. The media shouldn't get information out of it or else the plan would be a huge waste." I could see the dark circles around his eyes.
"But can't I help you? Look my magic circles are almost completely healed and i trained so hard for this mission." I begged him but he stood up and walked to the front door.
"It's enough (Y/N). I said you aren't allowed to come so let it be. Your magic circles might be healed, but you don't know if it's fine to use them."
He took his tan overcoat and walked out.

I was watching TV and checked my phone every minute, waiting for a message from Hawks. I grew worried and went to his agency. The building was closed.
"Sorry (Y/N) but Hawks closed the agency for today, because he said that he was sick. He has been acting weird recently." I looked at the direction from where the voice came from and it was his sidekick Sahara. I met him once when Hawks and him were patrolling. He was quite nice to him and offered me to drink a coffee with him. He was 19 years old and had brown hair with green eyes.
"Why?"
"I don't know. He didn't reply my messages. I was actually on my way to visit him. Wanna join me?"
"Sure" it was quite strange for me to visit someone unannounced, but I was way too worried.

Sahara and I were standing in front of a big house. It looked so expensive and modern. When I was younger I always dreamt about having this kind of a house.
We were at his front door and ringed the bell. He didn't answer so we ringed again. Nothing.
"Well, I'm one of his trustworthiest sidekicks so he gave me his key. He said that I should use it for emergencies and this looks like an emergency." He chuckled and opened the door. The house looked a lot bigger inside. There were a lot of doors so we knocked and looked in each room to see if Hawks is there. Only one door was left and Sahara grabbed the doorknob. I wanted to throw up at the sight of it.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!"

Sahara's P.O.V
I didn't even look up and already heard (Y/N) screaming. My eyes turned to the direction she was looking at.
My boss was half naked laying on top the front desk woman, Bethenny. Before I could say anything (Y/N) stopped me and said:
"That's why you told me to forget everything, right? I knew it that you had someone else. I can't believe that I was in love with someone like you. You stupid asshole." She yelled. Her face was red and she quickly hid her face behind her hair. Hawks tried to walk over to her but she took a step back and ran out of the house.
"Sorry for interrupting you Hawks but you didn't respond to any of my messages so I wanted to see if you're fine." I tried to play it off. He turned around and looked at Bethenny.
"Look what you've done Bethenny! You ruined it all. You're fired. I don't want to see your damn face ever again!"
I never saw Hawks being so angry, but maybe it was some misunderstanding.
"She didn't deserve you anyways." Bethenny said before walking off.
"Sorry Sahara. It's not what you think it was. I need to catch (Y/N). See you tomorrow." He waved and flew away.

(Y/N) P.O.V
I blocked Hawks on all the social media apps that I had and ran as fast as I could, but I felt some scarlet feathers brushing against my arm. I looked up and saw Hawks. I tried to run in another direction but he grabbed my wrist. His grip was strong and I couldn't shake it off.
"Let me go you filthy garbage!"
"Please (Y/N) it was a misunderstanding. Hear me out..."
"No, just let me go" I didn't know what to do and slapped him, as hard as I could, on his cheek. His grip loosened and took steps back from him.
"Kei- no I mean Hawks please do me a favor and just forget the thing we had..."

Hawks P.O.V
I saw her beautiful (h/c) hair glowing in the sunset.
I punched the ground and didn't care that my hands was now bleeding. I couldn't believe what just happened. I wish that I hadn't opened the door for Bethenny.
Her figure was fading from my sight and tears rolled down my face.
I lost her.
