(Nightmare's pov)

"Hmm...Arlight then. Let's go to Reapertale." She says. I was surprised from what she chose but soon smiled.

"ReaperTale, an intresting choice." I said as I grabbed her hand and teleporting us in Reapertale on Life's Garden.

"Life's Garden is much more beautiful than I had expected." She says in awe. She let go of my hand and started wondering around the garden.

"De- Who are you and what are you doing in my Garden?!" I turned around and saw life. She was looking at me with hate trying to threaten me as she summoned a fire on her palm.

"The names Nightmare." I replied casually. The fire disappeared and was suddenly in thoughts.

"Nightmare where are you!? C'mon this place is really beautiful!" I heard y/n shouted in joy.

"You are with someone?" Life asked. I nodded.

"Her name's y/n and she wanted to go to this Au so, both of us came here." I replied.

"Y/n.." She repeated it as if she was familiar with it. Is she?

"Nightmare!" Y/n says as she went towards me.

"Why are you taking so lo-" She paused as she saw Life.

"Y/n? Is that really you?! You've grown so much my child." Life says in surprise. 'Wait, they knew each other!?' Y/n blinked and looked at life. She smiled brightly.

"It's so nice to see you to Mom!" She says happily as she hugged toriel.

(Y/n's pov)

While I looked around the place in awe. There is something in me that I had been in here. The familiarity. I shook it off and looked around trying to find if nightmare came already. He didn't.

"Nightmare!" I shouted as I walked back from where we were before.

"Why are you taking so lo-" I paused as I saw the goat lady. 'She's... familiar.."

°~•~° Le Flashback °~•~°

"Waaahh--oof-" A little girl fell onto a patch of Beautiful Flowers. She groaned in pain. The little girl, y/n looked around the area, she's not in her home. Realization hit her and she started to quiver from panick.

"W-where am I??" She managed to sputter out as tears started to fill her eyes. A goat lady suddenly came into view seeing the frail child on her patch of flowers. She looked at the child with pity.

"My child, what happened to you?" The goat lady asked as she stepped towards the little child.

"I-I was at home sleeping when I s-suddenly fell o-onto here." She managed to say it out.

"You don't seemed to be a lost soul so, you must've managed to come here all by yourself."

"H-how?!" The little girl asked surprised from the goat lady's answer.

"You do not know?" The lady asked bewildered. The little girl shook her head.

"N-no.." she says, her voice was shaking with fear and sadness. The goat lady felt pity on the girl, she walked towards the girl and hugged her.

"Do not worry my child, you're safe in my Garden. Nothing will harm you, I won't let anyone dare to hurt you." The goat lady says calming the child. The girl hugged back as she cried onto her. The goat lady hushed her as she rubbed circles behind her back.

"It's alright my child, just let it out."

A few minutes passed and the little girl stopped crying.

"T-thank you." She managed to say. The lady smiled at her.

"You are welcome my child."

"W-what's you're name? My name's y/n."

"My name is toriel. It is nice to meet you y/n." Toriel says. Y/n smiled at her.

"Same for you miss Toriel!" She says happily.

A few months had passed, y/n managed to get back to her home place. Y/n usually visits toriel and she called her Mom or mommy. Toriel was grateful to know that y/n had trusted her enough to become her Mother figure.

"Y/n? Is that really you!? You've grown so much my child." Life says, surprise to see me. I smiled.

"It's so nice to see you mom!" I said as I hugged her.

"You two knew each other?" Nightmare asked, confusion and shock is mixed in his tone of the voice. I broke the hug and turned around to look a nightmare as I smiled.

"Yeah! She's like my Mother figure when I was just a kid. I can't remember when though." I said.

"That is right my child, You visited me quite often." Nightmare was confused as he stared Life.

"If she did visit you often then, how does she do that??" Nightmare asked which made me thinking about it also.

"Yeah, how did I managed to go here and back from my place?"

"You can't remember how?" I shook my head for 'no'.

"Huh, well, you managed to teleport here from your place at first. But then, you did created a portal once, as a way to avoid too much usage of powers because of teleporting." She says as she tries to think

"Wait I can do that?" I asked bewildered. I noticed that nightmare is also surprised just as me. Mom nodded.

"Yes, don't you remember?" I shook my head once again.

"N-no I can't." I said.

"Wait, y/n what is your soul type or element?" Nightmare suddenly asked which made me look at him in confusion.

"'Soul type'? What is that?" I asked as I tilted my head in confusion. He sighs.

"A soul type or Soul Element is a way to distinguish if you are a healer, Fighter, Defender, the Manipulator or darkness and the Star or known as the Light." -he explains as he looks at me- "Each of those different elements plays a different role and different ability. If you are a healer then you are more likely an Earth kind of type that can heal people but cannot fight nor defend themselves. For example, the soul of kindness. It can heal people but they cannot fight or defend themselves. If you are a Fighter, you are a fire type they are good in close and far combats but they more preferred the close combat they are also good at defense but not that much. A good example of a fighter type is the Determination soul, a determination soul can also be classified as a Defense type also.
At Defender you are more likely to be a water kind of type. They are strong in defense but lack on offense at a times. But the soul of Integrity isn't like that but it is classified as a defender because they're much powerful in defense even if they're good at offense. The Manipulator —or known as Darkness— are strong at midnight or a negative energy—like me. They can manipulate shadows and such to play tricks on their victim they can shapeshift in different animals to hide which is why it is hard to find one it is considered as a rare element to have one also. The soul of Darkness, Corruption, Fear, and many more of the souls that are still not known yet are examples of the Darkness Element. Light Element or the Star is just like Darkness but opposite, they became stronger by absorbing the positive emotions and they let out a positive aura which will be infectious to make others happy —like my brother dream does. They can make illusions also to make others feel happy, they can manipulate light and they can also use their manipulation of light as an attack. Though, most light elements has a weapon in hand. Souls that are categorized as light are; Hope, Moonlight, Reverie, and many more That are still haven't found. Just like the element of Darkness, they are very rare to be spotted and to have it." He says looking at me.

"So, do you know your Soul Element?" I shook my head.

"S-sorry but I don't even know my soul is." I said.

"Well, that's easy to do." He says. And suddenly, the world around me goes black and white. My gaze landed on the heart that was colored green.

"You see that heart y/n? That heart is your 'Soul' the very culmination of the humans and the monsters being." He says. I looked at my 'soul' in awe. I looked at nightmare.

"My soul color is green so it means I'm a healer but what soul do I have?"

"Well, your soul is a much brighter shade of the soul of kindness so you may have the soul of Magnanimity. It is quite common but is also slightly rare." He says. The area suddenly has color again and my soul is no longer out.

"A healer, if y/n is a healer then how did she have those teleportation and portal powers?" Mom asked, I nodded in agreement as confusion fills in me.

"Yeah, how did I have those powers if I am categorized as a healer?" Nightmare shrugs in confusion.

"I don't know about that but I'll try and research about it." He says as I nodded.

"Well, well, well, it's nice to see the king of nightmares here in Life's Garden." I turned around and saw a sans that has a black cloak with a gaster blaster pin holding the rope on his neck. He looks.. familiar. I suppose that he's the God of Death from what I read in the book about Au's. Death suddenly looks at me and smiles casually.

"You must be y/n l/n. It's been a long time since ya came here though." He says as he floats around me as he laid himself while floating.

"You already know my name so I don't need to introduce you myself." He says nonchalantly.

"Uhmm, I guess I kinda know you. I read about you in my book about Au's."

"Is that so?" He asked eyeing me, "then, you know how my magic works already?" I nodded.
"For a simple looking lady you are, you do know some things." He says in a nonchalant voice again. I don't know if I should take that as a compliment or an Insult.

"Uhm, thanks?" I said in a questioning tone.

"My child, don't you remember Death?" Mom asked which made me confuse.

"No, why?"

"Well, he's the one who helped you train your powers with his brother papyrus." She says. I looked at her confuse.

"He, Trained me on how to use my powers?" I asked. I suddenly felt someone's arm on my right shoulder which made me look to my right seeing death.

"Yeah I did. Me and my bro taught you what we know about ma—" —Nightmare suddenly interrupted Death by pushing him away from me— "Hey don't you touch y/n! You'll kill her with your stupid deathly touch." He says in a protective manner.

"Oh don't worry about y/n she'll be fine."

"And how can you be sure about that?" Death just looks at nightmare and grins lazily.

"Very sure about it. I mean, you can see that she isn't turning to dust or withering like any thing or creature I touch." He says as he shrugs. 'He do have a point there.'

"But, how am I immune to your touch?" I asked. Death shrugs.

"I dunno, All I know is that you can touch me and papyrus which makes my bro pretty happy on that time." He says letting out a chuckle. "Anyway," —He starts— "All I know about your power is that, it isn't only healing magic that you can do." He says looking directly at me.

"You mean, her magic is more than healing? That's impossible." Nightmare says in Surprise.

"I know right. A healer having more than one power is impossible. No Healer has those kinds of ability that y/n has when I was training her magic."

"C-can you tell me what are my ability other than Teleportation, Portals, and healing."

"Ok, but why?  Can't you remember them?" Reaper asked as he looked at me confused. I shook my head.

"The thing is, I can't really remember much of my history with you or this Au. All I remembered in here was Life taking care of me until I knew how to come back to my place."

"Huh, that's odd.. have you ever known or remembered a small bit of who forced you to forget your memories with us and nightmare?" I shook my head.

"N-no.. I don't remember anyone about forcing me forget my memories. All I know is that I was left alone in the house and I have no friends with me. I was also told that my family died in an accident that's why I am alone in the house." I said.

"There must be a way to figure out who said and placed those false stories and wrong memories in you." Death says as he floats around the area trying to think of something.

"Uhm.. sorry to cut your thoughts death but can you tell me what are my abilities please."

"Oh yeah," -he says as he smiles at me- "forgot 'bout that," he chuckles, "anyway, your abilities that I know are; creating a weapon, illusion, and I guess a telekinesis also." He says.

"The other 2 abilities sounded like both light and darkness ability." I said slightly confused. Death nods.

"It is and that is the weird thing. You yourself is a Healer yet, you have an ability of both light and darkness. That is pretty powerful than the King of Nightmares himself."

"You do know that I'm here you idiotic death." Nightmare says in slight frustration.

"Whoops, sorry to offend ya bud." Reaper says in a fake apologetic tone. Nightmare only rolls his pinpricks in annoyance I suppose.

"Anyway, me and y/n should leave this area now cuz we're supposed to go and look for our forgotten memories not only for her so see ya." Nightmare took my hand and we both disappeared. We are teleported is somewhere on a grassy area though, we are on a mountain.

"Where are we?" I asked as I looked at nightmare.

"Well, we are nowhere in Life's garden That's what I can say." He said as he smiles at me.

"Then where?"

"At the Mortal Realm but we're still in ReaperTale." I looked around the area. The place is just like the overworld.

"It's just a normal place." He nods.

"It is."

"Why did you brought me here?"

"Well, I don't know where else I would bring you somewhere so, I brought us here."

"That's your reason?" I asked as crossed my arms and looked at him, all he did was nod.

"Yep." He simply said as she smiled at me.

"Then what are we gonna do in here??"

"Relax and enjoy the view of the sunset."

"That sounds nice."

"Indeed it is." He sat down near at the edge of the cliff, I followed what he did and sat right next to him. I heard him let out a sigh.

"Well, this day is quite unexpected, huh?" I nodded in agreement.

"I know right, I never thought that I'd be friends with Life and Death, and I also have a more than one ability other than healing."

"Yeah, it all sounded so.. incredulous."

"Yeah it does." A yawn escaped my lips as my eyes a getting slightly droopy.

"You tired?"

"Oh no I'm not tired. My yawning just means that I'm very awake." I sarcastically said it to him which makes him chuckle slightly.

"Heh, sorry for even asking you that." I shrugged and just continued on to watch the sunset. I felt my eyes go heavy as I stare at the beautiful sunset, when the sun was now gone I felt myself fall onto someone and I fell deep into the darkness.

(Nightmare's Pov)

While I watch the sunset go down, I felt something heavy to my left side. I turn to my side and saw the y/n is already asleep. I smiled. I used my tentacle to grab her—so she won't fall on the cliff. I stood up and carried her bridal style as we both teleported in her bedroom. I placed her on the bed and left the room so I won't wake her up.
"So," —error starts— "how was your hangout? Have you both found any memories?"

"I didn't but y/n did."

"Really? Then what did she remembered?"

"She remembered about Life as her Mother figure and that's all she remembered."

"That sounds, weird. How did she even came to ReaperTale?"

"Life says she teleported or something."

"Teleported?"

"Yeah you heard me dumba**." I said slightly irritated but I shouldn't be since that actually sounds delirious for an ordinary human.

"Okay.." he says, "anyway, I should go now so you can have your rest now. See ya." He says as he created a portal to enter and left the area.

But anyway I hope this is kind of enough as a sorry for taking so long for me to finish this. *ahem* sorry for being offline for so long but now, I'll be staying her until this book is finish(but it'll take long for me to finish it-)
