As Error and y/n walked in the throne room --not even noticing The Star Sanses walking in-- Nightmare was sitting on his throne waiting for them patiently.

"Thank you error, you may leave now." Nightmare says. He nodded and left Nightmare and y/n be.

"So, what do you wanna talk about nightmare?" She asked looking at the goopy skeleton.

"Well, I just wanted to show you this." He let out the locket that had a design of a crescent colored in black and purple. Y/n looked at it curiously. The sight of the locket reminded her of someone.

"Where did you get that? It looks beautiful." She says looking at nightmare.

"Well, I don't entirely recall any of my past memories but somehow, this locket seemed to be the only thing I can familiarize in my past." He replied looking at the locket.

"C-can I see that locket?" Y/n asked hesitantly. Nightmare looked at her and nodded.

"Ok." He handed the crescent locket to Y/n. The h/l h/c haired girl looked at it in awe and also curiosity. She examine every part of the locket and saw a quote.

(Y/n's pov)

When nightmare handed me the locket, it suddenly gave me a slight headache but ignored it. And gave me a bit of familiarity to someone. I examined every part of this locket and saw a quote. 'Stay Strong and don't forget about out promise.' The quote is somewhat familiar but, why? A sudden flash of memory came.

°~•~° Le Flashback °~•~°

"So, what are we gonna talk about?" Said the little girl. She was sitting under the unique tree.

"O-oh well, I just want you to promise me not to forget us. Especially me." The skeleton that had a golden crown and had a cresent representing him as prince said looking at her with Fear and worry. The girl only smiled at her friend trying to relax him.

"I promise and don't worry I won't and if I did well, hit me on the head if I forgot about it alright?" She says jokingly making the skeleton chuckle a little.

"Also, if you're gonna promise me not to forget you two well, Promise me not to forget about me too!" She says happily. He smiled.

"I promise I won't forget you. If I did, I don't know what to do if I had forgotten about you y/n. You are the best human I met and I don't want to forget our time together in this place." He says.

"Me too. I enjoyed you and your brothers company making me feel less lonely knowing that there's hope for me to start over and continue my life." She says happily to his friend. The skeleton's guilt started crawiling in his back but, smiled at her covering his guilt. The little girl looked at his friend.

"By the way, why did you asked me to promise you not to forget about you and your brother?"

"O-oh, well, just to reassure that we won't forget each other. That's all. I'm just worried you would forget us once you grew older." He says mumbling some of the words. He looked down at the ground. The little girl was feeling slightly guilty from asking that question.

"Nightmare," the skeleton looked at her friend as he heard his name "I got something for you to... remember me and our promises." She says as she brought out a cresent locket. "Me and my friend made it. They aren't really made well but, I hoped you like it." She says shyly making her friend smile.

"It's beautiful. Thank you y/n." He says wearing the locket. "I'll forever remember you and your kindness y/n." He says slightly blushing.

"And I'll remember you and your cuteness." She says giggling making his blush darker. The little girl once again hugged her friend.

"Remember our promise alright, nightmare?" She says. Her friend hugged back and slightly cried onto his shoulder.

"Alright, I won't y/n."

I shook my head going back into Reality. I looked at the locket once again. Tears started to form up on my eyes.

"Th-this is...the locket I gave you." I said to nightmare while I kept on looking at the locket. "The time we promised each other not to forget you or me. That is where we last saw each other before you left me without any reason." I said looking up at him my eyes are filled with tears.

I forgot Nightmare and Dream.. But, he also forgot about me, Our promise was broken long ago.. Nightmare was looking at me surprise and yet curious. I gave him the locket and let out a small smile.

"Thank you for letting me remember a bit of my past memory Nightmare. I wish I know more about my past with you and your brother dream but, I think I can't. Only some fragments of memory are slowly coming in." I said as nightmare nodded.

"Well, thank you for letting me also remember some past of mine when I was non-corrupted." He replied putting the locket in his jacket.

"Well, I should get going now. See you." I said walking out of the room.

(Dream's pov)

She shook her head as if she was lost in thought for a second. She looked at the locket once again.

I was surprised by what she said. She's Y/n. The girl who became my best friend before and so as nightmare. She was the one who made my brother happy. Nightmare was looking at y/n surprise and yet curious. She gave him the locket and let out a small smile.

How stupid was I? She was my best friend. I can't believe I forgot about her. I fell in love on her but nightmare and her had promised something when they grew up. I don't want my brother getting sad that I took her first love. I already took the attention to the people in my Au and I'm not taking another one just because it's for my happiness. Nightmare deserves her more than me. I sighed looking at ink and blue.

"Let's leave now before nightmare and his group found us." I whispered to them quietly.

"Wait but why? Don't you want to save y/n?" Ink whispered back to me. I shook my head smiling at them.

"No. She's in safe hands with my brother I don't need to save her and, I also don't need to love her. She's taken by my brother before he was corrupted." I said to them. Both of them nodded and went out of the throne room quietly. I looked at my brother one last time and left.

While were walking I suddenly bumped onto someone. 'Shoot'.

"Hey watch i-" I look up seeing killer. He seemed surprised to see me.

"H-hey killer." I stuttered. He just stared at me.

"H-hey dream." He stuttere- wait, DID HE JUST STUTTERED!? Why did he stuttered? And why isn't he calling his group? Well, I don't mind him not telling that we trespassed their place.

(Killer's pov)

While I looked around for dust --since, I need to say something important to him-- someone suddenly bumped onto me. I turned around to look at that monster.

"Hey watch i-" I stopped in my sentence as I saw who I bumped onto. It was dream! He looked at me.

"H-hey killer." He stutters out. Out of all Sanses I just got bumped onto, and that has to be Dream.. great.. though...his stuttering is actually cute! I can't lie to that.

"H-hey dream." I stuttered. Great job me now you just made him suspicious about my stuttering. Damn it me! I slightly blushed in embarrassment but quickly shook it.

"Yo Kill!" I suddenly jumped on the sudden loud voice but quickly regained my composure.

"Quick hide behind me." I whispered to dream as I turned around to see dust.

"Oh hey dust. Why are you here?"

"Of course I'm here to talk to you. I thought you said you wanna talk to me about someone." He says in a teasing tone in the end. He looked at me smiling.

"W-we can talk later you know." I said.

"Aww c'mon kill don't be like that. We're buddies right? So why can't you just tell me who you like. Now is the best time since were alone."

"I-I don't think so. Let's just talk to my room, alright dust?" I said in an almost pleading tone. He sighed.

"Alright but you better tell me what you wanted to talk about --more likely who you liked-- alright." Dust says as he walked away. I sighed in relief. I turned around and saw dream quite surprise. He looked at me and smiled shyly.

"Th-thanks for saving me back there." He says slightly blushing. Oh my God! He looked so f**king adorable when he blushes!! I slightly blushed on what I thought but quickly shook it again.

"Y-you're welcome D-dream." I said turning away from him avoiding eye contact.

"A-anyway, I think you and your friends should leave this place now or else someone may caught you alright." I said as he nodded.

"But how did you know I'm not alone?"

"Of course you wouldn't go alone to go and trespass this place. I mean, it's hard to get in here so I know you managed to get in here by the help of your friends." I said.

"You're right. Anyway we should go now see you later Killer. And," he suddenly hugged me tightly "thanks again." He says letting go of me. He looked at me for a quick second and left with his friends.

"Well now I know why." I jumped from the voice and turned around seeing dust looking at me smiling at me.

"D-dust?! How long h-have you been watching?" I merely shouted in surprise.

"Enough to notice that you have feelings for dream." He says in a teasing way making me blush. I groaned.

"Why did it have to be you." I muttered.

"Atleast it wasn't anyone or else they might think that you're betraying us." He said hearing my mutter.

"I guess." I said sighing.

"So," he placed his arm on my shoulder "where did you started having feelings for dream?"

"Do you mean 'when'?" I asked. He shook his head.

"No idiot. 'Where' did you started to have feelings for him? 'Where' have you noticed it? And then, the word 'when' will come in. 'When' have you thought about him and 'When' have you gotten enough evidence to know that you fell in love on him truly." He explained.

"W-well, I think it started where we met each other at the same time. He tried to reason about not killing monsters but I always ignore his reasons until, I didn't noticed someone attcked me but luckily dream protected me. I was shock at first but soon continued what I had to do. So, on that day, I started thinking about why did he protected me. And I've noticed it on our battle with them before. Y'know our last battle with them. I.. started missing seeing him everytime we fight. Though, I often feel worried or.. guilty when I saw him hurt whenever we fight with them. And I started thinking about him is the time we fought them for the 4th time. And the evidence part, I'm not yet sure though.." I answered truthfully.

"Well congratulations! You have a crush on Nightmare's brother." He says looking at me smiling.

"How do you even know those feelings? You haven't even fell in love on someone yet."

"Well mr. Know-it-all, I actually have a crush, and that is Blueberry Sans. So I know what is the feeling when you have a crush on someone. Especially if that someone is your enemy." Dust says in a matter-of-factly voice while looking at me.

"W-wait, you have a crush on blue!?" I asked surprised. He simply nodded with a slight purple blush erupting from his face.

"Heh, I guess were both idiots for falling in love on our enemies right?" I asked as dust nodded.

"I agree." He replied as he started to laugh a little. Though, something still bothers me, why was dream trespassing this place?

(Y/n's pov)

"So, you're saying that, nightmare and his brother, dream are very close to you. Especially nightmare?" Error asked. I nodded.

"Yeah, I never thought of that me, dream and nightmare were close before. Now, I wanna know more of my past with them." I said while I was laying on his shoulder. Both me and error were watching the stars in outertale for us to enjoy the moment. This Au never failed to relax myself.

"So, what are you gonna do then?" He asked. I shrugged.

"I don't know actually. This is the first time I had a memory coming back in me. That memory must be important if they are coming back."

"Well, why not," he sighed "I can't believe I'm saying this.." he mutters "hangout with nightmare so you can at least test it out if your memories may come back." I removed my head onto error's shoulder and looked at him.

"Do you really think that would work?" He shrugged.

"I dunno, that's why I'm telling you to hangout with nightmare so you can at least try it."

"Alright, Thanks for the tip Error." I said as I hugged him, He hugged back.

"Anything for you my sweetheart." He rested his chin on my head.

So how was it? Now that the reader know the slight part of her memory and stuff, is the story getting any better? Eh at least I tried to make the story a bit better. And Idk if the story is nearing to the end cuz I am never sure but I know how to do the ending of this story ok. I'm just not sure about the plot in the middle that's all.
