Priscilla grabbed the hot plate from the counter, cursing as she took her hand back.

"Rue, I really can't do this right now," Priscilla sighed, waving her hand in the air until it stopped burning. Carefully, she grabbed the plate again, making her way around the counter as Rue followed behind her.

"Disfruta la comida," Priscilla smiled at the couple, setting down their food before racing back to the counter as the phones continued ringing.

Priscilla went to pick it up but Rue slammed it back down, hanging up on the customer, "I'm going to keep coming back here to bother you until you stop avoiding me." "I'm not avoiding you, Rue,"

Priscilla groaned as the phone rang again, "I'm busy!"

The girl picked up the phone holding it between her cheek and her shoulder as she took the pen and pad from her apron, "La Estrella."

"Are you and Fez dating?"

"Is it official?"

"Can I come up with a ship name now?" Rue badgered her with questions but Priscilla managed to tune her out as she remained on the phone, writing down the order.

"Okay, okay, okay, that's all? Okay, about fifteenth minutes. Okay, bye. You too."

Priscilla hung up, sighing as she stared at Rue across the counter, "No, no and no!"

Priscilla ripped the order from the pad, walking into the kitchen to hang it up, Rue again following behind her.

"Rue! Te dije, mija, you can't be back here," Priscilla's mother yelled, busy helping the cooks.

"I'm sorry, Mrs. Santiago! So, can you tell me what is going on?"

Priscilla shrugged, "I don't know! We're just- taking it slow."

"Taking it slow? Taking it slow?! What doesn't that fucking mean?"

"We're hanging out, Rue, fuck! Movies and shit like that," Priscilla waved her to get out of the kitchen, as she followed her out to the front.

"Movies like Netflix and chill or movies like popcorn and soda and ice cream after?"

"Like ice cream after," Priscilla rolled her eyes, cringing as Rue began screeching, "Holy shit, y'all are dating!"

Priscilla quickly shushed her, "You need to shut up, before my mom hears and for the tenth time, we're not dating. He hasn't asked me to be his girlfriend."

"Why not?" Rue gave her a confused look.

"I don't fucking know, it's been like a month already."

"Wait-" Rue held up a finger, pointing it at her friend, "have y'all, you know?"

"Dude!"

After a couple of weeks, Priscilla quickly grew impatient. She thought a relationship was going to be way easier than it actually was, but she couldn't tell if she was even in one or not. Her and Fez had spent a lot of time together for the past two months. He never had someone to spent the money he made on, and Priscilla never had been spoiled like this before. Even though she felt dirty about the way he had earned his money, she admitted that it still felt good. In the time of two months, Fezco roughly spent about a thousand dollars on Priscilla whether if it was taking her out to dinner to buying her jewelry that simply reminded him of her. Priscilla had grown used to spending the night at Fez's, telling her parents that she was at Rue's. She had grown used to seeing him after school, when he'd pick her up to take her to work. Fez always had to park a block away, so Priscilla's mother would never see her get out of his car. Priscilla had gotten used to telling people she was seeing someone, that she had belonged to someone else. She liked the feeling of knowing she was unavailable but what bothered her that it wasn't official. She couldn't tell people she actually had a boyfriend, because honestly, she didn't. She couldn't accept offers to double date because only like four people knew who she was actually dating. It bothered Priscilla, a lot.

As her and Fez laid on the couch, she rested her head on his shoulder. She had zoned out the television, watching as his chest fell up and down as he breathed deeply. She focused on the hairs in his beard that stuck out from the rest, fighting the urge to pluck them.

She continued staring before picking her head up, "I've never met any of your friends."

Fez sighed, shaking his head, "Trust me, you don't want to meet any of my friends."

"But, you've met mine," she argued.

"Not really, though."

He was right, he never officially met any of Priscilla's friends, besides me. He only sold to them once or twice.

"So, maybe you should," Priscilla shrugged, "and I can meet yours."

Fez didn't reply, he only chuckled at her suggestion.

"What? What's so funny?" Priscilla sat up, taking her head away from him.

"Nothing, bro," he shook his head , "why you wanna meet my friends all of the sudden?"

"Just forget it," Priscilla rolled her eyes, grabbing the television remote to turn up the volume.

"Don't start that shit, dude, what is it?" "It's just annoying how we don't do stuff."

"Stuff like?" He waited for her to elaborate. Priscilla groaned, hating how clueless he was about everything, "Like couple stuff!"

"Couple stuff?" "Yes, couple stuff. Like meeting my friends, not hiding from parents, maybe officially calling me your fucking girlfriend-"

Before Fez could even respond, Ashtray came in the room slowly. The two turned their attention towards him as he stuck his head in the room, "Am I interrupting something?"

Fez looked at Priscilla, a serious look on her face before shaking his head to look at him, "Nah, what's up?"

Priscilla scoffed, standing up from the couch to leave the room.

"Rue's here."
