"So, you're coming?" Rue questioned, watching as

Priscilla rushed around to place the orders for the kitchen.

Priscilla grabbed two places, squeezing past her coworkers, "I don't know, Rue. I'm kind of busy right about now."

"Well, it's not until like ten, you get off at seven right?"

Priscilla gestured for her to wait as she brought the family their food, giving them a smile before heading back.

"It's a Friday," Priscilla reminded her friend, "I may have to stay later and why are you even thinking of going? It's a college party and we're juniors."

Rue shrugged, "Lexi and Cassie are going."

Priscilla grabbed a few more plates, balancing them all at once, "Be at my house by 10:30, okay?"

One of Priscilla's coworkers, Javier, tapped her on the shoulder. Priscilla turned around to have him taking the plates from her slowly.

He nodded towards the door, "Tienes una familia en la puerta y tu amigo tiene que irse pronto. Tu madre está mirando."

Priscilla let him have the order, grabbing menus off of the counter but before she could turn around to walk away, Rue stopped her.

"Isn't that Nate Jacobs and his family?"

Priscilla squinted, the two teenagers eyeing down the family. There stood Nate Jacobs with his mother, his father and his younger brother.

Priscilla let out a scoff, rolling her eyes, "Sadly."

Priscilla absolutely hated Nate Jacobs. He was a classic high school quarterback. He was arrogant, obnoxious, and just an asshole.

Priscilla couldn't count on her fingers how many times he has blatantly asked her to fuck, all while he had a girlfriend.

Priscilla walked over towards the door, tapping her fingernails against the menus. She faked a smile, avoiding any eye contact with Nate as she focused on his father.

Oh, she knew about his father as well. What? She's my best friend and I couldn't keep what happened to Jules to myself, I was too angry.

Priscilla pushed down the nausea rising within her, "Hi, table for four, sir?"

Ew.

Nate's father nodded, "Please." Priscilla could feel Nate burning a hole in the side of her head as she continued smiling, "Follow me."

💊

Priscilla sighed as she applied more powder to her forehead.

Rue was pacing around the room, her arms flaring up and down as she ranted. "I can't believe you guys served them! Ugh, that whole family is just- creepy, okay?"

"What did you expect me to do?" Priscilla shrugged, wiping off the excess setting powder, "I couldn't just be like 'I hate your fucking son so you can't eat here'. The staff was talking before, we heard they got kicked out of another restaurant before coming to us."

"Good," Rue crossed her arms over her chest, "You almost ready? Lexi's on her way."

"What about Cassie?" Priscilla questioned, rising from her vanity chair.

"She went with McKay, I'm guessing."

"And Jules?" Priscilla began putting on her shoes.

"Family night with her dad."

Priscilla opened her mouth to ask more questions concerning Rue and Jules but she decided not to, knowing how squirmy Rue got when she was asked about their relationship. A few moments passed before Lexi honked the car horn, telling the girls to come out.

The party wasn't really what Priscilla expected. College frat parties were a whole different standard than the normal high school parties. There were three times more people, more alcohol, more drugs. Priscilla could feel the sweat forming on the back of her neck as the three entered the frat house.

Rue grabbed Priscilla's hand, giving her a soft smile.

Priscilla returned it, leaning into her, "You sure you're okay being here?"

The curly haired girl nodded, "Yeah, Lexi's driving so I have her to keep me company."

Rue nodded towards behind Priscilla's shoulder, making the blonde turn, "Look who it is."

Her stomach dropped as she laid eyes on him.

He looked good, he always looked good.

He had an energy that always surrounded him, that made him look like the coolest guy in the world to her. Instead of a black, he had a blunt hanging out of his mouth. He wore his silver chains, heavy they hung around his neck. Priscilla could feel her lips curling into a soft smile and her fingertips vibrating.

Rue lightly nudged her friend, "Talk to him."

Priscilla nodded her head, flipping her hair over her shoulder as she took a deep breath. She began walking, pushing her way through the crowd as she kept her eyes on Fez. A million thoughts ran wild as she trued to muster up what she would say to him.

Do I start off with an apology?

Do I just say "hi"?

Priscilla got to the last couple of drunk teenagers before a female figure blocked her view. A girl, her hair bright shades of blue and pink, wrapped an arm over Fez's shoulder, dangling her body left and right.

She gave him a kiss on the cheek, taking the blunt from his lips as she grinded her hips to the beat of the music.

Priscilla felt her body go completely cold and still.

She watched as Fez snaked his arm around the girl's waist, ducking his head down into the crook of her neck, kissing the skin. Priscilla scoffed, chuckling to herself as she turned back around to Rue, who was giving her a sympathetic look.

Priscilla made her way through the crowd again, this time ruder and harsher. She walked past Rue, her shoulder brushing hers.

"Where are you going?" Rue yelled, cupping her hands over her mouth.

"To get drunk!"
