it was a rainy day and classes were in session. it's already been two days through out the week of jina's in school suspension.

jina dreaded going back to school. after everything she happened all she just wanted to do was stay in her dorm. jina began to dislike school more than everything.

jina didn't mind the stares and whispers. jina could care less of what people thought of her. what she hated was that she felt like she lost her chance of having a fresh start and new life.

the girl felt disappointed in a way that now she can't see this new move and life in a positive way.

jina was so excited about this new life and school.

now she felt like she was going to enjoy absolutely nothing.

she doesn't talk to jake and yoon anymore.

she doesn't talk to aunt luna.

and she doesn't talk to anyone at school.

jina had her head laid down on her arm as she sketched butterflies into her notebook as the astronomy teacher was giving her lesson.

the quiet boy lee heeseung kept secretly peaking at the girls notebook full of sketches. for the month heeseung would always peak at the girls notebook to look at her drawings and doodles.

heeseung enjoyed looking at her small sketches. he always noticed how she always drew butterflies. lots of them. he liked seeing how she drew them in different styles, the different species, and with different colors.

heeseungs eyes suddenly darted towards the kids that were sitting in front of him. he noticed the girls bickering and giggling as they kept looking back to eye jina down.

suddenly a girl threw a paper ball onto jina's desk. the girl slowly sat up and opened up the paper ball;

"bully"

jina crumbled the paper and threw it in her back pack with no reaction. suddenly the bell rang loudly. jina quickly got out of her seat and made her way out of the classroom.

"good after noon jina.." said the librarian.

"good after noon," replied the girl as she made her way up to the front desk, "what do i need to do today?" questioned jina as she sighed.

"today, please clean out the storage closet and organize the fiction section a and b. if you need breaks don't hesitate to take them. i'll be around if you need anything." said the librarian as she sent jina a small smile.

jina slowly nodded as she made her way to the storage room. the girl took out her phone and put on her headphones and blasted her music loudly.

for the first few minutes jina reorganized a couple of she shelves that weren't organized. jina found a couple of books that caught her eye.

"jake would like this..." whispered jina to herself as a small frown appeared on her face. the girl didn't realize how much she missed jake.

jake was always there for her when she was at her lowest. now, jina avoids him and cant even look at him in the eyes. deep down inside, she regretted what she said and how she treated jake the last time she saw him.

but, jina felt like he had to feel bad and realize his mistakes. and the same went for yoon.

half an hour passed, and jina finished organizing and dusting a couple of the shelves. the girl sighed tiredly as she made her way out of the storage closet and grabbed her things making her way over to the fiction section of the library.

"okay...section...a...and..b," mumbled jina to herself as she eyed the shelf signs, "okay...let's get started...down here.." said jina to herself as she slowly kneeled down to the bottom of the book shelf.

jina began to start organizing the shelves of books. students would walk by eyeing her down. some giggled at the sight of her and some frowned in a sad but disappointed way.

many people viewed the fight between wonyoung and jina differently. many people praised jina for beating up wonyoung since people did know wonyoung being a bully and a very heartless person.
some people were on wonyoungs side saying that jina's the bully and that she shouldn't have transferred to fallen angel academy.

as jina was organizing a shelf she was suddenly caught by surprise when books from behind her fell and slammed on the floor loudly. jina took her headphones off and looked behind her quickly.

there she saw girls giggling from behind the shelf, "whoops.." teased a girl as she quickly left laughing away with her friends.

jina's jaw clenched. she felt like punching those girls in the face so bad. she felt her hand clenching and throat tightening. her breathing started to become uncontrollable.

the girl slowly kneeled down trying to regulate her breathing. jina slowly picked up the books and placed them back in order and neatly.

from a far heeseung was sitting at a table. the boy observed the whole thing.

"fucking bitches..." mumbled heeseung under his breath. he continued sketching on the tiny corner of his notebook while taking glances of jina putting away and organizing the books.

once heeseung finished his small sketch he tore out the corner and began to slowly collect his things. he turned and suddenly his heart dropped seeing sunghoon talking to jina.

he was holding a couple of books in his hand facing the girl. but jina was facing the book shelf organizing the shelf.

"you know, jake is really worried...he misses you a lot." said sunghoon.

jina slightly frowned, "if he did he would've told me himself. not send his friend." she responded.

"oh..so..you want him to go up to you...even though...nothing was his fault?" questioned sunghoon as he raised an eyebrow.

jina's jaw clenched, "don't say anything if you don't know the whole story. now leave before i smack the shit out of you. have a lovely day." replied the girl calmly.

sunghoon nodded awkwardly as he walked backwards and exited the section jina was in. jina began to mumble curse words under her breath feeling frustrated with the situation.

jina kneeled down to the ground again to fix the bottom shelf. as soon as she began to fix the shelf suddenly a piece of paper fell next to her. jina looked up too late not being able to see who threw her the piece of paper.

the girl grabbed the folded piece of paper and opened it up. there jina saw a beautiful drawing of a butterfly. a small smile grew on her face remembering the style of the butterfly.

jina folded the paper back up and stuffed it in her pocket.

later that day, jina was in a class room cleaning up the desks and boards. her music blasted loudly through her headphones.

jina was about to pick up the broom when suddenly she saw her teacher trying to catch her attention, "oh.." mumbled the girl under her breath as she took her head phones off.

"i think that's enough for today miss jina, thank you." said the teacher.

"okay, thank you. have a good night." said jina as she put away the broom and exited the classroom.

it was night time and the halls were quite empty and dark. jina didn't mind the atmosphere. the girl made her way out of the jade hall. she made her way towards professor minhyuks office to turn in her reports of what she's done through out the day.

the girl was about knock when suddenly she heard muffled voices. jina leaned closer to the door to listen clearly of what was going on.

"b-but..are....are you sure?" stuttered the voice of choi soobin.

"my son, im sure it'll go well. don't worry so much. i promise, i wont let anything happen to you. the ceremony will go great." replied professor minhyuk.

"okay.." said soobin followed by a sniffle. suddenly footsteps became louder and louder. jina's eyes widened as she quickly made her way to a hallway to hide to make it look like she wasn't eavesdropping.

she heard the office door open and close. jina waited a couple of seconds and began to walk. as soon as she turned the corner she was face to face with soobin.

his eyes were red and puffy and a tear fell out of his eye. soobin looked like he wanted to say something but he took in a deep breath, looked at the ground, and walked away.

jina looked back and saw soobin wiping away tears while walking. even though soobin was kind of a prick to her, deep down jina felt sorry for soobin even though she didn't understand the situation.

"h-hey...are you okay?" questioned jina.

soobin suddenly stopped in his tracks and slowly turned around. he slowly walked closer to the girl while wiping away his tears.

"i-im okay...thanks for asking..." replied soobin in a shaky voice.

"o-oh..okay..just..wanted to know..but are you sure?" questioned jina awkwardly due to not expecting to have a conversation with a boy who would sometimes pick on her.

soobin opened his mouth wanting to form words but he couldn't. more and more tears spilled out of his eyes, "i-...i-"

suddenly a deep voice echoed through the hall, "what's going on here?"

soobins breath hitched and his eyes widened. jina saw pure fear on soobins face. the girl slowly turned and saw professor minhyuk making his way towards them.

"i- i was just going to come by to show you what i've done today and i saw...soobin crying..so i'm just asking if he's okay.." said jina in a nervous tone.

professor minhyuk nodded, "ohh, okay, yeah. soobins been a bit stressed about a ceremony he has to attend. but, jina, thank you so much for checking in on him."

soobin slowly nodded, "mhm." he hummed, "yeah..thanks jina...anyways, i'll get going now."

soobin quickly left the hall and it was just the professor and jina. professor minhyuk awkwardly coughed, "alright, let's get to my office." he said as he began to walk to his office.

jina followed along and entered the man's office. she took a seat on a chair and waited for him to get started.

"alright, let me see your planner.." sighed professor minhyuk. jina handed over the small booklet. as professor minhyuk observed the pages jina observed his office.

she eyed the interior of the room and the different types of artifacts and paintings he had on display. suddenly a certain cane caught jina's eye. it was long in the color silver and the top had the design of angel wings. in between the wings there was an empty space as if somethings were supposed to fill it there.

"alright jina, your doing well. you've been behaving well and your grades are still spectacular. just a couple more days and your in school suspension will be done." explained professor minhyuk as he began throwing things down on his computer.

jina nodded awkwardly as she took her eyes off the cane.

"i don't know how sensitive you are..um..towards this kind of topic but...how come you have a...criminal record?" questioned professor minhyuk out of the blue.

jina was suddenly caught off guard, "oh...um..well...after my mom and dad...passed...uh i kind of went down...mentally..i-it was a horrible time. but, i got over it.." explained the girl calmly.

"hm.." hummed professor minhyuk, "well, im..very sorry about your parents.."

jina raised an eyebrow remembering aunt luna explaining to her how professor minhyuk and dad never really go along.

"odd thing for you to say...since you...didnt get along with my dad.." said jina as she slightly tilted her head.

minhyuks face scrunched in confusion, "i mean, there were times here and there when we didn't get along...when we were younger obviously. but as we for older we both became more mature. i never had a problem with your dad though. he was a...great man."

jina blinked a couple of times. she didn't know what to think.

"did aunt luna lie to me? professor minhyuk has been nice to me...i'm so confused.." said jina in her head.

"oh..i-i don't know...dad..never really mentioned you...or his family." said jina as she fiddled with her hands.

"maybe someday i can tell you about our family." requested professor minhyuk with a small shrug and smile.

"really?" questioned jina as her face slightly lit up.

"of course, it's kind of a disgrace hearing that my niece never really knows about her family." said minhyuk with a small sigh.

jina slightly chuckled, "okay well...i'll start heading to my dorm...have a good night, professor."

professor minhyuk nodded and sent the girl a small smile, "good night jina. please come in tomorrow at five thirty pm."

jina nodded and exited the office. she made her way out of the school buildings and toward the dorm buildings.

jina entered her dorm and let out a long sigh. she went into her room and began to get herself ready for bed. jina stuffed her hands in her pocket and suddenly her eyes widened feeling a piece of paper.

the girl took out the folded paper and unfolded it and there revealed the beautiful butterfly sketch. jina slightly smiled as she put the butterfly drawing in her old fashioned stop watch.

jina later laid in bed and sighed. heeseung suddenly popped in her mind. deep down she knows that the butterfly drawing belongs to him. jina realized that this was a way to start a conversation with him. to show him that he dropped his drawing.

the girls eyes began to slowly close and she fell into a deep sleep...
