maybe something is happening

maybe don't read this one if your innocent? stuff gets intense.

Scott had only known Hope for a matter of days, but he already knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.

When they first met she was, to be truthful, a stone cold bitch, but after he helped smooth things over with her father, her walls began to come down and he got a peek at the woman behind the hard mask.

Then everything with Darren Cross happened, and when Hope needed him, he stepped up to the challenge. Luckily they won the fight, and Scott could see his daughter again. All thanks to Hank Pym, who got shot in the process.

"You look really beautiful you know." Scott said, once he had shut the door behind him and they were out of Hank's earshot. He had spent the morning with him, explaining in incredible detail all that he remembered about the quantum realm.

Hope laughed and blushed slightly. Men usually weren't intrested in her like that. Her cold, business woman attitude usually scared them off. But not Scott. He ripped down her walls as though they were made of tissue paper and barged his way into her heart. As much as she hated to admit it, she had a crush on him.

On seeing her cute little smile and adorable blush, Scott realised he couldn't take it anymore, so pulled her towards him and kissed her lips.

She was shocked of course, but didn't mind his lips on hers in the slightest. She liked him a lot more than shed care to admit.

But of course, Dr Pym had to ruin the moment by catching them red handed.

"When did this happen? He asked. It was impossible to tell wet her he was amused at the fact they had been caught so easily or angry that Scott had made a move on his daughter.

"Nothing's happening." Hope replied, shaking her head in embarrassment. It usually took her months to get close to someone, but she'd known Scott for a matter of days and he already made her feel like the luckiest girl in the world.

That was all three weeks ago.

Hope decided the best way to combat her embarrassment was to work as hard as humanly possible, working her way up Pym Technologies and once again becoming CEO of the company.

Scott sat at home all day, denying Luis' requests for him to join him, Dave and Kurt at gambling, bowling or just going out in general. All day every day for two weeks Scott sat in his puddle of self pity, thinking about 'the one that got away'.

"You do realise that at some point you're going to have to talk to him?" Hank said to Hope, nearly three weeks after the kiss.

"Hm?" Hope replied, pretending to be very intrested in some spreadsheets on weekly statistics.

Hank gently put his hand on hers and forced her to look into his eyes.

"Talk to Scott, Hope. You can't go on like this."

Hope had been sitting in her car for 45 minutes outside Scottish apartment block before finally finding the courage to go knock on the door. When she finally did, a very disgruntled looking Scott opened the door.

"Hope? What are you doing here?" he asked, trying get to hide the delight and excitement in his voice. The last time he saw Hope was 24 days and 6 hours ago (not that he's countung).

"We need to talk."

Wow, those dreaded words. Scott had never felt so uncomfortable in his life. And hed spent three years in jail and two under house arrest. He held the door open for Hope and she wandered into his small, dingy apartment.

This conversation was not going to go well.

"I wasn't expecting anyone so this place is dirtier than a garbage chute." He said quickly, noticing how Hope eyed the place up. "The rest of the guys went to the casino so I was just gonna sit by myself and watch Netflix all night."

"It's fine." She replied. "But we really do need to talk. About us. About whatever this is, going on between us."

"fuck this." Scott murmured under his breath, before surging forward and kissed her lips. She instantly kissed him back, relieved that he still felt that way about her.

"Hey, this doesn't change anything, we still need to have this talk." Hope said, pushing Scott away gently and sitting down on his threadbare sofa.

He flops down next to her and sighs deeply.

"What is there to talk about?" He asks, sounding bored. As far as he was concerned, he liked Hope and Hope liked him. Then again, neither of the had actually ever said this, and they had been avoiding each other for a month.

"I just want to know what your feelings are towards me." Hope said truthfully,  looking down at her lap. "Because I really like you Scott, not because you're the ant man but because you're smart and funny and kind. And because you helped me get closer to my mom."

Scott furrowed his eyebrows. All he had done was go into the quantum realm and then come back out of if again, and now Hope loves him? Gee, he should've done that weeks ago!

It took Scott a minute to realise that Hope was crying,  her usually bright hazel eyes pink and swollen with tears.

"Hey hey, don't cry!" Scott said, in the most sympathetic voice he could muster. "Your mom's going to be fine. You're going to be fine.

"Thank you." she replied, smiling slightly. Scott words made her feel more hopeful. He pulled her in for a hug, and they just stayed like that for a while, just in each others arms.

Eventually their hugging turned into kissing, soft at first, gentle and comforting a way of making sure they were still both here together, but the intense need for closeness quickly took over, the pressure increasing.

Scott put his hands in her hair and began walking her backwards into the living room. Once her legs hit the sofa and she fell back onto it, pulling him down on top of her. She lifted her head up and reclaims his mouth. Suddenly everything is a blur.

He pulls her shirt over her head and unhook her bra, as she rolls him over and straddles him, continuing to kiss him sloppily as she tugs his pants and boxers off. He breaks contact for a moment to shrug them off, but its barely a second before she reclaims his lips.
