Star and I always have the best times together. Now it's about 2 weeks since the last time I took her out and this time I figured a movie date would be fun. But the only things playing were... horror movies. And one kids movie. Star likes horror movies and I don't want her to judge me for wanting to see the kids one instead. So I booked two tickets to see the 'little nightmares movie' (it doesn't exist but I LOVE that game. Inside joke: jumping on dead rats! Ok back to the story) this movie seemed the least scary. Then I texted star.

Gray the softie (stars nickname for gray): hey wanna go see a horror movie tonight? My treat.

The light of the dark (grays nickname for star): sure! Don't you hate scary stuff?

Gray the softie: no I like horror stuff

The light of the dark: ok meet you there at....

Gray the softie: 10

The light of the dark: ok

Yay! She accepted it. Now I need to get ready and go cause it's already 8 at night.

*timeskip*

We got to the theatre and I showed them the tickets on my phone. And they let us in. We got some popcorn and chocolate and our favourite drinks. Except I brought my own since I don't drink Sodas. I brought chocolate milk. Probably why people call me a kid. But whateverrrr.
We sat down and began watching the movie. Already at the beginning the creatures began to freak me out. I was trying my best not to flip out but by the middle of the movie.... welll.......

Star pov:
It was the middle of the movie. Not the scariest movie but definitely scary. I wasn't scared but. I had someone clinging on my arm with their face in the seat.
"Ummm Gray are you ok?" I whisper
"Yes just not watching anymore"
"Do you want to leave?..." I ask actually worried about him.
"No no no I wanted to watch a movie with you and the only other one is a kids movie" he whisper yelled. I decided to just pick him up and take him right out of there.
"Gray idc if you wanted to impress me by watching a horror movie I care about you having a good night sleep more then you not being scared of a movie meant to scare people" I said to him
"But I just wanted us to have fun... I wanted to be a good boyfriend and not a... weak asshole like me" gray said and I sighed pulling him to the front of the movie theatre where I paid for the 11 o'clock show for the kids movie. The LEGO movie2. I say that sounds like a good enough movie.
"Are you sure star? This was meant to be my treat"
"I'm sure. Besides, you get to pay for more popcorn" I smile and he smiles back as we go into the theatre for the LEGO movie2 and we have a great time.

Then we both head to his house and we snuggle in his bed this time. Best day ever in my opinion.
