The town went mad and for a reason you wouldn't think. Nightmare, a once bullied monster, came to do his singing performance. It excited many from every place. Well, not everyone was excited to meet him.

Solar and Delusion, the two most popular monsters in the town, had bored expressions. Their eyes were half lidded and a frown was seen on their face. They hated everything that the singer did. He possessed negativity! That was what tipped them off even more! Negativity wasn't supposed to exist! Though, they couldn't deny that he looked good.

" Ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to the show of our favorite singer: NIGHTMARE!" Smoke appeared on the stage and fireworks went off." Hello ladies and gentlemen, I hope you are having fun." The crowd cheered and whisled in response." Before we start, I would like to see Solar and Delusion after this show." Millions gasped at the names that left his mouth.

The two positive beings perked up as their names left Nightmare's mouth on the TV." Ugh, we'll just go there to see what he wants."" I agree." After that, he began singing, singing like no one was watching him. It was incredible to the two skeletons to see him sing with such grace.

The performance was over and the two skeletons stood outside of the singer's room, waiting for him to come to them and get it over with. Though, they were unaware that a tar covered skeleton was watching them, watching their every move.

Nightmare wasn't the same singer he was when he preformed. No, he was taller and covered in goop. He didn't know why he liked them nor why his weaker self couldn't just straight up take them in but, he would help him like the other half of Nightmare he is. He moved stealthily to his prey, allowing himself to get a bit taller before he striked." What the-?!/Eh?!" They yelped before a dark, warm and wet cavern covered their heads. Nightmare shrunk himself to his normal height and his prey as small as mice, allowing them to slip in his maw and into his awaiting throat." I TOLS YOU THAT IT'S A TRAP!" The muffled screams of Delusion was heard as he and Solar slid down his throat and towards his stomach.

They deposited into his stomach, causing Nightmare to grin. He'll let his weak self figure it out. He and the rest of the crew were going to another city anyway. Though, his thoughts were interrupted by struggling and angry cursing.

The fake flesh around Delusion and Solar was goopy and, well, had the function of a stomach. Though, the only difference was that there was no acid.

They tired themselves out, thoughts fuzzy as they allowed darkness to consume them.

They stopped struggling but, he didn't care. He just knew that they would all get along and, eventually, become lovers. He saw the glint in their sockets, a glint known as love... He'll accept them, deeming them trustworthy to be (passive) Nightmare's lovers. But, for now, he needed to rest.
