You were an au traveler, you had seen so many different aus,  the bad and good ones. Though dreamtale was always your favorite, it was peaceful... well until the apple incident... after that, everything fell apart. Nightmare became corrupted,  Dream turned to stone for hundreds of years.  It was terrible. You were immortal though, you would never die, so every month you would come and check on Dream to see if anything had changed.  

For hundreds of years,  every month you would return to dreamtale.

One day you arrived at dreamtale and went to the spot where Dreams statue was supposed to be. 

Supposed to be.

Supposed. 

Dreams statue was no longer there. 

You quickly looked everywhere, your mind running wild. 

It was gone.

Trying to control your breathing and suppress your panic you looked around dreamtale,  passing by the stump of the once tree of feelings that was now destroyed because of Nightmare.  Ah yes, Nightmare. You had been keeping track of him and his little band of...misfits as you liked to call them. Did Nightmare have something to do with this? What if he had- No y/n, you told yourself you wouldn't think negatively. 

Wait.

Something popped into your head, you thought of the other au traveler or the so called "Protector of aus"

What if he had something to do with this? He knew what went on in most aus, what if he knew what happened to Dreams statue?  Maybe you could pay him a visit. Yes, that was a good idea. 

Time to pay a little visit to the Protector of aus...

A/n:  Hey guys,  sorry for my absence,  I've been trying to enjoy my winter break and I also have a Quotev account that I've been trying to get sorted out.  Wattpad also wasn't working properly so I had to shut it down for a bit. But I'll try to update a bit more before my school starts up again.
