Hiiiiii I'm back people, today's oneshot was requested by LavenderKK! 

Thank you for the request! Hopefully I portrayed this holiday/festival right, if not I apologize, I tried to research some info on this day but I'm not sure if it was the right info. 

In your request you didn't say if you wanted the reader to be a human or skeleton,  so I just made you a skeleton. Hopefully that's alright with you! 

Now on to the chapter and I hope you enjoy!

(Your pov)

I curled deeper into the soft covers of my bed, yes it may be time to get up but it's so warm. 

Yes I may be a skeleton but that doesn't mean that I don't feel warmth. 

Well that warm feeling didn't last very long, soon enough my blanket was yanked from me and I tumbled out of bed. Groggily I opened my eyes(?) to see my boyfriend,  Cross.  We have been dating for a while now, honestly in the start it was a bit hard to get Killer to accept the fact that we were dating.  But in the end he was okay with it. 

"Wha-" I started to question why he had woken me up but before I could finish he quickly interrupted me "Y/n, love, have you forgotten what today is!?" I tilted my skull at him, signaling that I had no freaking idea what he was talking about. He sighed and walked over to our wall, grabbing the calendar off the wall he shoved it in front of me and pointed out that today was the 27th of January.... and..... "OH SHIT THATS TODAY?!" I yelled after seeing what today was. I had completely forgotten about Chocolate Cake Day, which was celebrated on the 27th of January. 

Me and Cross have been counting down the days until today, I cannot believe I forgot.

Quickly jumping up off the floor I bolted to my closet to grab clothes for the special day.

When I came out of the bathroom Cross was standing in the hall waiting for me, together we walked down the stairs and into the kitchen.  After the first couple of months we were dating I convinced Killer to let me and Cross get our own place. After a bit of pleading he agreed & me and Cross got our own small house. 

It's been so long.

Cross and I took the shortcut into town and went to visit our local bakery that made the best chocolate cake ever! When we entered the employee greeted us and asked us if we were celebrating chocolate cake day, we all chatted a bit with them and when we bought our order we gave them a extra tip for their amazing cake.

For the rest of the day Cross and I went around checking out different chocolate cake recipes and seeing which ones we liked best. Just before noon we gave the other aus a visit and dropped off a cake that we picked made. At sunset when we arrived home we decided to watch a movie and eat some cake. 

That night we fell asleep cuddling in each other's arms on the couch...

"Love you darling" "Love you too Cross" 

"Happy 1 year anniversary...."
