(Snahji)

Snazzy sighed, waving the flashlight around in the dark night. His brother's had chickened out and ran home, completely terrified. There was a rumor that a creature with wings and talons haunted the forest, killing any who dared to enter. Of course, Snazzy wanted to prove them wrong, so he swore he'd last a night in the woods, totally fine. His brothers insisted that they go with him, but, look where that got them; scared shitless and at home. Scardey cats. Snazzy thought, rolling his eyes at his brothers insecurities.

He stepped on a twig, a snap sounding through the near empty and lonely woods. He jumped slightly as he heard a low growl. He knew there were deer, and where there were deer, there were wolves. It was a sport that men went out and tried to see how many wolves they could catch, causing an up rising in the deer population. Fear set in as he realized that whatever it was, it was in front of him. But it wasn't on all fours. It was on two legs, a glowing eye staring directly at him. He heard the fluttering of wings, his soul pounding against his ribcage.

Was this it? Was that the creature? Cause if it was, he was almost positive he wasn't making it out alive. It had a reputation for killing, murdering, hanging, etc. It stepped into the moonlight, and Snazzy couldn't help but gaze in awe at it's beauty and features, it's slick movements.

It had no claws, no talons, but it certainly had wings. 14ft long, 5ft wide, glistening, black wings. A tail whipped back and forth, curling and uncurling. They stood there eyes locked at them Snazzy saw it. It only had one eye. He took a step forward to exaim it. It stepped back, fear cascading over it as it's wings folded around it protectively. He stopped mid step. It was afraid.

"Uh, h-h-" Snazzy stoped, clearing his throat. He smiled kindly at her, standing still and holding out his hand." Hi. I'm Snazzy GZ."

"Snazzy...?" I- she repeated, looking warily at his hand. He nodded in confirmation. She slowly, and cautiously stepped forward, eye darting around for some kind of ambush or attack or trap. She carefully reached a hand out, barely touching his before quickly retreating. When she realized nothing happened, she reached out again. This time, she smoothly slid her hand into his, shaking it lightly. She smiled slightly at this." My name is Xahji."

"Why do you live in the forest?" Snazzy asked, moving his hand away from hers. She looked at him sadly, the moonlight casting a shadow down on the Earth below. Her hand hovered over her closed eyes for a moment.

"I was born here. I've lived here all my life." She told him, looking at them moon, her top fangs glistening in the moonlight." I can't bring myself to leave. No matter what you humans do to me, or my forest."

"Well, I'm supposed to stay the night here." Snazzy said, shrugged. Xahji giggled, using her hand to cover her mouth. She told him he could stay with her.

Snazzy, for some odd reason, always went back to see her. In that time, he'd managed to fall for her. She was curious and sweet, with a sense of humor and a habit of being sarcastic. He wanted to keep her safe, but, eventually, his brothers and friends started to notice his frequent disappearances. They began to question him.

"Where do you keep going?" Swifty asked, crossed arms. Him and Siren had caught him about to leave again. Snazzy rolled his eyes, looking at them with a bored expression.

"Um, out? Is that so wrong?" Snazzy snapped, glaring at his brother. Swifty gritted his teeth angrily.

"We're just worried!" Siren intervened, trying to make sure his brothers didn't fight. He looked at Snazzy with concern." You keep leaving. And we don't know where you're going or what you're doing!"

"You don't need to." Snazzy growled, slamming the door shut after he walked out. Swifty stormed up to his room, growling under his breath. Siren sighed in defeat, staring at the ground.

Snazzy arrived at the usual meet up, only to see Xahji standing there, looking down at flower. He tapped her shoulder, making her look up at him innocently. And he couldn't take it anymore.

He smashed his lips on hers, pushing her up against the tree and intertwining their fingers. She squeaked, giving him an opportunity to slid his tongue into her mouth. She heasitatly kissed back, closing her eyes and twirling her tongue around with his. He slipped his hands to grab her wrists, pinning her to the tree. He pulled away, panting heavily.

"Snazzy, stop." She breathed as he pressed his lips against hers again. She ran her finger along his chest delicately." This isn't right."

"Sh, I know." He murmered, kissing down he neck." I know."

"We shouldn't do this." She moaned quietly.

"I know." He licked her neck.

"We should stop." She told him, holding his shoulders tightly.

"We're not." He said.
