Schindler's List (end scene)

A few moments after Saber left...

"So, what now? Should we do something or should we just wait." Roman said, drinking a bottle of water.

"No, I think its time to brief you on what you'll be watching next. Its a bit of a sensitive subject on earth..." King responds fiddling with the screen of the theater.

"What exactly are we going to watch?" Blake asked with a bit of anxiety. After all, when have Saber and King ever briefed them on a subject?

"Right. As you all know Remnant had what you call the Faunus Rights Revolution, an armed revolt against a plan to centralize and deport every faunus on tiny Menagerie... Right?" King began, looking at his audience to gauge any reactions.

"Yes, I remember that. The plan was to centralize all faunus in Menagerie as if we were a bunch of cattle to be herded off to die..." Ghira gritted his teeth at the mention of the deportations.

"Us on earth, had something similar and in my opinion ten times more horrifying. We called it the Holocaust or the Shoah, it was the genocide of European Jews during World War 2. It was carried out from 1941-1945, where Nazi Germany and its collaborators systematically killed some six million jews across German-occupied Europe, through various means ranging from; mass shootings, forced labor in concentration camps, and the most famous of which was in gas chambers in the extermination camps like Auschwitz." King spoke, as images from the Holocaust showed up simultaneously on screen, to the abject horror of many people in the audience.

"How- Why? What?" Kali had sputtered out in her horrified state.

"The same reason, most humans hate faunus I'm afraid... Anger, mostly..." King responded calmly.

"Now, if you'll allow me to continue... As I've mentioned before, many Jews were sent to do forced labor in concentration camps, and the Nazi's had allowed the purchase of Jewish and other what they considered inferior races in concentration camps to private business owners. One of which was Nazi party member and industrialist Weiss Schnee." King revealed showing an image of Weiss and her acquired factory in Krakow.

"I-I think I'm gonna be sick!" Weiss said suddenly upon hearing her name as King continued to explain.

"Oum, I'm a criminal that has possibly dealt with all kinds of business but that? I don't think anyone could stomach looking at that and not do anything..." Roman let out with a disgusted huff.

"And you'd be right Roman. Weiss Schnee, of course is considered a hero in all respects, for her role in saving her workers from certain death as Nazi Germany  began closing down its eastern concentration camps. And with the help of a Jewish ghetto officer, Torchwick's assistant would go on and list around 1,200 jews that had travelled in Brünnlitz in October
1944. She would go on to spend most of her fortune in bribing SS officials to protect her workers until the end of the Second World War." King summarizes the story. By the end of King's brief, some in the audience were quite frankly, tearing up.

"While I do love a good story time, I think its much better for them to see for themselves, no?" Saber reappears in the doorway, holding a blood red crystal and a black one. Striding into the screens slot, she pushes black crystal starting the recording.

"By all means, Ms. Saber I think everyone might find it enlightening..." Ozpin said, subtly looking at the White Fang members and the Atlesians in the room.

The screen opens up, revealing a baton being crafted by an unknown person in a factory.

"As soon as this occurs, I want that cloth distributed to the workers, two and a half meter each. Also, each person is to get a bottle of vodka, they won't drink it they know its value. Likewise those Egyptian cigarettes we organized." Weiss told Blake as she is escorted outside of the camp.

"It will be done. Everything you ask." Blake replies, as they pass through the workers and approach Weiss's car.

"Why does the location feel so familiar?" Weiss wondered as she took in the sight onscreen.

"It seems familiar, because it looks a lot like an SDC Dust Plant in the north..." Adam growled at the heiress, memories of the SDC Mines resurfacing.

'It does, doesn't it... Perhaps an investigation into the SDC's and others malpractices should be looked into.' Ironwood makes a mental note of this.

As Weiss prepares to depart, Ilia steps up and gives Weiss a letter.

"We've written a letter, trying to explain things, in case you were captured. Every worker signed it." Ilia smiles holding the letter in front of Weiss.

"Every worker!? That's incredible..." Pyrrha said with her mouth wide open.

"All 1,200 workers had signed something to prive her innocence, shows how much gratitude they have for Weiss, huh?" Willow said to her eldest.

"Indeed. After all she did save their lives, even if she didn't have to." Winter smiled proudly at her sister and the one onscreen.

"Yes, doing something even if you didn't have to, for the greater good is the definition of a hero in my opinion." Saber said to everyone.

Weiss takes the letter and examines it before passing it on to her husband.

"Thank you..." She replied in earnest. As Blake steps infront of her and presents her a ring.

Examining the ring, Weiss looks at Blake curious to whats inscribed in it.

"That's Hebrew, from the Talmund. It says 'He who saves one life, saves the world entire'." Blake tells the woman, causing Weiss to drop the ring stunned.

"That's... A very good saying." Blake says, starting to tear up.

"Indeed Ms. Belladonna, in fact its something all of us should live by." Ozpin says, earning a nod from their two hosts.

And just as quickly as the ring drops, Weiss frantically searches for it before picking it up and slowly wearing it on her finger.

Offering her hand to Blake, the two shake their hands, before Weiss speaks up quietly in a daze

"I could have got more out..."

"I could have got more..." Making Blake shake her head silently.

"If I just... I could have got more..." Weiss repeats in her dazed state.

"I don't think you could have done anymore... You've done enough..." Kali shakes her head in pity, followed by murmurs of acknowledgement from the rest of the faunus including Adam. Blake finally pulls the crying heiress to her in an attempt to comfort her.

"Weiss there are eleven hundred people, who are alive because of you, look at them!" Blake reasons to the businesswoman who was looking down in regret.

"If I had made more money. Hehe. I- I threw away so much money. You have no idea, if I just-" Weiss cries.

"There will be generations because of what you did." Blake cuts her off.

"I didn't do enough..." She replies, shaking her head.

"You did so much." Blake assures her to no avail, as she watches Weiss approach her car.

The audience find themselves crying or close to crying, watching Blake and Weiss's exchange in the screen.

Blake finds her tears falling as she watched their counterparts exchange, while she soothes the crying heiress in her arms.

"I can't believe I'm crying to this again..." Saber mutters as she wipes a tear from her eyes.

"This car... Torchwick would have bought this car. Why did I keep this car?" Weiss said lamenting on the things she could have done.

"M-Me? Why am I suddenly mentioned." Roman said quickly wiping his tear stained cheek.

"Oh, right... Roman was the commander of the concentration camp in Krakow where Weiss had bought her workers, before Weiss relocated her factory to Brünnlitz." King briefly explained, much to the distaste of Roman after hearing this information.

"I can't believe my counterpart doesn't even have standards... Working for an organization like that." Roman mutter to no one in particular.

"This pin. Two people, this is gold two more people. They would've given me two for it, atleast one... It would have given me one, one more. One more person... A person, Blake. For this." Weiss tears up, nearly falling onto Blake.

"I... Could've got... One more person! And I didn't!" Weiss cried hysterically on Blake's shoulder.

After a few more moments she and her husband stepped onto the car dressed in prison clothes as they drove away, revealing the thousands of people she had saved as they pass by.

••••••••••

Saber stands up and looks at her audience with an unreadable expression.

"So? Thoughts anyone?" She asked with slight smile.

"There has... Been, a few things that brought about a few buried memories. But it was quickly overtaken by content as we watched how this Weiss Schnee had sacrificed so much, yet still felt as if she could have done more. If only more were like her in Remnant." Ghira had spoke as he smiled at the Schnee heiress. The faunus in the room quickly nodded in agreement.

"Right, the next one is different. Not heavy like the last three, but different I think? But before that, Weiss may I speak with you for a moment?" Saber said before walking out the door, followed by the Schnee heiress.

In a private room inside the manor...

"Why did you bringe here?" Weiss asked wearily as she sat down on a chair.

"I saw what you felt while watching your counterpart... Or more accurately, it made you realize what you must do, to give the faunus the justice they deserve and to restore the SDC that your grandfather had envisioned." Saber said taking something out of her drawer.

"And what's it to you?" Weiss said a little bit hostile. The goddess in front of her chuckles and holds out her hand to the heiress.

" I want to help you. The faunus have suffered from inequality long enough, and the White Fang continue to exploit it... If you can time the release of this information correctly, you can force Atlas's hand into passing equal rights for the faunus and restore the SDC'S reputation all in one go." Saber revealed, holding a hard drive in her other hand.

"Why help me? And what's in it for you" The heiress asked skeptical of the goddess motivation.

"Because I want to see what happens if you do... Also I get the satisfaction of watching Atlas and your father scramble to protect their interests under overwhelming pressure from the other three kingdoms and an incited faunus population." Saber answers with no hesitation.

"Okay, I accept... But what if it goes wrong?" Weiss said questioningly.

"It won't go wrong... Because I will make sure that whatever you do, I will guide you." Saber responds confidently, as she hands Weiss the mysterious hard drive in her hands.

"Now, shall we Ms. Schnee? The others are waiting." Saber says offering her hand.

"I want you to know, that whatever your thinking about how much of a schemer and shady person I am right now. Doing the right thing comes first, Atlas has covered the SDC's wrongdoings for long enough so I do not care whether they will be humiliated on an international scale or not. They're arrogance will be their downfall and I intend to see it through..." Saber says coldly muttering the last part to herself, as she holds the door for the heiress to pass through.
