[A/N: I got bored waiting for class to start, so here have a scene from Waterloo (1970).]

'Shut up and give the clip already' Saber glares at the empty screen in annoyance, then smiles.

"I think she's gone mental" Nora leans over to Ren. Ren pushes her face away from him "No, she isn't she's probably just daydreaming".

"Alright, everyone! Today you'll be reacting to the return of a certain Empress Ruby Bonaparte."

"Empress? This dolt?" Weiss looks pointedly at Ruby, who blushes.

"Me? And empress?" Ruby follows up.

" What kinda name is Bonaparte?" Qrow asks while taking swig at his beer, Summer hits his shoulder because of his rude remark.

"And who is this Empress Ruby?" Ozpin asks, earning Saber a questioning look from the adults including Salem.

"Funny, you should ask Ozzy." Saber teases. "Please don't call me that." Ozpin responds.

"As I was saying. Empress Ruby Bonaparte, the first and last Empress of the French Empire. A young military officer that rose to prominence in the wake of the French Revolution, early in her career she put in command of the Army of Italy, which was barely an army at all and somehow beat their enemies back and winning the war." Saber let the information sink in.

"Impressive." Ironwood says, Winter nods her head in agreement.

"Then what happened? Tell us! Tell us! Tell us!" Ruby squeals

"I still don't understand, how this dolt managed to whip a barely equipped army into shape." Weiss says secretly impressed.

Saber continues "After which, she was put in command of an expedition to Egypt, long story short it ended failure, but his early success in Egypt and his victory over the Austrians in Italy, had made her extremely popular with the people, and France',s corrupt government extremely unpopular".

"Our daughter in this universe is awesome" Tai gapes at Summer. Qrow and Raven nod in agreement.

Saber continues " After that, she stages a coup, almost got blown up by a bunch of royalist rebels, and upstages the pope in her coronation, she finally became Empress Ruby I"

"The... Pope?" Salem asks.

"Religious head of the biggest religion in that world. Don't ask" Saber answers.

" After that all of France's enemies banded together in the third coalition" Saber explains. "Then in the year 1812 Empress Ruby is finally beaten after the Russians lit their own capital ablaze. And in 1814 Empress Ruby abdicates the French throne and is exiled to the small island of Elba. But when she returned the new King of France who sends armies after her as she marches towards Paris, the French capital"

"You said we'll be reacting to her return, but you said the king sent armies after her how would she even do that" Weiss says.

"I agree, ms. Saber, how would she possibly pull that off?" Ozpin adds

Suddenly Summer, Tai, Qrow, and Yang feared the worst for Ruby.

"You'll be amazed at how she did what you all call impossible. Though the one your about to see is merely one of the armies she encountered" Saber says smirking at them and turning the screen on.

The screen cuts the view of an army marching on a road, with Ruby in front of the columns of soldiers.

"Woah! Ruby managed to assemble a HUGE army" Sun points to the Ruby on the screen.

"Yes. Its quite impressive that this Ruby has somehow amassed an army, despite being exiled to a small island" Ozpin says in astonishment.

"Those. Uniforms. Look so COOL!" Coco gushes looking at the soldiers marching.

Ruby looks to her side, as she walks forward.

"This doesn't look good." Yang says hugging Ruby.

"Yang, to, to, tight" Ruby tries to put distance between her and her sister.

Weiss is shown looking at the marching army in front of her, before she rides to the front of her men.

"Oh... Oh... No" Weiss says anxiously, while glancing at Ruby, while Yang glares at her.

Ruby touches her thigh and smiles at her " Hey. Its not me, its a different universe".

Weiss nods and grips Ruby's hand.

Ruby continues marching forward, as her officers relay orders to her army. "There's no way around"" The way is forward" some soldiers converse as they march forward.

Ruby raises her hand as her guard form up on her. Weiss looks to her left and nods.

"Present"

A rank of soldiers immediately take aim as Ruby walks forward with an arm raised, her guard respond by doing the same, only for her to signal them to stand down.

"Ruby! What are you doing!" her family shouts on the screen.

"Well, Red I knew you we're naive but this sets a whole new bar" Roman chuckles a bit,

"Brave perhaps, but foolish..." Salem says looking at the screen.

"Maybe. Just foolish" Raven mutters, earning a glare from the rest of her family.

Ruby continues to slowly walk forward, as she puts her hands behind her back. Before stopping just a few feet away from the rank of soldiers aimed at her, before speaking.

"Soldiers of the 5th, do you recognize me"

"Ruby, is it really the time to ask the if the soldiers that have come to arrest or kill you, know you?" Roman asks, before being elbowed by Neo and Cinder.

"I mean, she was their empress only six moths ago" Saber says.

Ruby walks forward a bit more, before stopping again. Before speaking again

"If, you want to kill your empress, heh, here I am"

"Fire!"

"Oh-kayy. Ruby has officially lost it" Nora says exasperated. Ren gives an apologetic look at Ruby's family.

"Leave it to Red, to command her own firing squad" Roman sniggers.

"Ruby, how about not challenging the men who have guns trained at you in every direction!" Tai says to her daughter on screen.

"Everyone, shut up! Here comes the best part" Saber shouts.

Team RWBY watch the screen anxious at their leaders fate.

One of the soldiers in front of her drops to the ground, and the army in front of her disintegrates and erupts into cheers.

"Vive la France!"

"Vive la France!"

"What!" Everyone looked astonished at the scene

Team RWBY and Ruby's family breathe a sigh in relief.

"Never doubted you for a moment Red" Mercury says, earning a eye roll from Emerald and Ruby.

Weiss looks to her sides astonished, as her soldier run to Ruby's side.

"Weiss is making the same face she did when Ozpin announced who the team leader was gonna be" Yang laughs, earning a glare from Weiss.

Team JNPR and SSSN laugh.

Ruby makes her way towards Weiss, as soldiers clear a path for her.

Weiss draws her sword at Ruby, Ruby stares at her unfazed.

Everyone looks at the screen wide eyed.

Weiss throws her sword to the ground.

"Oh, thank Oum" Summer sighs in relief.

Ruby looks at her and then at the sword, as a guard picks it up and hands it to her.

Ruby looks at her sword then walks to her, she stops and offers the sword back to Weiss.

Weiss takes the sword, and looks at Ruby. Ruby takes one last look at her and says

"Follow me to Grenoble" before stepping back and raising her hat.

The soldiers erupt in cheers as they begin throwing papers in the air.

Saber turns to the audience and asks "Sooo? What did you think?"

Ruby stands up and shouts "It. Was. Awesome!"

Weiss calms her down and says "I-It was very suspenseful

"The way she spoke like she already knew the outcome was very chilling" Ozpin says, met by murmurs of agreement from the others.

"She has balls of steel walking up to an army like that, she has my respect" Roman says, earning a nod from his partner.

"Since it may be a while before we get another react, why don't you all take the time to go to the bathroom and get more snacks" Saber suggests.

Everyone nods and get up to go d their business.

[ A/N: What did you guys think? It was pretty rushed, considering I did this chapter in intervals while waiting for my classes to start.

Also, what do you think should I combine the names of the characters with historical figures if I react to historical movies, or just completely put their names in instead? Please let me know in the comments]
