When I went to Weiss-sama's room to do what I look forward to every morning, that is to change her clothes, she already had a visitor.

"Blackmail is a strong word. I and everyone else prefer to call it a nudge in the right direction. And it wasn't really blackmail it was more like a few things that would become very valuable in their story later" Saber responded.

Looking at her, not only her clothes, but even her hairstyle is well arranged.
Her winding hair is quite difficult, now that Blake is gone I thought only I could do it.

"By the way, did you change your clothes and do your hair yourself?"
"No? Onee-sama did it. She is very skilled"
"Fufu, I used to look after Weiss like this often in the past"

And the two of them laughed intimately together.

Winter-sama said as if to cut me off.

"Nope, I don't know what your talking about! Oh, look the recording is playing again!" Saber says awkwardly laughing.

"What are you doing. We are going"

Carrying Weiss-sama's stuff, I followed――.

"Does Weiss know of the restaurant called Blume?"
"Yes, naturally"
"As a matter of fact, recently a rival restaurant to Blume appeared"

Whomever she gets close with, it's fine if Weiss-sama is happy.
In fact, since Winter-sama came, Weiss-sama regained her liveliness that disappeared together with Emerald.
In that sense, I'm even grateful to Winter-sama.

"Wait? Emerald? What happened to her?" Mercury asked noticing Emerald's name come up.

"I dunno. I think its stupid, not letting out your feelings even just a bit. Even if its selfish, I think they both deserve the choice of what their relationship is or will be." Saber responded all too kindly.

"Hey you! Is than not underwear rather than a handkerchief!"

Well, even if I understand in theory, my feelings are another story.

"Never change other Ruby. Never change..." Ruby laughed watching the scene before her.

"Wait. Are you implying what I think you're-" Saber cuts in.

Winter-sama keeps meddling so often that I think it's blatant.

At night when I returned to my room, Pyrrha noticed my appearance is different from usual and called out to me.

"Ah, you sound alright"

"Please, Pyrrha knock some sense back into the dolt!" Weiss begged the redheads counterpart.

"I dunno princess, it seriously looks like she needs Weissium stat." Yang laughed.

"Is anyone else unsettled by a depressed Ruby? Cause this, this isn't something I can conceive." Jaune voiced out his concern.

"Relax, handsome. This Ruby just wants some snu snu or something from the ice queen." Coco shrugged in response. Causing the aforementioned pair to get flustered.

I desperately stopped Pyrrha who was about to enter her futon as usual.

"Careful there Red, your inner Emerald is showing again." Mercury snickered at the sight. Emerald glares at her partner silently threatening to break his non-existent legs.

"I don't really have any business"

Winter-sama, who seemed to have been waiting for me near my and Pyrrha's room, was leaning on the wall with her usual refreshing smile on her face.

"Do you love Weiss?"
"Yeah"
"Considering that, aren't you surprisingly quiet. I'm provoking you so much"

"Well, not everybody responds the same way to provocation, ya know." Blake says like it was pretty obvious.

In the end, it was on purpose, huh.

"I love Weiss-sama, but even if she doesn't particularly look my way, if Weiss-sama is happy I'm fine with it"
"... Hmph"

At my answer, for the first time boredom appeared in Winter-sama's expression.

"What. Your feelings are only to that degree. I'm disappointed"

"Wait. Whay did you say?" Ozpin asked after probably mishearing what she said.

"... What's...? Really, what's with that person..."

I can't digest the current situation well, but I'm clearly angry that my feelings for Weiss-sama were looked down on.

"... Bring it on. I don't care you're a Quad Caster holder, I'll teach you a lesson"

"What does she mean by a quad caster?" Weiss asked curious of the power in this world.

"Okay, so in this world dust obviously doesn't exist. What does exist, if I remember correctly is magic." Saber explained.

"Okay so how do their powers work?" Salem asked curious of this worlds magic.

"Simple. They manipulate elements, for the most part, in creating their attacks and defenses based on the element they are connected with. Although uncommon this Ruby is a dual caster which means shes capable of using two elements interchangeably or at once. Winter on the other hand, is the only known quad caster in this world which makes her an incredibly tough opponent." Saber continued before finishing her explaination.

Thinking back on it, I probably lost my temper.

"Really, if you want to see how these casters work. Let's proceed shall we?" Saber said playing the next recording in the screen.

"Winter-sama!"
"Lovely!"
"Ruby, do your best!"
"Don't lose!"

The next day, Winter-sama and I were surrounded by spectators on the magic practice grounds.
I didn't really want to stand out, but somehow the news of Winter-sama's and my magical confrontation spread.
Unlike Winter-sama who's used to spotlight, this development made me dispirited.

"But Winter is already a quad caster. Wouldn't having a high aptitude for all her elements be overpowered already." Weiss asked a bit worried about how this battle would result.

"Correct. In fact, in raw power alone. This Winter is approximately capable of going blow for blow with any of the four maidens alone without aura." Saber said, crossing her legs for comfort.

"I highly doubt that is the case... The maidens are powerful enough to level an entire city alone." Salem said, seeing how the maidens have far more access to the elements than a quad caster would have.

"That may be true. But when has a maiden ever created highly specialized attacks using her elemental powers, rather than using brute forcing her way or attrition." Saber countered the witch with her own question.

It was judged that it would be dangerous for a person with a weak aptitude to be a referee.

"Oh, is there any problem with what I and Ruby are doing?"

Winter-sama asked as if questioning why Weiss-sama would say that.

"Personal fights... are not good. Why would Onee-sama and Ruby fight?"

We've decided to keep the true motive of this confrontation from Weiss-sama.

"I don't think that's a smart idea, Ruby... She has like a 10 to 1 advantage over you.. Oh, who am I kidding, when do you care how many leagues above your opponent is to you." Blake said glaring at Ruby.

"Ain't that the truth..." Qrow said taking another bottle from under his seat.

"I think its in the genes..." Tai whispered to Summer.

"Well, there's also a small personal grudge. Ruby is not suitable for Weiss. Weiss too, you are troubled being followed by Ruby?"
"Tha, that is..."

Weiss-sama said, squeezing her voice.
My chest tightened.

"I did no such things. Now shut up, its about to get interesting" Weiss replied, shushing the blonde brawler.

"That's why, we need to settle it here once and for all"

Saying so, Weiss-sama took some distance from us.

"Are you prepared, Ruby?"
"Winter too"
"Fufu, interesting. That spirit"

Winter-sama laughed daringly.

"Ah, I was surprised. But, such a thing won't defeat me?"

"One should never underestimate or overestimate their opponents, least you wish to fail." Glynda told her students.

"Correct. Unless you wanna be remembered as the huntsman that died in possibly the most tragic and comedic way possible." Saber confirmed.

"Or be remembered for the greatest dust heists in Remnant, only to get eaten alive by a nevermore." King cut in.

"Wait a minute... What did you just say?" Roman said hearing the dust heist part.

"Absolutely nothing, you should be worried about... Probably." King assured him, whispering the last part.

While speaking in a carefree voice, Winter-sama rose from the hole.
I expected that.
Winter-sama has high aptitudes in all four attributes.
She can raise the bottom of the pit with the earth attribute or dance in the air with the wind attribute.

"Now that just seems a bit unfair doesn't it?" Pyrrha said frowning at the unfair match up

"Says the girl who has polarity for a semblance." Saber rolls her eyes at the invincible girl.

"Woah, Pyrrha can control poles? So like you can bend this giant stick right?" Ruby awed at Pyrrha. Causing everyone in the room to facepalm.

"Dolt, shut up! Your embarrassing us." Weiss groaned in annoyance covering her face.

"Ms. Accelerated by two years, everybody." Emerald rolled her eyes at the team leader of RWBY.

"Yeah, there was a different purpose"

It's a magic that pours a mass of earth and rocks on the opponent, among magic present in Revolution it boasts considerable power.
It seemed like a direct hit, but――.

"Magic, Ruby... Magic..." Yang pointed out to her sister.

I heard a carefree voice behind me.

"If I didn't, I couldn't win against Winter-sama"

"She intends to brute force her victory, because she knows she's outmatched. Its smart, but its not necessarily the best move." Qrow said observing the Ruby on screen.

"I agree. Brute forcing it won't work, simply because she's outmatched she would need to play it out while being on the offensive before she launches an all or nothing assault or she could delay until she gains an opening." Winter said, surprisingly agreeing with the older huntsman.

"Wait... We actually agree on something?" Qrow said pointing at each other.

"Yeah, what of it? Its not like I'll deny your points because your drunk" Winter scoffed at him.

"Well this is awkward..." Qrow shrugs, turning back to the screen.

Unlike other major characters, the protagonist doesn't have a fixed pattern of fighting.
For example, Jaune-sama's Army of Flame or Pyrrha's Siren, when refined to perfection are strong techniques.

"So that would imply that some techniques don't necessarily need refinement but rather something else." Weiss suggested.

"And since Ruby doesn't have a specific pattern she follows and knows how the major characters pattern works. She arguably has an advantage against Winter, albeit a small one." Blake agrees with the heiress.

"I disagree. Knowing one's opponent is already a massive advantage, however their fight is very thought consuming, likely Ruby won't have enough time to remember how Winter's attack patterns work. And that will be her defeat." Summer offered to the pair.

They're strong, but they're poorly compatible with Winter-sama.

The perfectly refined techniques are helpless against being dispelled by Spell Breaker.

"A spell capable of nullifying an opponents own spell. How interesting." Salem nodded, trying to gauge out how powerful these children actually are.

No matter how effective the technique, once the fight draws out it will become the victim to Spell Breaker.
In short, to defeat Winter-sama, there's nothing but to challenge her to a brief fight with novel techniques.

"Similar to how to defeat Adam then?" Sienna said pointing at the bull faunus.

Be that as it may, it's not easy to defeat Winter-sama with a brief fight.
She has nonsensical high earth, water, fire aptitudes and a super wind aptitude.
Even if I have two attributes with super aptitudes, I'm no match for her in aptitudes.
The pit and Water Meteor at the start were meant to seal her movements and finish it in one go, but after all it won't be so easy

"Thinking in the middle of combat is a big, No No kids. In a real combat situation, there is no time for analysis especially in a one on one fight, the only thinking you're supposed to do is how to break out or time a counter." Summer pointed out to the huntsmen and huntresses in training.

It's a magic that instantly freezes a wide space, originally it's a magic that couldn't be used before the game's final stage.

"Hey, Weiss can you do that?" Ruby asked, pointing at the Ruby casting her magic.

"I... Suppose I could try." Weiss replied contemplating such a move for her ice dust.

I'm not stopping.
The created blocks of ice around me are pierced by rock cones coming from below and shatter.
It's the earth attribute magic "Earth Spike".
The technique of using these two magics in succession is called the serial magic "Cocytus".

"SIGH... Blake back to the drawing board with the team combos." Yang said tackling Blake after seeing Ruby's excited expression looking.

"What! No, wait! We can talk this-" Blake yelled as Yang took her down with her to the floor, with Ruby diving in between.

"Well... There goes the cooler team STRQ, anyway let's continue shall we?" Saber asked, awkwardly unpausing the recording.

It's a high-powered strike that follows a wide-area freeze.
To say nothing of ordinary opponents, even a considerably trained person shouldn't be able to avoid it.

"Ya jinxed it Red." Mercury said shaking his head in disapproval.

"Yup, she's dead..." Roman conceded, tossing a roll of lien to Emerald.

"And I see your still a blackout drunk, what's your point?" Winter glared at him, looking ready to throw hands.

As she destroyed the ice arrow with Spell Breaker, she stood there composed.

"... How did you avoid it?"

Winter-sama playfully put her index finger against her lips.

"Even so, Ruby. Didn't you overdo it a little? Even with the magic dampening barrier, if I was hit just now, don't you think I wouldn't get away without an injury?"
"Yet, you could avoid it"
"Well, because I'm me"

"Uggh... She sounds like Cinder now, ew." Tyrian said, getting bored at the lack of carnage.

"I do not talk like that!" Cinder protested at the accusation, getting ready to tackle him in a preemptive strike.

"You do, Cinder. You do in fact sound like that, so please just relax... And keep watching, 'kay?" Saber rolled her eyes, putting distance between Cinder and the scorpion psycho.

Saying so, Winter-sama loudly laughed.
And after laughing for a while, with a smile like Cheshire Cat's on her face――.

"Then, it's my turn. Because I was shown something interesting, I wonder if I should get a little serious"

From my knowledge of the game, I had a premonition of what Winter-sama's next action would be.
Having nothing to lose I invoked Cocytus again.

The instant Winter-sama's magic wand shined, the construction of Cocytus stopped.

"This is the end"

The next moment, I bled from all over my body, fell down, and immediately lost consciousness.

"That... Was pretty intense." Pyrrha breathed after a moment.

"Yeah, but what happened to Ruby? And what was that?" Jaune asked the host.

"Ruby is fine just unconscious... As for that, well I don't know myself actually." Saber replied, before unpausing the video.

I heard something.
It's a very pleasant sound.
Certainly it's too high-pitched for ordinary people, it's a shrill sound.
But I love this sound - no, this voice.

When I opened my eyes, I saw Weiss-sama's pale face.

"Oh, thank Oum she's okay..." Summer breathed a sigh if relief after confirming Saber's word.

Looking around, I seem to be in the Church clinic attached to the academy.
It's the place where we came to ask Matt about the circumstances of the courtyard incident.

"You fainted receiving Onee-sama's magic. Is there any place that hurts?"

"Cinder needs a lover, so yeah and Ruby is good for her."
"Absolutely not! Don't I get a say in this? Mistress Salem not you too!"
"If it means I get my goddess to myself, then I'm in!"

"How much money did they event bet on White Rose?" Saber leaned into King's side.

"Pretty sure, Roman lost like half his lien and now owes Salem 10-years of servitude." King shrugged.

"Salem actually bet against White Rose? Damn that's evil..." Saber laughed.

What Winter-sama used at the end was the four-attribute combination magic "Dominator" - it dominates all magical power within range and makes it run out of control, it's a peerless brutal offensive magic.
Because magical power is put under control, no magic can be used, moreover people with high magic aptitude receive high damage due to the out of control magical power.
It's a magic that can be called the ultimate anti-magician weapon.

I knew Winter-sama could use Dominator.
No, when it comes to what I know, with my knowledge of the game, I know almost everything about Winter-sama.
Because I know, I understand what happened.
I lost my cool when my feelings for Weiss-sama were looked down on, however I――.

"Feelings can be a powerful tool in fighting because it keeps you focused on your goal. But too much of it, can lead to a similar result." Ozpin pointed out to his students.

"You're correct. Emotions are a powerful weapon, but if you let it control you. It will be your downfall." Saber said to everyone in the audience, with most agreeing for the most part with the sentiment.

"Well then, Claire is mine, okay?"

Against this person, I can't win.

"And that's it! Yay, now suffer cause we ain't coming back anyo soon." Saber responded.

"Boo/I want my money back!" Roman and Qrow complained to the two.

"Shut up. Now listen I've got a bit of a different recording up next. Think of it as a break but at the same time not." Saber said with a smile on her face.

"What is it about?" Ruby asked the host.

"No spoilers, its takes place in Remnant with a few noticeable differences." Saber responded, not giving anything away. This causes the audience to groan.
