I Favor the Villainess Ch.1

"Like I said, Ms. Schnee no needs to know our little arrangement." Saber says, opening the door for the heiress.

"Gladly..." Weiss responds as she steps in to the theater with the goddess in tow.

"Bout time, you both showed up..." King remarked tossing a crystal recording to Saber, much to her displeasure.

"Revolution, huh? This should be fun." Saber said looking at King with a smirk.

"What're we watching this time?" Mercury groaned, bored out of his mind.

"Right, this one should be fun... But, I won't tell you cause." Saber chuckled, before turning her attention to the others in the theater.

"What you'll be watching this time is a bit different from the others, namely because its in first-person." Saber continued, which caught the attention of her audience.

"Any hints atleast?" Jaune tried, causing Saber to groan.

"Alright fine... Its got betrayal and its really; and I mean really, fuckin gay." Saber says, before activating the recording.

“Why is a lowly commoner trying to join her desk with mine, know your place!”

"Weiss?" Jaune asked confusion written in his face.

"Yep. Definitely Weiss, can't mistake that attitude." Blake deadpanned at the blonde knight.

"Hey! I'll have you know that, that isn't how I sound like." The girl in question protested.

"Yup, can't mistake it now..." Blake said sarcastically, ignoring the heiress.

When I came to my senses, I was suddenly in a situation I didn’t understand well.
A girl with white curls was staring in my direction with an irritated look in her eyes.

Okay, calm down, me.
There was no reason to panic.
Let’s confirm the situation calmly.

"Whelp. Hope you don't explode this time, sis." Yang joked, recognizing the girls voice.

"IT WAS ONE TIME!!" The pair in question protested.

"Wow, first day and someone already exploded? Impressive." Qrow said proudly.

"No it wasn't. It was frankly a mess..." Glynda sighed, glaring at Ozpin's disregard that day.

Looking around, what came into view was a room that looked like a high school classroom.
Compared to the high school I used to attend, with the small number of desks, it gave off a spacious impression.
There was a crowd that surrounded me and the girl with curls from a distance.

The problem was that every person who came into my sight, including the girl, was without a doubt, not Japanese.

"Why? Is she expecting that everyone she meets is Japanese? That's kinda racist." Roman quiped from his seat.

"No, you idiot she's clearly confused with her situation." Cinder sighed loudly.

"Still though, I wonder why she sounds so confused." Hazel said, earning a nod from Watts who was sitting next to him.

"Indeed. Its quite intriguing how out of it this apparent version of Ruby Rose is." Watts responded looking carefully at the screen.

Let’s leave the girl in front of me alone for now and trace my memory up until the current moment.
I worked for a smaller company and after doing a little bit of illegal overtime, if I remembered correctly, I was playing games at home.
The only source of entertainment for somebody as uninteresting as me were games.
I enjoyed almost everything as long as it could be called a game.
From board games, such as shogi and go, to MMOs with gorgeous 3D graphics.

"Her memories seem to depict a far more modern setting than the one she's in. Could she perhaps be a reincarnation?" Salem spoke up.

"I highly doubt that. Since, you know..." Ozpin replied pointing to himself.

"Pfft. You'd be surprised how stupid your reincarnation process is compared to the norm." King laughed at the headmaster.

Among the many games I’ve played, I especially adored love simulation games.
A love simulation game was where the player could enjoy romancing boys as a heroine.
However, the way I enjoyed them was slightly distorted…

"How else is someone supposed to enjoy a dating game, except romance though?" Jaune asked out of the blue.

"Making fun of them obviously..." Mercury responded with a laugh.

"He's not wrong..." Saber shrugged.

When I remembered that much, I realized I was familiar with the girl in front of me.

“Ah. Weiss…?”
“Oh my! To address me by my name without an honorific!”

"Wow. She really does sound like Weiss..." Ruby awed, which prompted her partner to pinch her cheek.

There was no doubt about this yapping voice.
She was Weiss Schnee.
She was my favorite character from the love simulation game, 「Revolution」.

"I'm not sure if I should be offended or flattered." Weiss looked at Ruby with a dangerous glint in her eyes.

"Flattered! Definitely flattered!" The girl in red responded before diving to cover behind Yang.

"Children, please. You are not the only ones watching this recording." Glynda scolded, causing the pair to sit back down quietly.

So that meant, this was perhaps, maybe that?
Was this a reincarnation into another world?

"Is that even possible? I mean, that hasn't happened before right?" Ozpin looked at the goddess.

"Maybe, I don't really have a grasp on that concept surprisingly enough. For all I know your next death could reincarnate you into a golden throne or something." Saber responded truthfully. Which did nothing to soothe the headmasters curiosity.

“Weiss-sama.”
“That’s right. It is expected of commoners to use proper honorifics.”
“Do you remember my name?”
“Are you stupid? It’s Ruby Rose.”

I see, I understand.
Somehow, I really had been transmigrated into another world.

"Not an uncommon occurrence, especially if you get hit by a truck that's for sure." King laughed.

"Wait. People get sent to other worlds by getting into a road accident with a truck, that seems kinda stupid." Jaune said not believing a single word.

"Sorry, kid. I don't make the rules..." King shrugged his shoulders.

My real name was Oohashi Ruby. Rose was the family name of the game’s heroine.
In 「Revolution」, you could freely set the heroine’s first name, but the family name was forced to be Taylor.
On that note, this world was the stage of the game and I seemed to be the heroine.

"Is it just me or is every Ruby in the multiverse either a hero of some capacity or a deranged villain?" Neptune wondered outloud.

"Like I said. I don't make the rules..." Saber shrugged off the question.

"Ruby's the heroine? Then what is Weiss supposed to be?" Jaune voiced out.

"Have you not figured it out yet? Sucks for you then." Saber smirked at the blonde boy.

“Hooray!”
“Could you not say things without context out of nowhere? And that is such a vulgar expression. This is why commoners are…”

Claire-sama grumbled something to herself, but let’s ignore her for now.
Transmigration into a game’s world… How often did I dream about it?

"She's right. Everyone who has ever suggested such a thing had been rebuked for being delusional or it just wasn't worth it and dismissed as a complete waste of time... But, this. This changes everything..." Ironwood said, thinking if they could accomplish something deemed impossible then they may have w chance against the grimm.

"I'm gonna have to cut you off right there James, no way your going to create a portal that allows you to transmigrate its too risky and even I don't know how something like that could be achieved." Saber says stopping the generals train of thought.

"I- Yes, your right. Its risky and far too controversial to even attempt. We'll just have to find another way to beat the grimm." Ironwood concedes to Saber's point.

In this world, it was possible to have real conversations with my favorite characters without relying on things like choices.

And――.

“Weiss-sama.”

“What is it? I do not wish for a lowly commoner to address me with such a familiar tone.”

“I like you.”

"Eh!? This dolt and me!?" Weiss jolted up, her face beat red from embarrassment.

"Awww, that would be so cute! Right Blake?" Yang gushed at the pair.

"Yep." Blake said in amusement.

"Weiss! Clearly the Schnee Way will not work on Ms. Rose, so you must reevaluate your tactics and strategies to ensure a happy marriage at once!" Winter spoke up looking at her sister  in the eye.

"D-Don't we get a say in this?" Ruby squeaked out from behind her partner.

"Nope. Now, come to uncle Qrow and I'll teach you all you need ta know about women." Qrow said slinging a protective arm around Ruby. Only to be met by a glaring Winter who pulls the younger Rose away from Qrow.

"Absolutely not! I will not have you corrupting a sweet innocent girl with your- Your- Your deviance!" Winter glared at the older huntsman, forcing Qrow to back away.

"Neo, remind me not to try crashing Red's wedding in the future." Roman whispered suddenly fearing for his life.

'Maybe?' Neo signed back smirking.

“… Huh?”

Weiss-sama made a blank expression.
It seemed that she didn’t understand.
It couldn’t be helped.

"What's there to understand!? Clearly you like me as uhh..... A uhhh... A Roommate!" Weiss exclaimed making the adults in the room facepalm at her blatant denial.

"Oh My God! They were Roommates!" Saber blurted out in annoyance causing King to laugh.

"Sorry, couldn't help it." Saber said slapping her mouth because of the joke she made.

“Weiss-sama, I like you very much”
Whawha wha wha…!?”

As the words I said permeated into her brain, Weiss-sama lost her cool.
Yup, cute.

"Hehe... So that's why you love annoying Weiss, huh Ruby." Yang teased her sister.

"I-I mean she is kinda cute when she gets annoyed..." Ruby mumbled to herself.

"Yes, she is quite the adorable little thing when she gets frustrated..." Winter agreed with the other Ruby. Causing Weiss to try and cover her blushing face.

In 「Revolution」, my favorite character wasn’t a capturable man, but Weiss-sama.

" capturable man? What are we, fish or something?" Qrow complained at the idea.

"Not that kinda capturable idiot. She clearly means, she doesn't like any man enough to get their attention. Hence the word capturable man." Raven answered with a sigh.

She – Weiss Schnee was the villainess of 「Revolution」.
The villainess was someone who bullies the heroine, only to, at the end, turn around and become a stalking horse character.

"Weiss is one of those crazy girls in dating games! HAHAAHAHA!" Yang toppled down in laughter.

"How rude! I would never resort to such tactics. A stalking horse, really?" Weiss gasped offended.

The child of good family with bad personality, accompanied by her followers, she would harass the protagonist over and over again.

Nevertheless, I was completely charmed by the villainess, Weiss-sama.

" That seems kinda stupid. I mean, getting charmed by someone that bullies and harasses you, pathetic." Emerald said out of the blue.

"Your one to talk..." King rolled his eyes at the thief.

"Oh, Cinder! Use and abuse me more! Oh, yeah! Just like that!" Saber moaned mimicking Emeralds voice. Making the greenhaired thief blush in utter embarrassment.

"Emerald..."

"Y-Yes Cinder?" Emerald looked at her boss in fear.

"Want some popcorn? Or maybe some tea?" Cinder smiled sweetly at the greenhaired thief.

'Note to self. Pretend to be a masochist to make Cinder nicer...' Roman thought while watching the exchange.

"I feel like I unleashed a thought that shouldn't exist." Saber wondered to herself.

With her domineering personality, yapping noisy voice, and evil disposition leading to numerous wrongdoings.
Even though the person herself was in front of me, just recalling the memories of playing the game made me break into a smile.

"Yapping noisy voice, huh?" Weiss turned to her team leader with a glare, causing the other girl to yelp.

"It was the other me! I'm innocent!" Ruby yelled out trying to get out of the heiress grip.

"Well aren't you just the cutest couple I've ever seen!" Kali cooed at the pair.

"We're not together!" The two protested as they split apart.

"Not yet." Saber pointed out with a smirk.

Normally, Weiss-sama would be a target of antipathy, but I couldn’t find a reason to hate her.
Needlessly high pride, threatening behavior to conceal her fragile heart, going mad with jealousy to not let her rival in love steal from her – so strangely full of human traits, she perfectly suited my preferences.

"That was... Uhhh... A pretty good point actually." Blake said looking up at the screen.

"Yes, at least she doesn't simply like this other Ms. Schnee for shallow reasons." Ozpin agreed.

Rather, I remember being uncomfortable with the protagonist, who was too much like a saint.

"Ah, yes Mary Sue's the bane of readers and writers everywhere..." Saber growled.

"Wait... Aren't you a Mary Sue?" King raised an eyebrow at the goddess.

"Oh... Right." Saber says monotonously.

"Blerghh... Its the 'loved by many and known for her hood' spiel all over again." Yang said with distaste in her mouth.

"You will never let me live that done huh?" Ruby tilted her head at her sister.

"Nope"

If I had to say, it was a troublesome personality.

“What are you talking about!?”
“What, you say… I simply like Weiss-sama very much.”
“Hm… hmph, is the lowly commoner trying to curry favor with me? It is futile. I will not trust a commoner in the slightest.”

"

No Weiss, she wants to date you! Now kiss already!" Blake said trying not to fangirl.

"Umm... Should we be worried about that?" Kali said pointing at her daughter.

"Probably?" Came the reply from her husband.

Weiss-sama huffed while turning her face away.

“… How cute.”
Whawha wha wha…!”

Oops, my worldly desires subconsciously rushed out of my mouth.
Weiss-sama was extremely shaken.

“You’re… not one of those people that play for the other team, are you?”
“No, that’s not…well, that may or may not be true, but putting that aside, you’re just cute, Weiss-sama.”
Hii!?”

She drew away.
How nice….. Such a pure reaction.

"W-W-What's wrong with you! You can't just confess to people! Its not even romantic." Weiss scolded the younger girl.

"But you admit you'll accept her confession, if she does it in a more romantic setting?" Yang teased the white haired girl.

"Of course not!" Weiss scoffed, earning a raised eyebrow from Saber.

"Okay, maybe..." Weiss muttered to herself.

“Claire-sama, you dislike me, right?”
“T-That’s obvious, isn’t it?!”
“That’s good. Please continue bullying me. Bring it on.”
“What… What is with this person…”

"Oh, Oh, Oh no! This other version of the dolt is... Even more weird!" Weiss said in terror.

"You just realized that now?" Cinder muttered to herself.

"Aww, don't deny that you love the attention though." Saber booped the heiress in the cheek.

Rather, it was Weiss-sama who was starting to panic.

“Now then, this is just the beginning of a fun, fun school life, Weiss-sama! Let’s enjoy ourselves together with all of our might!”
“Why is the story proceeding on the premise that I will voluntarily involve myself with you?!”

"Just give up other me... Bid farewell to all your peace and quiet, and accept the inevitability of a hyperactive Ruby Rose thats probably high on cookies laced with strawberries..." Weiss sighed dramatically, causing team JNPR and her other teammates to laugh.

"What's wrong with strawberry filled cookies?" Ruby tilted her head in confusion, since she wasn't listening.

"Look on the bright side Weiss, atleast she doesn't put meth in her cookies." Saber laughed patting the Ruby on the head

With this, I bid my everyday life of overtime farewell, and I began to imagine spending every day admiring the lovely Weiss-sama.
This was a precious transmigration into another world.
I will definitely cherish Weiss-sama to my heart’s content.

My prospects for my life in another world were bright.

"Yeah! Bright for you! Me? Not so much." Weiss pointed accusingly at Ruby, the girl in question vquickly moves to take cover behind Saber with a smile on her face.

"Dear Oum, its the first week all over again." Glynda sighed looking at the 'more responsible' half of team RWBY.

"Ahh, young love... Let it go Glynda, let it go..." Ozpin shook his head at the deputy head mistress. Though he probably won't admit that he ships it too, probably.

"Right. Now, if you two love birds can sit down again. We can start the next one, still in this universe of course..." Saber said, putting Weiss and Ruby back to their seats.
