Elden Ring Story Trailer

A few minutes after the last chapter...

"Ah, yes. Across the fog the Lands Between..." Saber said.

"Is this the one where a certain blonde guy beats up a guy from an oppressed minority, whack a blind leprosy patient, deck a depressed single mom with her kids, and some dumbass got vored by a snake?" King asked.

"Yup. Oh, right you're still here" Saber turned to her audience.

"What the heck are you two talking about?" Qrow asked.

"Only the greatest conflict to date." Saber said, brandishing a different recording crystal this time in the shape of a ring.

"But... Perhaps this doll, can tell the story." Saber said as the screen came to life.

It happened an age ago. But when I recall. I see it true.

"Its Weiss again!" Ruby pointed out.

"I love how Ruby just immediately knows its her partner by voice." Summer smiled.

"Wuh?"

"Is that not how you identified your partner friend Ruby?" Penny tilted her head.

"What? No! Its blue, therefore cold therefore lover ahead." Ruby said while said partner facepalmed.

"Atleast its not through try finger, but hole." Saber shrugged.

The image of four sets of hands intertwined with one another is shown as the screen begins to shift.

On a night of wint'ry fog. The rune of death was stolen

The image of several riders wearing black cloaks rushed across the forests... And the sound of slashing blade was heard across the black screen.

And the demigods began to fall.

An image of Yang laying motionless on the ground with large scar on her back was revealed.

"What the-" Summer felt disturbed at the sight.

Starting with Yang the Golden

As if alive, the corpse eye color began to change and tears of pitch black began to fall.

"Again. What the-" Qrow looked perturbed at the sight.

"But... She isn't dead she's moving." Winter pointed out.

"Unfortunately. No, she was stabbed with the stolen fragments of the rune of death. She's dead, or at least her spirit is." Saber explained.

"Trust me. You do not want to know the specifics." King stopped anyone from asking, mainly cause lore is still iffy.

Queen Salem was driven to the brink.

A pair of hands slowly put a crown in a pedestal, as the silhouette of Ozpin was seen walking away from the Elden Throne

The Shattering ensued; A war that ensured only darkness. The Elden Ring was broken, but by whom? And why?

"The what?" Ruby tilted her head towards Saber.

"The Elden Ring governs the reality of that world, when it was shattered all hell broke loose as Queen Salem's children, the demigods fought to reunite the great runes that make up the ring and become Elden Lord. Hence the Shattering." Saber answered.

The image of Leyndell was shown as thousands of soldiers attempt to storm the capital.

What could the demigods hope to win by warring?

"Excellent question." Ozpin remarked with thought.

"Absolute power?" Cinder suggested.

"The fate of everything and everyone?" Pyrrha answered.

"Love and Acceptance?" Ruby suggested.

"To change fate?" Weiss butted in.

"To usher in an age, where they are the most powerful? Preferably by kidnapping someone?" Blake spoke.

The screen then began to show the battle of Aeonia, A gigantic Winter towering against Ruby who calmly proped up her prosthetic.

"Beeg Winter. I wss not ready for that..." Qrow spat out his drink.

"I-Uh. Yes, mommy?" Cinder blurted, flushed as fuck.

"Idiots." Winter facepalmed.

The conqueror of the stars, general Winter.

Winter opened her hands as the ground began to shake, and her weapons soon began to fly to her hands as she roared at Ruby, who merely regarded it with calmness as she readied herself to charge.

"No glyphs? Then, how?" Weiss asked.

"Absolute beast at gravity magic. Shall I do the honors, or shall you?" Saber answered, before regarding King who merely nodded at her.

"According to the Remembrance of the Starscourge. The White Lion General wielded gravitational powers which she learned at Sellia during her younger days. All so she would never abandon her beloved but scrawny steed. Stopping the stars, of course was just a bonus." King explained to the audience.

"Your telling me that absolute unit of a Winter Schnee, mastered gravity magic to the point of stopping celestial bodies just so she could ride her tiny horse." Qrow sputtered with wide eyes.

"Yes."

And the blade of Summer, Ruby Rose

Ruby rushes across the field to meet Winter's blades head on.

These two were the mightiest to remain. And locked horns in combat.

Winter swung her sword shattering Ruby's prosthetic, but the smaller woman pressed on grabbing her weapon with the other hand with no pause as she leapt into the air. Only to be caught by Winter's sword.

"Holy smokes! That was intense!" Jaune held his breath.

"Ruby's gonna win." Yang said matter-of-factly.

"W-What!? She got impaled! She's basically dead." Weiss argued.

"Guys. Shut up, sowe can continue." Blake shushed the other two from arguing.

But Ruby pressed on, imapling herself even further as her ace in the hole began to flower.

But there would be no victor.

A massive red flower sprouted from her back as it bloomed on the fields of Aeonia, spreading the Scarlet Rot.

"Man, why can't I do that!" Ruby groaned.

"I too, also want it." Cinder added.

"I don't know Ruby, sounds like something bad happened." Jaune pointed out.

"How bad can it be? Its not like she wiped a quarter of the continent with that flower power." Cinder shrugged.

"Yeah... Right..." Saber averted her eyes.

And so, we inhabit a fractured world. Awaiting the arrival of the Elden Lord.

"You said the demigods held the great runes of the Elden Ring, I mean, who'd be insane enough to take it from them? Next, your gonna tell me Ruby got her ass kicked by a guy with a jar helmet and katanas" Yang pointed out.

"You'd be surprised." Saber smirked.

The darkness began to dissipate from the narrator, revealing Weiss Schnee looking directly at the screen.

Unless of course. Thou shouldst take the crown.

•••••••••

"Well continue with the next one in a few moments. So, what did y'all think?" Saber asked her audience.

"Hooked. Absolutely hooked!" Nora shouted from behind Ren.

"Fight was way too short. But damn, if wasn't cool." Qrow answered.

"I'm still reeling from Beeg Winter, so I'll be back to you on that one." Cinder shrugged.
