Touya and Keigo were now roaming around the apartment, as the blonde boy guided him, acting as if the other had never been here. It was a foreign feeling, the position he was in was completely awkward.

"Yeah, uh.. see the dishwasher broke"

"It broke?"

"That's what I said"

"Couldn't you do this over the phone or something?

They quickly began to fight as if nothing had happened. They didn't admit it, but it gave them a warm feeling to be back together again. Dabi was right, Hawks could have just simply solved this issue over the phone, but he really wanted to him again, check if their bond wasn't completely broken.

"My phone ran out of battery"

"Uh huh"

"Listen shithead if you're not gonna help me then fuck-"

"I'll help, you insensitive prick"

The playful comments made Dabi smile small enough for the other to not notice. He bent down and Keigo simply crossed his arms, waiting for him to solve the problem.

"What did you say was broken?"

"The dishwasher you dumbass"

"I know dumbass, but what about it?"

"It won't close"

They both stared at each other, Dabi processing what he meant. He turned his attention back to the dishwasher and inspected it thoroughly. Just he was about to get up and tell Hawks off, he spots a fork stuck at the bottom. He manages to pluck it out and shows it to his friend.

"A fork was blocking it, that's why you couldn't close it"

"Man you really are a lifesaver"

"I'll get going now"

"Huh? First time you come to our apartment since that fight and you're already leaving?"

"Uh.. yes"

"Sit down jackass and let serve you a drink"

"Fine let me just call Shig and let him know"

The last comment sent a cold sensation through Keigo's body. It was the reminder that Dabi no longer stayed here that hit him so harshly. He now had a new person to come to every day, and it devastated him greatly. He nodded back at him as he began talking to the phone. Hawks pulls out their favorite beverages and snack and settles them on the coffee table. He proceeds to turn on the tv, coincidentally landing on a spongebob episode. Shortly after the black-haired boy ended his conversation, he noticed the setup and sat with him.

"I'm surprised you still have my favorite foods"

"Yeah whatever"

They both sat there, awkwardly enjoying each other's presence, while simultaneously focusing on the episode. Dabi took the risk and looking at Hawks, who was devoted to the tv. He noticed he was smiling. He had possibly the biggest smile on his face he'd ever seen. The sight made him blush, he quickly turned his head back, trying to put a blockade on these emotions.

They managed to go through two more episodes, with nothing but small talk to fill the gaps. The awkward atmosphere soon left and they were now comfortable. Nighttime began to fall, and that's when Dabi takes the initiative to leave.

"Well, I gotta go now, I know this is the usual time those hoes of yours come over"

"No, you can stay longer"

"That doesn't sound like a good idea"

"I..Nobody is coming over tonight"

"You're joking, right?"

Those hazel eyes stared at Touya, making him believe he was 100% serious. This was so out of character for him, he couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"No, they don't come often anymore"

"What? Lost your touch, birdie?"

They both chuckled at the comment, he really was losing his touch. Hawks wanted to tell him it was because of him he was like this now, but what would be the point? He juggled on the idea of asking him to come back, but he seemed happy with Shigaraki, so he let it be. And so he stayed, watched a couple of more spongebob episodes they had recorded, chugging down a couple of more beers. Going back to the old times.

After sipping the last of his bottle, Dabi threw his head back and sighed with a smile, he felt warm inside, they weren't used to spending this much time with Hawks, even when they were living together. When he turned to check on Hawks, who was still sitting next to him, he found him looking at him. The sight made his cheeks red.

"Hey"

"What? You gotta go?"

"Yeah Shig must be worried by now"

"Can you do one last favor before leaving"

"You fucker I don"t live here anymore"

"I know, whatever forget about it"

"What is it"

"Can you kiss me?"
