"i don't even know how an angel like fei could like a cringe-y idiot like sury, it'll always be a mystery." yaning sighed as she glanced at wenzhe before briefly giving ruiqi a side-eye. wenzhe laughs, nodding her head as she agreed. "it is, but you know? fate works in the most mysterious way." wenzhe stated.

ruiqi scoffs and rolls her eyes. "hey! if you two are only going to shit on me at least do it behind my back or when i'm not here!" ruiqi whined, before slumping on the bed and sighing. "whatever at least she likes me back." ruiqi muttered.

yaning laughed trudging near the bed where ruiqi was splattered with her arms open wide. "how are we suppose to let you know if you're not here?" yaning countered.

"hmph, as if i want to know, like those love stories in mangas i read, nevermind what people thinks or says about you as long as you love each other." ruiqi grins, her eyes focused on the white ceiling as she heard yaning huff.

"no one cares, plus can you please stop quoting something from those silly mangas, your inner weaboo is showing." yaning rolled her eyes and sat on the same bed in a small space, her weight sinking down on the soft cushion.

"dolly said it's cute." ruiqi replied, in which earned a snort from wenzhe who also walked near the bed but sat on the small cushion just beside the nightstand.

"dolly? when did you even came up with that ferocious nickname?" wenzhe asked as she glanced at ruiqi's sprawled frame.

yaning looked at wenzhe before she averted her gaze back on ruiqi. "did that came from a manga or anime too?" she asked.

"i can say i saw it somewhere, but mine is original, it came from my heart!" ruiqi answered, before sitting up and facing the two older girls.

"what are you even saying?" wenzhe asked, leaning in on the nightstand.

ruiqi groaned, rolling her eyes, before speaking once again. "you know that game i played, there was this character named dollie too, she was pretty too. isn't luofei extremely pretty, kind and nice to everyone? she's like a doll so i gave her the nickname dolly!"

"i think she liked that didn't she?" yaning tapped her chin as she spoke. ruiqi hummed, smiling brightly. "oh yeah of course she did! she said it was so sweet of me, and i was like dolly! you're really—" ruiqi wasn't even able to finish her sentence when the door opened.

"hello, jiejie, hi sury." luofei enters the room carefully, then proceeding to closing the door as she made her way inside and smiled at the three girls inside the room.

ruiqi huffs as she sat properly, adjusting her posture accordingly as she smiled at luofei. "hi dolly!" she greeted in which luofei smiled brightly at her and waved her hand in return.

yaning and wenzhe looked at each other before back at luofei.

"hi there fei."

both older women greeted, luofei smiled at them dearly before looking at ruiqi. "sury, do you want to hang-out and continue what we were reading yesterday?" luofei inquired, in which ruiqi stood up and nodded before walking towards the nightstand and grabbing the manga inside the drawer.

yaning mentally snickered as she saw ruiqi rush besides luofei and smiled. "let's go!" ruiqi pulled luofei's wrist as they exited from the room, surprising wenzhe.

"what was that?" wenzhe asked, eyes wide as she tried to process the happening. yaning laughed. "oh sury, she's a comedian." yaning stated before standing up. "i guess i should see cai bing now, she might get mad."

wenzhe was left there fazed as she looked up and wondered. "they're not dating aren't they?" then glancing at the door before shrugging. "i'll never know honesty."

"know a spot we can read together?" ruiqi asked as they walked through the hallways of the building, side by side as they past through the quiet halls in the middle of the night, hands intertwined together.

"hm... a spot? i looked for one before i went to see you, it seems like every place is occupied, i don't really have some place in my mind, but i want to be with you for a while." luofei stated, looking at ruiqi, ruiqi flushed but nodded.

everyone today seems like they all needed an alone time together, after all it isn't that nice to be always around and surrounded by cameras and staffs all the time.

although luofei and ruiqi are open with their affection for some to see, nothing's better than an alone time just the two of them together in peace.

"i think i know somewhere." ruiqi stated her face suddenly turning determined. luofei looked at ruiqi, surprised, yet she smiled and nodded. "okay, you can take me wherever you want."

and there they were, in the emergency stairs, sitting down and reading in silence, though ruiqi wasn't sure if anyone would see them, she still gave this a shot, after all it's not like anyone would think of this in a bad way.

but luofei was leaning in her shoulder as they both read the manga.

without noticing they were footsteps right behind them, two pairs to be exact.

"sury? luofei? why are you here?" ruiqi was surprised as soon as she heard the familiar voice, luofei and her immediately scooted away from each, ruiqi scoffed and accidentally lets go of the manga, luckily luofei catched it. "shit! xiao what the fuck was that!?" ruiqi half yelled and whispered as she looked behind them to see xiaoting and yurina standing just at the stairs.

"i said why are the two of you here? isn't this the emergency stairs? hell, can you just find any other place? like your room?" xiaoting stated, brows creased together as she looked at ruiqi with disbelief.

"well, hikaru and jiyoon might disturb us, plus it's none of your business!" ruiqi sighed as she looked away. xiaoting scoffed and looked at luofei.

"how about your room luofei?" xiaoting asked, a little softer in tone. "well, bora-unnie had things to do, it isn't nice for me to disturb her." xiaoting nodded as she got an answer.

"at least luofei knows how to answer properly, unlike a certain one." xiaoting stated.

yurina giggled. "well, i don't think this is a good place for some alone time together, as we were walking pass by, we saw a glimpse of the two of you, if there might be chance a staff sees you, you might get interrogated."

luofei nodded. "understood, if i can ask, where you to heading?" she asked looking at the pair of chinese girl and japanese girl.

"to our room, we just ate dinner and youngeun walked a head before us." yurina answered.

"you know what sury? go look for another place and stop bringing luofei around in danger." xiaoting stated, shaking her head. ruiqi clicked her tongue and rolled her eyes.

"no i am not!"

yet, xiaoting retorted."i'm pretty certain you are, now have some shame su ruiqi and be a nice little girl and take luofei in some private place, like the rooftop, hsinwei told me it was empty." xiaoting stated, her voice clear.

yurina nodded. "yes, i think it's a nice place to read too, we should get going now." yurina faced away as xiaoting stared at ruiqi's back.

"now move ruiqi." said by xiaoting before they exited.

ruiqi stood up and raised a middle finger at xiaoting, earning a laugh from luofei.

ruiqi and luofei got in the rooftop, it was indeed empty, there was at least some decent lights precent in the view and it wasn't so dark.

"great, now this is some nice place." ruiqi stated as they sat somewhere near the lights, luofei once again leaned in on ruiqi's shoulder as they continued to read.

"this is very comfortable." luofei stated as she looked at ruiqi with a smile. ruiqi's cheeks was red as an apple, nodding her head. "y-yeah, it is." she muttered.

it might be the temperature but suddenly ruiqi's cheeks was hot, her body felt warm against luofei's frame that was flushed with her body.

it was a comfortable feeling she welcomed and enjoyed.

after some minutes into reading ruiqi suddenly heard some soft snores coming from luofei, she stopped from reading and glanced at the other girl, adoring her cute sleeping face.

"hey, dolly. are you sleepy? we can go back now if you want." ruiqi whispered, her voice soft.

luofei opened her eyes, her eyelids felt heavy as she looked at ruiqi through them. "i... yeah. i feel sleepy." she muttered.

the two of them stood up, with ruiqi helping the sleepy luofei.

luofei giggled, and hugged ruiqi from her sides. "thanks, i enjoyed being with you, it's so comforting." she stated, her voice low yet audible enough.

ruiqi nodded. "i enjoyed it too."

luofei placed a small peck on ruiqi's cheeks just near her lips before smiling.

"let's go." she suggested, while ruiqi was frozen for a second or two, gradually waking up to reality and nodding her head. "y-yeah!"
