Song Hayoung (fromis_9)

| sigh pt.2

"hayoung...? wake up, it's already 10 am." as soon as hayoung hears the familiar mellow voice, she opened her eyes to be greeted by a sight she didn't expect to see.

y/n was looking down at her with a worried smile.

hayoung felt the heavy feeling on her eyelids protrude as she heaved a small sigh and a smile out of happiness, her eyes hurt and she was red as a tomato.

"y/n... you're back..." hayoung muttered, still laying down hopelessly as y/n watched.

there was relief inside hayoung's heart, happy to see the same face she's grown into, it bloomed flowers inside her chest and she had nothing to say other than she was happy to see y/n again.

the sun was bright, the windows were open.

"aren't you going to get up yet?" y/n asked, her voice dipped in concern as she saw the state of her lover.

hayoung felt tears fell on her cheeks as she cried out of happiness, the whole night got her so worked up and worried about wherever y/n went and now that she's here again— hayoung was only happy.

"h-hayoung?" y/n asked, crouching down to hayoung's level as she looked at hayoung whose eyes were dipped in tears and her lips curved into a smile.

yet, hayoung hasn't gotten up yet.

"i was looking for you last night." hayoung muttered, wiping her tears with her sleeve, apparently she hasn't changed clothes yet, as soon as she arrived she laid and cried until she fell asleep, she hasn't eaten yet too.

y/n's eyes were laced with concern for her lover who looked so worked up and tired.

suddenly, y/n felt guilty for making hayoung feel that way.

"i'm sorry..." y/n whispered, hand gently patting hayoung's head, fingers brushing on her scalp; her lips curved into a frown.

hayoung looked at her, her chest feeling as heavy as it was yesterday, as long as y/n has that frown on her lips, hayoung wouldn't be in peace.

"don't frown, i'm the one who should be sorry..." hayoung stated, lips pursed as she leaned in closer to y/n's hand, relishing the feeling of getting pats on her head.

it's what hayoung feared the most out of all phobias that she had, when she and y/n started dating, she realized how considerate y/n was to everyone, she cared so much and did so much.

even when hayoung thought it was unfair for her not to put the same amount of care as y/n did, she wanted to give it all— but it's just not enough compared to y/n.

y/n woke her up, cooks for her, takes care of her, understands everything about her, helps her with things, loves her.

hayoung was scared that if she didn't give the same efforts, y/n might grow resentment against hair, and she didn't like that, she didn't want that.

but everytime she reminds herself how she's being inconsiderate towards y/n's efforts and feelings, y/n would always tell that it was okay, that it was her choice.

even when resentment itself is inevitable and cannot be stop unless you do something before it grows.

that night in their anniversary hayoung knew she did something unforgivable at least, y/n's reaction, her disappearance— it pierced a hole inside her heart and it scared her.

she wondered what y/n felt, and she wanted to know.

"sorry i disappeared yesterday— i was just stressed and disappointed." y/n looked down, eyes showing the deepest of sadness flowing inside her heart.

and hayoung watched as y/n grimaced from what she did.

hayoung looked away as well and shook her head, before turning her head back at y/n.

"i understand that you were disappointed about what i did— i am disappointed too." hayoung paused, breathing heavily.

"i just forgot because i was too invested to working and i wanted to help you at least." hayoung continued.

y/n sighed, then she smiled.

"you didn't have too as i said." y/n stood up and sat on the bed besides hayoung, her weight sinking in along hayoung's, the bedsheets touching her skin lightly as she wrapped her arms on hayoung's petite body, securing her.

"i am already happy doing things for you hayoung." y/n muttered, leaning in and burying her head on hayoung's neck, heaving deep breaths.

it tickles. hayoung thought.

somehow hayoung loved the feeling of y/n arms around her.

"sorry, i just can't seem to shake off the thought that you might grow resentment against me because i am an unfair partner to you." hayoung replied, wrapping her arms back at y/n's body.

y/n's could hear hayoung's heartbeat, hayoung could hear y/n's breathing.

y/n laughed under her breath.

"i love you, that's why i don't care about the things that you don't do for me, i don't care if you don't cook for me, wake me up, take care of me— because i love you; and i'm okay doing all of this things because i decided to be with you out of all people." y/n muttered, blowing an air.

"i think there's just some times i feel sad you couldn't do things for me... i'll admit that, but i feel contented just doing things for you." she continued, her hold getting tighter.

"knowing you're scared to lose me, and not knowing what will happen to you if ever disappear— it's scares me you know." y/n sobs, tears slowly rolling down on her cheeks to hayoung's uniform.

"i don't know what will happen to me too if you ever leave me—" hayoung stopped mid-sentence as she felt y/n hug her tighter than before, not wanting to let her go.

"you haven't even changed your clothes yet! and i'm pretty sure you haven't eaten anything yesterday too!" y/n grumbled as she sighed and sobbed.

"i-i'll change later..." hayoung smiled.

"hmm..."

hayoung was happy, all the fears shaken off as she laid on the bed with y/n, nothing but y/n and y/n alone filled her mind and her heart.

she was very tired, but waking up being able to take a rest with her solace made every pain, sadness, frustrations, all of the problems go away.

and she was glad y/n was there for her.
