"what are you doing? you've been on that for almost 1 and a half hour!" y/n complained, leaning on her arms to her desk, her face moving closer to the camera. hyungseo laughs, her eyes shifted up to her screen, watching as her lover pouts, keeping an eye of her from the other side of the screen, she's been seating there since they started their video call 1 hour ago, hyungseo asked if she wants to end the call but y/n refused until hyungseo had finished her schoolworks.

"it's saturday today!" y/n yelled, slumping down on her chair, glaring at the screen, hyungseo shook her head, looking down back at her paper. "i told you you can hang up if you want, i won't finish this as soon as possible, you'll have to wait." hyungseo stated, eyes still fixated to her papers as she continued to write down things in her notes.

y/n groaned, looking up at her clock to see that it's already 5pm, they started the call at like 3:49pm, and waiting for hyungseo to finish isn't the problem, she can wait or even watch hyungseo for one day, even forever! but having to endure the fact hyungseo isn't giving her any attention is the hard part, they were supposed to be talking about their week, talking about things and just— y'know?

it's not that easy, they don't live near each other, it's not like they're far from each other, it's just y/n would still have to go ride a train and a bus to get to hyungseo's dorm.

hyungseo is an outgoing person, she's social and easygoing, talks to people with no problem, she's more open. y/n isn't, she only speaks a lot with hyungseo and often doesn't really communicate, yet y/n likes to visit hyungseo in her dorm and initiate most of their conversation, when they hangout together.

y/n is always inside her own dorm, she never gets out until it's needed, stuck inside her room and always fixated to her laptop, she often forgets the most important things in her life that hyungseo often reminds her.

y/n taps her fingers on her desk, her chin resting on her palms as she watch hyungseo do her thing, patiently waiting, it's to the point she doesn't even know what hyungseo is actually doing, she's just staring on thin air.

"y/n?" hyungseo called, y/n blinks her eyes, trying to find her focus to her sight and it landed on hyungseo, who is looking at her confused. "are you sleepy?" hyungseo asked, the girl closed most of her textbooks and notes, placing most of her things to her bags.

y/n confused, looked up to her clock again to see that it's almost 7pm, which means she's been spacing out and sleeping for a good 2 hours or less, y/n moved her chair, scratching her nape.

"sorry, i lost my focus. are you finished?" y/n asked, watching as hyungseo finished cleaning her table sat back on her chair, leaning on her own desk. "yeah, i think you should sleep already, you look tired. have you finished your homeworks?" hyungseo asked, y/n taps her chin, she did have some homeworks left unfinished— but she planned on finishing it tomorrow so...

"you have some unfinished right?" seems like hyungseo has read through her mind, y/n scratched her nape once again as she winced. "yeah, but i planned on finishing them tomorrow, so don't worry. i want to talk to you today." y/n stated, frowning, looking everywhere else but to her screen where hyungseo is watching her with a small concerned smile.

"you know i can help you with them right?" hyungseo asked, tilting her head as she stared at y/n.

the other girl stared back at her, thinking.

"but the reason i didn't do them today was so i can hangout or talk with you and something..." y/n replied, once again defeated, she slumped on her swivel chair, her mouth open wide as she groaned in frustration.

hyungseo laughed, placing her chin on her palms, amused. "if we did our homeworks together we could've used tomorrow to hangout right?" hyungseo giggled as she sees y/n slump deeper with a sigh.

"you're right..." y/n whined.

"can you come here today, as in... now?" hyungseo asked, as soon as y/n heard those words, she sat up properly and look at hyungseo on her screen, nodding slowly. "yeah, i guess i can if you want." she muttered, the softness and awareness in her voice made hyungseo smile, leaning away from her desk and placing her hands on her lap, bobbing her head.

"okay! if you can, come here and bring your things, we can hangout tonight and tomorrow if we finish your homework early." hyungseo winked, y/n stood up and from the other screen, hyungseo watches as y/n's tall figure gets up and takes a bag some things from her table.

"right, i'll be there as soon as possible, wait for me alright?" y/n stated, adjusting herself in front of the camera, getting a hum of approval from her girlfriend.

hyungseo hangs up from the video call, patiently waiting while she entertains herself with watching videos.

y/n took her laptop, her phone along with her bag as she left her dorm rushing to call a taxi fair, as soon as she hops inside, she made sure to check her phone for the time, tapping her shoes endlessly.

arriving at the train station, she muttered a breath of relief as she got there in time where there's not much of a big crowd, made sure she got a ticket and waited for the next train.

the travel wasn't long and she hopped out of the train, rushed to the nearest bus stop, hopping inside, a sudden wave of rush and excitement swarmed over her chest, every little seconds consumed she thinks about seeing hyungseo a lot and nothing else.

as the bus stops near the dormitories where hyungseo stays at, y/n muttered a small thank you of relief and ran to hyungseo's dorm, arriving at the front door and knocking.

the door opened and revealed hyungseo, who was smiling. "hi there y/n, come on, i cooked something for dinner, have you eaten already?" hyungseo asked as she led y/n inside her dorm, helping her with her bag.

y/n looked at hyungseo, shaking her head. "not yet." hyunseo clasped her hands, a bright smile on her face. "perfect! let's eat first?" she asked, y/n's face flushed yet she nodded. "okay."

the both of them went to the dining hall, a circle table in the middle with three chairs, y/n sat as hyungseo puts plates and the dinner in the table, smiling at y/n anytime she can. "there!" hyungseo sat besides y/n, gesturing for her to eat.

"thank you for the food." y/n muttered before she started eating along with hyungseo, there was pure silence, hyungseo eyeing y/n who is peacefully eating any my moment she gets a chance.

"y/n." hyungseo muttered, y/n turned her head towards hyungseo, with her right hand raised up, holding the chopsticks and a piece of meat, her left hand below her right hand in case the meat falls.

"say ah~." hyungseo smiled. y/n glanced at her before opening her mouth, with a chuckle hyungseo feeds the other girl.

after they ate, the two of them helped each other to clean the kitchen and plates, proceeding to hyungseo's room, pulling out y/n's textbooks and notes.

"ok, now let's start with your homework, it's only past 8pm, we can finish this before 11pm right?" hyungseo asked, leaning in to y/n as they sat on the floor, a small wooded table placed near them for the books and notes. y/n looked at her homeworks, hesitating. she really doesn't know if they can finish this this soon, i mean it's very hard for y/n at least.

"i— i think so." y/n mumbled, eyes twitching at the thought. hyungseo stared at her and then placed her hands on y/n's shoulders, making the other girl stiff to the touch.

"it's okay, i'll help you." she smiled.

a wave of relief washes over y/n's head as she stared at hyungseo's very sincere eyes, knowing every little intentions of hers.

y/n was able to actually start the homework easily, hyungseo guiding and helping her and when y/n gets a little frustrated, hyungseo butts in and helps her immediately.

y/n was more than thankful for her, if it wasn't for her patience, her sincerity and her kind words they wouldn't be able to start and even finish her homeworks in one laps for only 1 hour and a half.

"finished! see?" hyungseo grinned at y/n and she pinched y/n's cheeks when she realized the other girl has dozed off somewhere.

"oh yeah, thanks for helping me..." y/n muttered, leaning in towards hyungseo and burying her head on the crook of hyungseo's neck, eyes closed.

"do you wanna sleep already?" hyungseo asked, her hand on y/n's head, patting it softly. y/n nodded. "yeah..."

"ok, we should wash and get change first, then we can sleep together." hyungseo stated, y/n pulled out and looked at hyungseo, her eyes just open and staring at the other girl. "is there something you want—"

"i love you." y/n muttered, hyungseo's cheeks flushed, a smile forming her lips at the thought. hyungseo leaned in and placed her forehead on top of y/n's, their noses touching each other, she giggled. "i love you too."

y/n's lips curves into a smile, her ears red and her eyes full of sparks, and with her heart beating fast, y/n leaned in for a hug again, pushing every thoughts aside as she lets hyungseo's warmth wrap around her in the middle of the night.
