hyewon's small footsteps echoed through the apartment her girlfriend y/n and she lived in, the past few months when school started again, y/n grew more busy than she was, it's not like hyewon was jealous— in fact, she loved seeing y/n work hard for herself and the both of them, it shows how y/n wants to prove something, but after some weeks, y/n was too busy, she didn't have enough sleep and rest, and she looked more tired than ever, she never left the room.

there was once where hyewon had to sleep alone in the bed because y/n refused to sleep without finishing anything. she was indeed pressuring herself with loads of schoolworks, and hyewon wanted her to take a bit of rest for the week.

peeking through the white door, there, once again, hyewon sees her girlfriend nudging her face on the book, the small light in the dark helping her see from the darkness. the light from her laptop illuminating towards her skin.

hyewon opened the door and turned the lights on, only seeing y/n shrieking quietly from surprise. y/n moved her head towards hyewon, eyeglasses on the top of her nose, eyes almost closing and had a bags underneath, it was cute— but y/n really needs a rest.

"isn't it 10pm already y/n?" hyewon asked with her raspy voice ringing through the silent room, y/n blushed, hiding her face in the book afterwards due to realization and embarrassment. hyewon giggled a bit, before entering in and putting her two hands on her lover's shoulders, hearing a soft shriek from y/n.

after some seconds, y/n finally relaxed, putting her book down. "yeah, it is, why don't you go to sleep already hyewon?" y/n asked, chuckling through her breath, adjusting her cotton jacket.

"well— because you're not finished yet." hyewon answered, cupping y/n's face, her face in a stoic form as always, yet her eyes says otherwise, it shows how much she cares for her lover and how she wants to hug her right now.

"no need to wait for me!" y/n stated, putting her hands on top of hyewon's, hyewon flinched a bit with how cold it was. "no." hyewon shook her head, earning a confused look from y/n paired with a soft 'eh'.

"sleep with me." hyewon demanded, before kneeling to the same height as y/n sitting on the chair. y/n's face flushed in different shades of red, heating up from how hyewon looks at her.

hyewon pouted, taking y/n's glasses away and putting it down the desk, y/n blinked a few times, heart pounding in her chest as she feels butterflies in her stomach.

hyewon pecked y/n's lips, pulling away afterwards, that caused y/n to be embarrassed. "you've been studying too much and not giving me enough attention, it's going to be bad for you." hyewon stated.

y/n looked away. "i don't want to fail..." lame excuse. hyewon thought. without any hesitations, hyewon pushed her lips towards y/n's, y/n's eyes widened, as hyewon's tongue brushes her bottom lip, immediately giving in with a sigh and opening her lips for hyewon.

y/n rested her arms in hyewon's shoulders, as hyewon's hands snakes her waist, continuing the make-out session until y/n breaks out due to the lack of breath.

"i don't want to fail too, but i want to be with you too more." hyewon mumbled. y/n smiled, brushing her hands in hyewon's hair.

"let's go to sleep hyewon." y/n stated.

"yes, i love you."

"i love you too hyewon..."
