Cai Bing (GP999)

| i'm not your girlfriend

"bye dayeon!" you dayeon, one of y/n's friends, if not, then one of her closest friends, y/n bid a goodbye to her friend seeing as dayeon waved her hand back, as she disappears from y/n's sight.

y/n stayed in front of the apartment complex and was about to walk towards the building when—

"who's that?" a familiar voice boom behind y/n, making the girl turn her body behind her to see someone at least a few inches taller than her.

y/n swallowed, hard.

"cai bing?" y/n muttered, looking up at the other girl, who smiled.

"yes?" cai bing inquired, stone faced yet lively, her eyes glinting something unknown in them.

something that bothered y/n to say at least.

"why are you here?" y/n asked, still not answering the question cai bing gave her, so cai bing shrugged, inclining her head— cai bing frowned.

"you haven't answered my question y/n." cai bing stated, putting a hand on her waist.

y/n looked around, fazed.

why is she even entertaining cai bing in the first place?

"well, that's my friend, closest— actually." y/n replied, pursing her lips into a thin fine line, nerved.

yet, cai bing chuckled and nodded her head, eyes looking up somewhere but y/n's eyes.

"cool, where did you guys go?" cai bing asked, once again, but a little more tight.

y/n held a confuse expression, opening her mouth to answer but stopped as she realized—

why is cai bing even asking her a lot of questions?

so y/n huffed, glaring at the other girl as she responded.

"and why would you want to know?" y/n pouted, crossing her arms on her chest as she tapped her shoes.

yet cai bing laughed, she was ridiculed, cai bing laughed at her.

"i was curious, and plus i just want to know okay? why is that a big deal?" with a hum, cai bing countered, eyes glinting solely at y/n, who blows a breath and looked away.

"wow, well because you don't have to know okay?" y/n tapped at cai bing's shoulder before leaving.

she thought she could, until— cai bing held her wrist and with a sigh cai bing made her face towards her.

"why not?" cai bing asked, it ticked off y/n, the smug look on that pretty face, the smirk, the way her eyes glinted it, it made y/n mad, flustered.

y/n pulled away.

"because it's my life okay? it's a private matter get it?" y/n retorted, trying to mask up the flushed look on her face, she was red—

she knows it.

"ahh okay? not even me? cai bing should know?" cai bing chuckled, trying to reach for y/n face but her hand got pushed away.

y/n scoffed, blushing.

"yes!" y/n blurted out, blabbering her word, a single word even, she didn't know what to add.

"really?" cai bing was teasing her.

cai bing leaned in, almost only a few centimeters away from y/n's lips.

y/n stutters unfortunately.

"yeah, b-because i am not your girlfriend obviously, you don't need to know!"

y/n's hands trembled, as she tried, magic word— tried to reach for cai bing shoulder and push her away;

yet unfortunately, cai bing backed away, causing y/n to stumble in her feet and fall against cai bing.

"careful, you might fall." cai bing laughed under her breath as y/n had her hands on cai bing's shoulder, her head on cai bing's lapel.

realizing the lack of gap between their distance, y/n pulled away, dusting the non-existent dust on her outfit, coughing.

"u-uhm excuse me— i should get back already!" y/n excused herself before trying to leave but cai bing wouldn't let her.

"hey come on! wait!" y/n stopped from her tracks, abruptly facing cai bing, faking her reluctancy.

"what?" y/n asked, trying to get her face to be as hard as cai bing, but she looked stiff.

cai bing opened her arms, tilting her head as she raised her brows.

"are you seriously gonna leave me here?" cai bing asked, lips curving into a thin smile.

there was a glint in y/n's eyes as she looked at cai bing.

y/n blinked her eyes, before looking back at the building then to cai bing.

"weren't you the one who came here?" y/n countered.

cai bing sighed, bring her arms down to her side again as she nodded.

"i thought you'd want to see me." cai bing answered.

y/n's heart skipped, more than one beat.

"why would you think so?" y/n was denying it, she was obviously—

it embarrassed her more to admit she liked cai bing.

"because i think so? and plus i wanted to see you y'know?" cai bing smiled, laughing softly.

y/n flushed, and cai bing swore she saw y/n's ear become red.

"what am i suppose to reply?" y/n laughed sheepishly, unable to match cai bing's energy.

"look," cai bing pulled, no, held y/n's hand softer than before.

"i want to see you okay? because why not? i mean if i like you— why wouldn't i not want to go all the way here just to bother and ask you." cai bing chuckled, her eyes squinting at y/n, who blew an air.

"w-well, how would i know?" y/n was more obvious than what she think.

"because you're red and blushing." cai bing pushed back some hair out of y/n delicate face.

heaving a small huff.

"there, now i can see that little blush better." cai bing teased her.

"shut up." y/n muttered, trying her best not to smile, tried but failed.

"wanna go out with me tomorrow?" cai bing asked, seeing the faint smile on the other girl.

y/n looked at cai bing.

now actually smiling as she nodded.

"sure."
