A few days later

"Sup sis! " Lo'ak said with a suspiciously large grin on his face

Tyane'nor looked up from the arrow she was making, and narrowed her eyes "What do you want?"

"What I can't ask how my fav-" She raised an eyebrow

"OK FINE. Kiri, Spider, Tuk and I want to play a bit in the forest"

"Okay, 1-Did you ask Dad? 2-why in Eywa's name are you dragging Tuk with you?"

"1- Because Tuk was gonna snitch. 2- I didn't ask Dad but that brings us to why I'm here" he started with exaggerated hand gestures the cleared his throat "Since you are one of the strongest warriors of the clan and my sister we decided that it will be a good idea, considering the tiny possibility of us getting in danger, to let you know that you can come with us "

"Oh, I can come!" She feigned gratitude, and Lo'ak almost bought it for a second"Thank you, Oh so Mighty..." She got up and pretended to bow "...Skawng" deadpan.

"Cme'on Ty, I can't protect'em all on my own if things went south" Lo'ak pleaded

She debated telling him that he is one of the people she will have to protect if she agreed to this, She debated telling Jake but Lo'ak was already in a rough patch with their father. So it was decided she was coming, but just for the sake of being a bitch she asked "How do you know I won't tell Dad?" and noticed her brother going a few shades paler, She smirked and he let out a relieved breath "you scared me" he said."I know" she ruffled his hair

"BRO!". "YO Monkey Boy" Lo'ak and Kiri called after Spider who was further ahead

They were running atop gigantic vines that served as a bridge between the floating mountains.

"GUYS WAIT UP!" Tuk Whined as her legs were only capable of taking small steps

"Need a ride, Tukitery?" Tyane'nor said as she knelt next to her sister and waited for her to hop on.

Tyane secured her sister on her back and said "Hold on" before sprinting to catch up with the rest, as Tuk laughed and lifted one of her arms in the air.

Tyane missed this although she didn't realise how much until now. Running and jumping from vine to vine not a care in the world, she almost forgot to stay alert to their surroundings

They have already reached the mainland now and Tukitery was getting distracted by a plant

"Tuk, KEEP UP"Lo'ak said

"Okay, Okay" Little Tuk answered

"Bro, why'd you bring her anyway?"Spider asked

"Cuz she's such a crybaby" He started mimicking Tuk "She's all: "I'm telling, you're not supposed to go to the battlefield, I'll tell Mom if you don't let me come""

"Lo'ak don't pick on her," Kiri said sounding disappointed as Tuk stuck her tongue out to him.

"What battlefield?" Tyane'nor asked, it was the first time she spoke to any of them minus Tuk

"Dude, you didn't tell her" Spider looked slightly panicked

"Don't worry it's from the 1st war with the sky people" Lo'ak said before turning and attempting to walk away

She grabbed his forearm "Lo'ak this is no joke this place can be swarmed with RDA Forces, you will be putting everyone in danger; your friend, your siblings, the whole clan"

"Alright, Alright if we see any RDA We'll all get the hell out of there"

"No, If I see any sign, no matter how small, of any danger you will all Follow my orders no questions asked. Clear?"

When all of them mumbled yes's she turned to Lo'ak and looked him in the eyes "Promise me" he rolled his eyes so she squeezed his forearm "Lo'ak I'm being serious" she pleaded, he sighed "I promise, Can we go now?"

Sometime Later Lo'ak was climbing into a broken aircraft, Spider following him

"Are there any dead bodies up there?" Tuk asked and Tyane chuckled, Looking around Tyane noticed that Kiri was missing "Where's Kiri?"

They found her sleeping on her side on the grass with multiple Atokirina floating around her, Tyane approached her and started shaking her awake gently careful not to startle her sister or the pure spirits.

"Are you okay?"Spider asked as he knelt next to Kiri mimicking Tyane's posture

"I was doing that thing again wasn't I?" Kirir asked

"Yeah, you were" Spider answered as gently pushed an Atokirina out of the way with his hand, Tyane'nor never particularly liked or disliked the boy but there were moments when her brain struggled to comprehend what the hell did he think he was doing

"Ty! I found something!" Lo'ak

they followed Lo'ak's voice and they found him tracking trails Spider joined him immediately, Tyane'nor knew what these were, Military boots but much bigger, meaning there were avatars around here somewhere.

"We're always supposed to be home by eclipse"

"Tuk is right. we'll call this in and go home" Tyane spoke with finality then looked around for any objections.

"Well we have to come closer we aren't even sure, what are we gonna say "We found a large footprint in the middle of the forest next to some trees"?" Lo'ak argued

"Lo'ak you promised". "Relax we'll make a run for it if it turned out to be RDA"

She should have known better than to think Lo'ak if it made him look in any way 'uncool' in front of Spider he'd do anything to make that boy think he's the cooler brother

They followed the footprint to a bush behind the old shack

"We were never supposed to come here"Kiri whispered "Dad is going to ground you for life"

"Lo'ak please we have to go" Tyane begged he ignored her

"Bro we've got to check this out let's go"Lo'ak told spider

She was fed up "Enough, Lo'ak." she said firmly "You will call this in right now and we will go back. It is NOT up for negotiation"

"Fine" He hissed and pressed a finger to his comm "Devil dog... Devil dog this is Eagle Eye over"

"Eagle Eye send your traffic" we heard Jake's voice through the comm

"I got eyes on some guys, they look like avatars... but they're in full camo and carrying ARs, there's six of them. over."

"What's your pose? over."

"uhm... we're at the old shack"

"Who's we?"

"Me, Spider, Tyane , Kiri...and Tuk"

"Son you listen to me very carefully, pull back right now do not make a sound. follow Tyane and she will get the hell out of there. Move. Copy?"

"Yes Sir. Moving out"
