By the time the stairs arrived, Akane picked the skateboard up. Now jogging through the stairs, she came across Satotz and glanced at him then left him behind.

She waited at the top after her Satotz came and saw her. He was not surprised he has already seen her using 'Ten' this whole time, although he doesn't know how strong she is.

Later Gon and killua arrived, they both didn't even see her crossing them this made killua only more wary of her but Gon didn't think much of it.
Akane saw everything play out as in canon, some random monkey arrived and started pulling some tricks.

Akane:'So, with this I can confirm that things will happen just like in canon but...why? Is the concept of fate manipulating them? If so, why is it playing exactly like canon? Well, there are many more questions in my head but for now....'

Akane took out a gun which she just created from her construction technique and fired at the monkey which is impersonating satotz, she increased the speed of the bullet 10 times than normal, and she fired 6 bullets before hisoka could shoot his cards.

Everyone's focus shifted to Akane, for one she is pretty and second, she is deadly. They didn't expect her to shoot down the human-looking figure.

"I'm getting tired of this farce, hey mister, can we please continue this phase?"

She put the gun inside her bag. Satotz continued the phase once again warning the group.

As she is 'jogging' toward the next phase, kurapika followed her although he is trying very hard.

"Hey Akane, just how do you know about everything in the exam?"

"If you don't mind, Do I know you?"

Just then kurapika realized. They never really introduced themselves, only Gon knows her.

"Right, I apologize. I'm kurapika kurta"

"Akane"

"So, can you tell m- never mind, Can you please tell me about the next phase"

"I don't know, the first phase is common even in previous year's exams. That's all I know"

The participants all began to run away to hunt some viands while Akane began walking towards Menchi, noticing this Menchi asked " May I help you with something?"

While Akane is left to hunt, we can see Menchi blush a lot. She don't know why but she felt happy when Akane spoke to her. Of course, this could be the woman's hatsu but she didn't feel any change in the aura. So, she thought she liked Akane due to her beauty and charisma.

Akane hunted the viand and cooked it uniquely, making it look like a fancy dish.
When she gave the dish to the examiners, they were surprised as they received common burnt pig until then.

Even buhara who had a negative impression of Akane changed his opinion when he tried the food.

"I'm fine, I just want this phase to finish" Again, she replied nonchalantly. She just wants to get done with this exam.

She finished preparing her sushi, while kurapika and the squad copied her although they aren't sure if their dishes will taste the same as Akane's.

This time also, Akane passed with flying colours. Although, Menchi failed others.

"Hey, that's unfair. That girl is able to win only because she can cook.... as a girl is supposed to. Second, I don't give a damn about your cooking exam. I wanted to be a criminal hunter, not some weak gourmet hunter who can only cook"

This enraged Menchi who began to scare him with his Ren as he is looking down on them however she immediately stopped it as she knows she can kill them accidentally. However this one second is enough for the guy and the most of the non-nen users to get scared. Then she began to conjure her knives while also explaining what a gourmet hunter does.

She failed all of them except Akane. But just in time, Netero arrived and changed the exam just like in canon. He even told Akane that she doesn't need to participate in it as she has already passed to which Akane gladly agreed and slept in the airship.

While waiting in the airship, she expanded her aura to use 'en' while keeping it in 'in'. She could maintain it in 500 meter radius perfect round figure. Due to her potential and talent, she was able to master it when used once. After getting the feel of menchi's room, she retracted her aura.
