Too Young to be a Dad (Peter Parker x fem!Stark reader)

(Mentions of teen pregnancy and negative reaction to it!)

Peter stared at the wall in disbelief. He'd just snuck back into his room after going over to the Avengers Tower where you lived. You'd called him in a slight panic and asked to come over right away. As your boyfriend, Peter would do anything for you, so he dropped what he was doing and raced the the Tower as quickly as he could. He never expected what came next.

"Y/N? What's wrong?" Peter asked the minute he saw you. You were sitting on the floor at the end of your bed. You looked up at him and he could see that your eyes were red. It was very obvious that you had been crying. "Pete...I'm so sorry." Peter cocked his head in confusion. You reached out with a shaky hand and handed him something. Peter glanced down and realized what it was. A pregnancy test. A positive pregnancy test.

"B-But...We...It was only one time," Peter whispered. You nodded and your lip began quivering again. "I'm too young for this, Y/N. We're too young for this! Oh man, Stark is gonna kill me then bring me back to life and kill me again! Not to mention I'm freakin' Spiderman and your dad is Iron Man. It's dangerous." You started sobbing again and Peter immediately regretted losing his cool.

"Hey, I'm sorry. I'm just surprised is all. Really. Tell me how I can help?" You didn't answer. Your sobs were coming too quickly. Peter sank down to the floor and hugged you close to him. "I'm sorry, Y/N. I was really hoping to not be a dad in high school. I was hoping to be married before we had kids... and your dad really is going to kill me. But, I promise I'll be the best dad I possibly can. I promise." You sniffled and nodded. "I'm so sorry, Peter." Peter gave you a smile and hugged you closer. "Hey, it takes two." Again, you nodded. "How are you gonna tell my dad? And Aunt May?" Peter sighed. "We'll figure it out."

"Peter?" Peter shook his head to clear out his thoughts. "You okay? I've been calling your name for five minutes." Peter felt his eyes welling up with tears and May noticed at once. In an instant, she was on the bed next to him, wrapping an arm around him. "I really messed up, Aunt May," Peter whispered before dissolving into tears.

The next day, Peter had calmed down. After a very stern lecture from May about not being careful and the responsibility of being a parent, Peter had called you to set a time to talk to your father. That scared him, and you, more than anything in the word. Tony had the ability to blast Peter away in a second if he chose to. That's why Peter begged May to come with him. Hopefully her presence would keep Tony from hurting Peter too badly.

Now, he was sitting between you and May on the couch in the Tower. Tony's face instantly twisted in confusion upon seeing the three of you sitting on the couch. Peter felt his heart jump into his throat. You reached over and patted his hand before turning to look at Tony again. "Daddy? Can you sit down please?" Tony did, his expression still looking confused. "What's going on, kids?" You and Peter exchanged a glance. Then, you took a deep breath and mumbled something. "What was that?" Tony asked.

"I'm pregnant, Daddy," you repeated softly, but loudly enough for him to hear you. Tony laughed. "I'm sorry. I thought I just heard you say you were pregnant." You nodded and Tony's face fell. "Excuse me?" He turned his darkening gaze on Peter. "Tell me she's joking, Underoos. She better be joking or you won't live graduate." Your lip was shaking as Peter's legs began bouncing up and down. "I'm not joking, Dad. And don't threaten Peter! It was my fault too!"

"You're damn right it's your fault too! What were you thinking, Y/N?! I taught you about safe sex, didn't I?! Banner and I talked to you about it at length! You don't know the first thing about raising a kid! Either of you!" He whipped his head to May. "Why aren't you saying anything? Aren't you pissed?" May nodded. "Of course I am, but I talked to Peter about this last night. Yelling at him again isn't going to do any good." Tony shook his head in disbelief. "I don't believe this. I need a drink." Ignoring your cries of protest, Tony walked right out of the room.

You broke down in tears once more, collapsing into Peter's side. His arms immediately encircled you. May stood up and faced you both. "I hope the two of you know what you're getting into." May followed after Tony. "We really screwed up, Pete. Dad is never going to speak to me again." Peter gave you a little squeeze. "That's not true, Y/N. He's your dad and he loves you. He won't be angry forever." You rested your head on his shoulder and continued to cry. "Yes he will." Peter didn't know how to convince you otherwise, so he simply held you and let you cry.

Several minutes later, when you were cried out, the door opened and Tony walked in again with May. Seeing your red eyes, Tony's heart broke. He had caused that. Sighing, Tony walked over to you, gesturing for Peter to move. The teen didn't need to be told twice. He quickly got up and ran to the other side of the room. Tony sat and pulled you too him. "Aw, kid you gotta stop that."

"How can I? You h-hate me!" Tony kissed your temple. "I don't hate you, sweetpea. I could never hate you. You're my only kid, my pride and joy. Do I like the decision you made? No. But I understand what it's like to be a teenager. Believe me when I say I'm surprised you don't have any brothers or sisters running around." You let out a small giggle. "What's done is done. I'm not happy about it, but I'm gonna be there for you. And for my grandkid." You smiled and hugged Tony. "Thank you, Daddy."

Tony sighed and kissed your temple again. "Any time, Y/N. And Parker?" Peter stood up a little straighter and looked your father in the eye. "You better do right by this kid. I don't care if you and Y/N break up, you will do everything for this kid. Be a better father than I was when Y/N was little." Peter nodded. "I will, Mr. Stark. I promise." Tony gave a short nod and stood. "Good. Now that that's taken care of, I have a nursery to design." May quickly offered to help, leaving you and Peter alone again. "Are we gonna be okay, Y/N?" You nodded. "I think so."

Peter smiled a little. "Good. I'm sorry for freaking out yesterday." You gave a shrug. "That's okay. You had good reason." Peter kissed you softly. "I promise to be there for you and the baby." You hugged him close, relieved to hear him say that now that you were a bit more calm. "I know, Pete. Thank you." The two of you sat on the couch, hugging each other close.
