Iron Man's Daughter (Peter Parker x fem!Stark reader)

Peter's mind wasn't where it should have been. He was supposed to be listening to Tony about the upgrades he wanted to make to the Spider-Man suit. Instead, Peter was thinking about you. You had just transferred to his school and immediately caught Peter's attention. Not only were you pretty with (h/c) hair and shiny (e/c) eyes, but you were brilliant too. A genius. But a humble one.

"Earth to Parker!" Tony said loudly and Peter jumped. "I'm listening." Tony arched a brow. "Really? Then what did I just say?" Peter opened his mouth to reply when his breath caught in his throat. You had just entered the room, a bright smile on your face.

"Hey, Peter! What brings you to the Tower?" you asked as you plopped down in the chair. "Oh, I was just, uh, talking to Mr. Stark about our science homework." You smirked. "Oh, yeah? So it has nothing to do with the red and blue suit my dad's been working on the past couple of days?" Peter's eyes widened. How did you know? "Suit? What suit?" You laughed at his reaction.

"Not very good under pressure, are you Parker?" Tony asked with a chuckle before turning to you. "Sweetpea, I'm glad you're here. I could use your help with this one upgrade to Underroos' suit." You got up from your chair and nodded. "Sure thing, Dad. You helping, Peter?"

Peter just kept flicking his gaze between you and Tony. "Dad? Iron Man is your dad?" You nodded with a grin. "Yeah. I had to get my brains from somewhere. So, are you helping?" Peter agreed and followed you over to his suit. "H-How did you know?" he asked you quietly. "Why else would you be here, Peter? So, what do you think of Dad's upgrade ideas?" Peter flushed. "I really wasn't paying attention."

You laughed merrily. "Then, I'll explain." Neither of you had noticed that Tony had left the room. You went through the details, informing Peter of all Tony's ideas. Peter told you which ones he liked and which ones he didn't. You made notes and sketches, not realizing that Peter kept staring at you. Or he thought you didn't realize.

"Is there something on my face, Peter?" you asked suddenly, looking up to meet his gaze. He blushed again. "N-No. Where'd Mr. Stark go?" You looked around and shrugged. "Knowing him? Anywhere is possible. I'm hungry. Let's take a break." Peter followed out to the kitchen. While you were fixing something to eat, Peter stared again.

"If you keep staring at me, I'm going to think there's something wrong with one or both of us." He jumped a little. "Sorry. It's just," he started before letting go of a deep breath, "You're really pretty." You smirked again, but felt your own face heating up. "Oh...thank you." Peter nodded. "I've had a crush on you for a while now. I was just trying to get up the nerve to ask you out."

"So why don't you ask now?" Peter shrugged in response. "You're Iron Man's daughter. That's terrifying." You snorted out a laugh. "Are you really scared of my dad?" Peter nodded vehemently. "Yes! He could blast me!" You set down what you were doing and got closer to Peter. "He's only done that to one of my dates. After the jerk broke my heart." Peter didn't reply and you rolled your eyes again. "So, ask me, Parker."

"Oh! Um, would you like to go on a date with me, Y/N?" You smiled before wrapped your arms around him and hugging him. "Absolutely." Peter returned the hug and sighed happily. That is until your father's voice came over the intercom. "Parker, remove your hands or I will come in there and blast you." Peter instantly pulled away and put a little distance between you. "DAD!"

From his spot in the security booth, Tony smiled. "That wasn't nice, Tony," Natasha said and Tony laughed. "I know." They both returned their eyes to the screen. They could see you and Peter talking and eating. Peter was standing at what he figured was a safe distance, but you moved closer to him. Tony sighed. "You okay, Tony?" He hummed in confirmation. "Yeah. Parker's a good kid. Probably the only one I would trust with my daughter as far as dating is concerned. I just like to mess with him." They shared a laugh as they watched you lean over and press a kiss to Peter's cheek.

Back in the kitchen, Peter blushed harder, his face the color of tomato. You giggled. "So, Friday?" you asked and Peter nodded. He hadn't expected you to kiss his cheek and he was kind of in shock. "Y-Yeah. Friday." You grinned and hopped off your seat. "Great." You kissed his cheek again and practically skipped from the room. Peter sighed and felt his lips turn up in to smile. Then he heard, "I warned you, Parker!" Peter quickly grabbed up his backpack and ran from the Tower. He would have to be sure your dad wasn't around when he picked you up for your date.
