He's So Fine (Bucky Barnes x fem!reader)

(A/N: This songfic is based on the song "He's So Fine" by The Chiffons!)

Do-lang, do-lang, do-lang
Do-lang, do-lang

He's so fine
(Do-lang, do-lang, do-lang)
Wish he were mine
(Do-lang, do-lang, do-lang)
That handsome boy over there
(Do-lang, do-lang, do-lang)
The one with the wavy hair
(Do-lang, do-lang, do-lang)

You gazed across the busy bar at the man with the metal arm. His usually wavy brunette hair was slicked back off his face. You sighed when some girl wearing far too much make-up waltzed up to him. He gave her a smile, but shook his head before his eyes landed on you. You gasped slightly and turned away. Your face was red from the embarrassment of being caught staring. You'd seen the guy before and you knew that you wanted him for yourself, but you figured there was no way he'd fall for you. He already had so many girls after him.

I don't know how, I'm gonna do it
(Do-lang, do-lang, do-lang)
But I'm gonna make him mine
(Do-lang, do-lang, do-lang)
He's the envy of all the girls
(Do-lang, do-lang, do-lang)
It's just a matter of time
(Do-lang, do-lang)

He's a soft spoken guy
(Do-lang, do-lang, do-lang)
Also seems kinda shy
(Do-lang, do-lang, do-lang)
Makes me wonder if I
(Do-lang, do-lang, do-lang)
Should even give him a try
(Do-lang, do-lang, do-lang)

You swallowed the last of your drink which gave you the courage you needed to take a chance. You got up from your seat and made your way over to the handsome stranger. "Hey there," you greeted. "Hey, Doll. What can I do for you?" he asked, softly and you could tell right away that he was just as shy and nervous as you were. "First, you can let me buy you a drink. Then, you can tell me exactly why you have turned down every single girl that has come on to you," your words sounded much braver than you felt. He turned his eyes back to his drink, a light frown on his otherwise perfect face. Was this even worth it?

But then I know he can't shy
(Do-lang, do-lang, do-lang)
He can't shy away forever
(Do-lang, do-lang, do-lang)
And I'm gonna make him mine
(Do-lang, do-lang, do-lang)
If it takes me forever
(Do-lang, do-lang)

He's so fine
(Oh yeah)
Gotta be mine
(Oh yeah)
Sooner or later
(Oh yeah)
I hope it's not later
(Oh yeah)
We gotta get together
(Oh yeah)
The sooner the better
(Oh yeah)
I just can't wait, I just can't wait
To be held in his arms

After finally getting the guy to talk to you, you learned his name was Bucky. He didn't talk much, but what he did say only made you want to know more. You were even more determined to have some kind of relationship with him, but at the same time, you realized that it was going to take time. You decided that it was worth it, no matter how long it took. The longer you spoke to the man, the more relaxed he became. He even chuckled a couple of times, a sound that sent your heart fluttering into your throat. He seemed to be everything you wanted in a man.

If I were a queen
(Do-lang, do-lang, do-lang)
And he asked me to leave my throne
(Do-lang, do-lang, do-lang)
I'll do anything that he asked
(Do-lang, do-lang, do-lang)
Anything to make him my own
(Do-lang, do-lang, do-lang)

For he's so fine
(So fine)
So fine
(So fine)
He's so fine
(So fine)
So fine
(So fine)
He's so fine
(So fine)
Oh yeah
(He's so fine)
He's so fine

You were mesmerized by this man sitting next to you and when he asked you if he could walk you home, you barely registered the question before agreeing. You couldn't think straight when you were staring into those piercing blue eyes. You would probably do anything he asked you. When you reached your door, Bucky pulled you close to him. "May I kiss you, Doll?" You nodded, a small smile on your face. Bucky careful brought his lips down to yours.

He was so gentle, as if he wasafraid he would break you and with the metal arm, he probably could. When youparted for air, you gazed back up into those eyes and melted all over again."Would you like to come upstairs?" you asked, surprising evenyourself. You couldn't say you didn't want him in your bed, because youcertainly did. After all, he was the finest man you'd ever laid eyes on. He bithis lip nervously, but shook his head. "Not this time. I'd like to get toknow you better first, Y/N." With that, he kissed your cheek and began hiswalk home, leaving you standing outside your door with a stupid grin on yourface. The window next to you opened and your neighbor poked her head out."Girl, he is fine!"
