Epilogue

As music filled the dome - the empty greenhouse her father had built for her - flowers slowly began to bloom and grow, vines growing and wrapping around the white columns, trees sprouting and growing as tall as they could. It had been some time since she was able to play, lots of people were thrilled with the news of her return, celebrating for a week straight before everything slowly started to calm down. She would still be recognized whenever she went out with her parents or grandparents, all four of them smothering her with the love she hadn't received in ten long years and gifts at random times. The only time she found peace was when she was with Seth and Sara, or when she was playing her violin or meditating in her greenhouse, but she expected as much from the people.

When she had been taken, she didn't know the people were devastated, many others were accused of killing her, but Charlotte-Mae did remember one man that stood out. Because when she was sedated, she heard his voice. Charlotte-Mae saw him when she was with Seth, she heard him speaking to her grandmother, and her power unleashed. She had used the wind to push him outside, a rock wall forming behind him, allowing him to crash into the hard surface, vines growing out of the rock and pinning his ands and ankles, one forming around his chest, just like how she was restrained. Seth was the only one brave enough to grab her, stopping her from killing him, holding her as she screamed into the sky, as she struggled against his hold.

The situation was resolved when Sara showed up, she helped expose the truth, and the man was arrested. Now, she was playing her violin, and she had been playing for at least an our, deciding to end with Chopin. A soft sigh emitted from her nose as she lowered her violin, placing it in it's case,

". . How long have you been standing there, Seth?" Charlotte-Mae asked, locking her case

"Long enough to know that you play beautifully" Seth replied, causing a smile to form on her lips

Charlotte-Mae stool up from her sitting position, turning around and facing Seth, who stood at the entrance of her greenhouse with a soft smile on his lips. She was wearing a white handkerchief dress, one with spaghetti strap sleeves, flowing down to her ankles with her feet bare.

Seth walked over to her, gently cupping her face in his hands and placing a soft kiss to her lips, causing her to smile as she instantly complied. Her arms slid around his neck, allowing his hands to slide down to her waist, a content sigh emitting from her nose. Both of them slowly pulled away, letting the kiss linger, Charlotte-Mae resting her head on his chest, being that he had a bit of a growth spurt in the last two years, and she had only grown four inches. Her hands slid down from around his neck, resting them on his chest as well, letting him hold her, which was something he liked doing, everyone around them seeing it.

"You've been working on the greenhouse quite a bit lately" he commented,"is there something on your mind, Mae?"

"I find peace here" she explained "away from the smothering and other people's approach"

"It was expected" he replied, gently pulling back, but keeping his hold on her waist, looking down at her

"I know" she smiled softly, looking up at her One "I'm happy to be home, but . . ."

"You miss earth" he concluded

"Sometimes" she nodded slightly "I just can't help but wonder how Jack is doing, or what Alex is doing, or if Junkyard is still with them. I've lived on earth for ten years, traveled from one side of the country to the other, things there were very different"

". . . Then let's go" he declared, causing her eyebrows to furrow slightly "you, me and Sara. We can go to earth, stay for however long you wish"

Happiness quickly filled Charlotte-Mae, nodding eagerly and throwing her arms around his neck, causing Seth to chuckle softly as he returned the hug.

"There's so much I want to show you" she said, a bright smile on her lips "let's go. Today" looking at him "they will be so thrilled!"

Seth couldn't help but smile as she released him, bending down and grabbing her violin before grabbing his hand, pulling him out of the greenhouse. It made him happy to see that she was happy as well, he hated seeing her upset, but now they were going back to earth, to the start of a new adventure, even if it was only for a little while.

It was all worth it.
