It was dark, the stars shining brightly in the sky, nothing disturbing the peaceful night as Azalea slept in her large bed, an image of the galaxy projected into the ceiling of her bedroom, which looked so real. A man slowly walked in her bedroom, wearing all black to blend in with the night, a mask over his face, making sure to be as quiet as he could as the door quietly slid shut. He looked around the room, seeing that it was very neat, all of her toys were in place, her desk and bookshelf were spotless, nothing littered the floor, which would make his job easier. Slowly walking over to the bed, he removed a syringe from his pocket, removing the protective cover as he looked at the sleeping six year old girl, freezing in his spot as she shifted slightly.

He watched as she turned on her side, watching as her hair conveniently moved away from her neck, causing him to pierce her skin with the needle, quickly injecting the sedative. He removed the needle from her skin, placing the protective cover over him before putting it in his pocket, picking up the child and walking out of the room. The cold air of the night covered them as he quickly walked away from the house, holding no emotion as he pressed a small button on the side of his jaw, the mask fading away to reveal his stone face. With the sleeping child in his arms, he walked over to a hover bike, placing her in the cart on the side before mounting it, starting it up and riding away from the house. The wind would have disturbed her had it not been for the cover that formed around the side car, the man quickly riding over to the ports, where many ships laid.

But only one of the ships were powered up, causing the man to ride over to the dock. He stopped the hover bike seconds later, dismounting just as the cover was removed from the side car, picking up the sleeping child and walking up the ramp, making his way inside the ship. She was placed down on a metal bed, one that was hovering over the floor just as another man walked in,

"She's sedated" he informed

"For how long?" The other man asked

"Twelve hours" he replied "shall we resume with our business?"

"The transaction has been completed" he nodded "someone will want the child, especially with the abilities she carries"

The second man walked over to the metal bed, pressing a button on the bottom of it, watching as metal cuffs shot out and curled around her wrists, ankles and chest to keep her upright. Walls emerged on all four sides, one of them longer and bending to cover the top like a door, the man placing a lock on it as it began to shift, moving to a standing position. The first man gave him a nod, walking out of the ship and riding away on his hover bike, the second man walking away, the container following him.

.

Azalea slowly opened her eyes, feeling herself moving, her does widening as she lifted her head, only to be met with complete darkness. She pulled on her restraints, struggling against them, her breathing picking up as panic began to run through her when her container stopped, hearing muffled voces from outside. Metal clanging against metal filled her ears, causing her to quickly close her eyes and let her body go limp, slowing her breathing, wanting to calm her racing heart, the door opening,

"She'll be sold by the time the sedative wears off" a female voice said ". . . such a shame, so young"

The door stayed open for a little longer before it closed, Azalea peeking her eyes open, seeing that she was surrounded by darkness once more, but not hearing the lock being put back on the container. The only thing one could see in the darkness was a deep red ring, one that formed in the inner part of her iris. Her cuffs began to grow hotter, the heat seen through the darkness as they melted off, pooling down at her feet but not burning her like it would with other people. Azalea slowly opened the door to the container, poking her head out and looking around, seeing that no one was in sight, allowing her to slowly step on to the cold floor. The ship was moving, she could feel it, not knowing how long she had been there, but knowing that she was far enough away from home.

It wasn't just any kind of ship, it was a cargo ship, which was much bigger than any other, which also meant that it had more that three levels. She kneeled down, placing her fingertips on the floor, feeling the vibrations of the ship, and the direction of the breeze, causing her to follow it. A set of footsteps filled her ears, causing her to quickly climb up closest surface, which happened to be another container, jumping up and grasping a beam, pulling herself up and perching herself on it. Her gaze snapping to the container that she was in, pointing to it, slowly bringing her band back. A sudden gush of wind closed the door, locking it just as two men turned the corner,

"I thought I heard something" the first man said

Azalea watched as one of the men walked away, the other one lingering, as if something didn't belong. The child held her breath as he walked down the hall, checking the locks, but stopping in front of her container. He looked at it for a moment, picking up the lock from the floor and putting it back on, locking it and tugging on it to make sure it was secure, walking away after a hum emitted from him. Azalea decided it was safer to travel above the ground, through the beams in order to locate the escape pods and to stay out of sight with the shadows provided.

.

Lowering herself from the beam, Azalea released her hold, wind tunneling around her as it carried her and set her down, her feet lightly making contact. She ran to one of the escape pods and climbed in, her breathing slightly gravy as she buckled up, flipping a switch and pressing a button, causing the pod to close as it began to power up, which activated the alarm.

"Bay Four, Intruder" the speaker announcer "Bay Four, Intruder"

The pod ejected from the ship, Azalea reading the coordinates, seeing that she was too far to make it back on the pod, even with a wormhole. Her fingers tapped the screen as she placed new coordinates, ones that would take her to a planet that would provide refuge, one that would keep her safe until someone came for her. A scream emitted from her as a blast was shot at the pod, her head making contact with the screen, hard enough for it to crack slightly. Her breathing picked up as she entered the coordinates, only for another blast to knock her off course, her head hitting another side of the pod, causing her eyes to close. The pod lost its power as it moved aimlessly through space, a wormhole consuming it.

.

Azalea was still unconscious as the pod entered earths atmosphere, landing in a large body of water, breaking the glass that was supposed to protect her, but the water had other ideas. It stopped the glass just before it could reach her skin, unbuckling her as it carried her out of the pod and to the surface, gently moving her to the shore.
