"I have mixed feelings about this track," Daniella said to Max as they walk around the track.

Lando and his team were just meters behind them doing their track walk as well.

"I think it will be fine, but you never know. There are some corners I am worried about," Max commented.

"Yeah me too," Daniella huffed. "Hope the weekend goes without any mishap."

"It will, you worry too much," Max rolled his eyes. "Besides you and I only have two races left as a teammate, and since I am already out of the championship battle you need to win both these races."

Daniella smiled as she turned back. Lando noticed her and waved at her and she did the same.

"Max?"

"Yeah Dani?"

"Can you stop mentioning the championship?" she asked.

"Why? The pressure is getting to you?" he chuckled.

Daniella nodded.

"Lewis is a seven time champion and I am just a rookie in my first year," she explained. "And even though I really want to win I won't be surprised if I don't succeed. But at the same time, I am scared of disappointing everyone."

"Not going to lie, it's a huge burden," Max replied. "I won't mention the championship for the next two races but I bet others won't."

"Even Lando doesn't shut up about it."

Max laughed as he took a look at the McLaren driver.

"He is just excited for you."

"A little too excited."

"Be careful okay?" Daniella hugged Lando just before the qualifying sessions.

"You worry too much," Lando smiled as he hugged back. "I will be fine, we will both be fine," he said letting go of her. "Besides if you take pole position and win the race you will be champion...."

"Lando please, can we not talk about it?" she begged. "I just want to drive this race just as any other...I don't want to pressure myself."

"Oh okay," he nodded. "I..you know I always get ahead of myself. And I am just excited that my girlfriend is going to win.."

Daniella gave him a look.

"Sorry," he gave a cheeky smile. "Let's have a good qualifying."

"I love you," she hugged him once more.

"Love you too El."

"Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!," Daniella hit her steering wheel in frustration. She was on her last lap of the qualifying session, on her way to take pole position but crashed at the last corner.

"That's okay Dani," Nate said through the radio. "You are P3 so we have a good chance of winning tomorrow."

"Yeah..would have liked it a lot better if I got pole," she huffed.

Daniella got out of the car and walked to the garage where the entire team was waiting for her. Max gave her a comforting smile as she walked past.

"Listen, Dani," Christian stopped her. "I know we had our differences and you are leaving this team after this season..but me and the team will give everything to make you champion."

"Thanks Christian," she gave a tired smile.

Max came over and put his arm around Daniella's shoulder.

"Maybe don't mention anything related to the championship to her," he said to Christian. "She is..not coping well with the pressure."

Daniella slightly nodded.

Before Christian could say anything Max dragged her away.

"This track is not safe," Daniella said to Nate as they prepared for the race. "We all saw what happened in the F2 race."

"Yeah...but we don't have any choice," Nate huffed. "So please be careful out there."

Daniella nervously nodded.

Christian and Max stood at the other end of the garage as they observed the nervous driver.

"I was wrong..she has what it takes to win the championship," Christian said to Max, a look of regret was visible on his face.

"Yeah, but she is doubting herself, letting the pressure get to her," Max said as he watched his teammate trying to calm herself down. "She is more nervous than usual today."

"yeah," the team principal agreed. "if she wins this race she wins the championship," he gave Max a knowing look. "You know what to do right?"

"She is not going to like it."

"That's why we never discussed this strategy with her."
