Daniella was the first one to wake up the next morning. A pleasant smile appeared on her face when she turned around and faced her boyfriend. Lando was still asleep but judging by the time Daniella knows the alarm is going to go off and he is about to wake up.

She moved closer to him and placed a gentle kiss on his forehead, then his cheek, and then finally his lips. To her surprise, he started kissing her back gently as he wrapped his arms around her.

"Happy birthday love," Daniella smiled, pressing one more kiss on his lips.

Lando smiled as he fluttered his eyes open and blinked a few times to adjust to the light.

"This is a nice way to wake up on my birthday," he said as Daniella ran her fingers through his messy curls.

"You are getting old," Daniella joked, making Lando roll his eyes.

"I am the same age as you Ella," he replied. "So that means we are getting old together."

Daniella chuckled.

Lando slightly shifted so Daniella could rest her head on his chest.

"What are you doing?" Daniella asked as he picked up his phone and opened the camera.

"Capturing this beautiful moment," he replied as he clicked a photo.

"Lando..I look horrible," Daniella replied as she tried to tame her messy hair.

"Stop it!," Lando laughed as he managed to hold both her hands, and clicked more photos.

"You are being mean," Daniella slightly pouted.

"It's my birthday," Lando shrugged. "I am allowed to be mean today."

Daniella gave in and both took some morning selfies, which no one else will see as they never post their private moments. But both admit that they do look cute as they scrolled through the photos.

"I love you," Daniella smiled as Lando put down the phone and once again pulled her closer.

"I know," he smugly replied, followed by a bright smile. "and I love you too."

"I am leaving before you," Daniella informed Lando as she stepped out of the shower and started to get dressed. He was still in bed, replying to all the wishes he has been getting from friends and family. "I have to sign the contract before the sprint race."

"And here I thought you will be by my side the entire day," Lando joked. "I guess you don't love me enough."

Daniella glared at Lando before throwing the damp towel at him.

He laughed and threw it back at her.

As Daniella was almost ready Lando got out of the bed and stood behind her in front of the mirror, her back pressed against his chest. He wrapped his arms around her waist and rested his chin on her shoulder as they both looked at themselves in the mirror.

"I want us to remain like this forever," he said as Daniella caressed his cheek. "This is what I am going to wish today when I blow out the candles."

Daniella slowly turned to look at him. "I am never going to leave your side..unless you ask me to."

"Never.." he smiled before pressing his lips on hers.

Daniella left when Lando was in the shower and of course, they yelled each other goodbye. When he got out of the shower he noticed a wrapped box on the bed which he is sure Daniella put there before she left.

A chuckle left his lips when he opened the box. Inside there was a folded note and a silver bracelet, which he remembers Daniella looking at it online but when he said he likes it she replied at it was ugly.

"Liar..," he let out a laugh as he picked up the bracelet and was about to put it on when he noticed his and Daniella's initials engraved on it. He ran his thumb on the initials as he smiled brightly.

His eyes moved to the folded note in the box. He put on the bracelet before opening the note. The bright smile was plastered on his face the entire time as he read it. He knows that Daniella is not very good at expressing her feelings with words but reading the note proved him otherwise. The way she described how much he meant to her and the amount of love and affection she has for him made his heart beat fast, just like the time they kissed for the very first time.

"I love you too.." he smiled as he finished the note.

Instead of putting it back in the box he folded the note and put it in his wallet and planned to keep it there always.

As soon as the contract was signed and all the formalities were done Daniella left the Mercedes center and went to McLaren. She was happy to know that Lando hasn't arrived yet but is on his way.

"Where is it?" she asked Charlotte who pointed her to the nearby table.

She slowly lifted up the lid of the box, revealing the cake.

"He is going to love it," Charlotte clapped her hands in excitement.

"Oh it looks amazing," Zak joined them as he admired the golf theme cake.

"He is here, he is here," Daniel excitedly approached them.

Daniella quickly took the cake out of the box and put a candle in the middle. She was about to light up the candle when Lando showed up. He knew about the cake, yet he still felt surprised. He thought she was still going to be in the Mercedes center.

"Happy birthday," Daniella cheered as he lit up the candle and brought the cake to him.

Everyone around them clapped and wished him which made him blush.

"Make a wish," Daniella smiled, encouraging him to blow the candle.

Lando shyly smiled back before blowing and everyone cheered.

"I don't want to cut it," he protested as someone handed him the knife. "It will ruin the cake."

He admired the cake.

Daniella was happy he liked it.

"Come on dude, cut the cake," Zak told him. "I have been waiting to have a piece since Dani showed me the cake yesterday."

Lando reluctantly cut the cake and fed a tiny piece to Daniella. Even though the cake looked delicious neither he, Daniella, or Daniel could enjoy it as they have to race and have to maintain their diet.

"You like it?" Daniella asked as Charlotte took the cake away to distribute it among the team.

"I love it," he hugged her.

"Aww!" Daniel joined them. "You two are so cute."
