It was a very long day Daniella is tired and want nothing more than to take a shower and go to sleep. She went to visit Max to see if he was okay, and luckily he was. He was advised to stay at the hospital for the night which he obliged. He was truly happy that his teammate won the race for him.

After leaving the hospital Kelly called her to ask whether Max was really okay and suffered no injury. She spent a good 30 minutes in her car talking to Kelly and consoling her. She wasted no time after that and went straight to her hotel.

She gasped when she opened the door and went into her room. When she left in the morning the bed was empty, and now there is a Vanilla cake in the middle and a bunch of wrapped presents along with some flowers.

“Couldn’t you have come after 15 minutes,” Lando said as he came in view with candles in his hands.

“What is all this?” Daniella asked, feeling very surprised. She knew he was getting her a cake but didn’t expect all this.

“Your birthday celebration,” he smiled.

“You didn’t have do all this.” She looked at Lando as he lit a candle and put it on top of the cake. “And all these presents…”

“You know I am not good with presents so I bought a few things you would like.” He sat on the bed and pulled Daniella. “Come on, blow out the candle.”

She happily obliged. She made a wish before blowing the candle. “You are the best, you know that?”

“I know,” he replied smugly and laughed.

She cut the cake and fed him a small piece and he did the same to her.

“Happy Birthday Ella.”

Lando laid on the bed going through his social media  when Daniella walked out of the shower, wearing only her white bathrobe and her hair wet. She dried her hair with the towel and tossed it aside.

He sat up, unable to look away from her.

“Shall we open the presents now?” she smiled as she joined him.

He nodded, unable to utter a word because his throat went dry.

“Okay,” she looked at the wrapped boxes. “Which on should I open first…Lando?”

He snapped out of the trance and handed her the smallest box. “This one, you will love this one.”

Both opened all the presents and she  ended up loving all of them. The charm bracelet, the Nike shoes, the matching watches, and the ticket to Croatia for the summer break.

“Thank you so much Lando,” Daniella smiled brightly and kissed his cheek, making both of them blush. The kissed lingered a couple of seconds more than usual.

“Anything for my Ella.”

She took the gifts and out it on the table.

“Ella?” Lando called but immediately backing out.

“Yes?” she replied, feeling somewhat hopeful. She can feel a pull towards him and wondering if he feels the same.

“Nothing,” he shook his head. “Its nothing…”

Daniella nodded and turned around, feeling disappointed.

He touched the cheek where she just kissed and looked back at her.

Daniella bit her lips, thinking about how her heart reacted when she just kissed him.

“Oh what the hell…” Lando got out of the bed at the same time Daniella turned around.

Both met halfway and pulled each other into a long awaited kiss. Their eyes closed as their lips moved in sync.

Daniella’s one hand rested behind Lando’s neck as his hands on her waist  and her cheek.

Few seconds felt like minutes and soon they let go because of lack of air. Both smiled at each other as Lando’s caressed her face.

One kiss wasn’t enough, there was hunger for more in both of their eyes. They kissed once more before Lando lifted her up in bridal style and took her to bed.

They didn’t confessed their feelings with words but they did it with action.

Both spent the night in pleasure and bliss in each other’s embrace as a long discussion awaits in the morning.
