Warning: angst

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

Everybody has something they're running from. They don't know why they are but it feels so right to just leave all the bad things behind and run as far as you can.

So, that's what I did.

I ran, away from the voice of my parents. Into the woods behind my house, it felt like I was running on broken pieces of glass every moment I felt myself picking up the pace.

I didn't want to hear it anymore. The lies. I didn't want to look back.

I couldn't stop. I felt so detached that I stopped caring. I didn't care whether I was lost, not even the fact that my mother would be worried sick right now. I just wanted to escape...from reality.

My lungs felt like they were ready to explode as I stopped at a dead-end.

I sat down on the ground, feeling tears started falling uncontrollably.

"This is for the best..."

The words of my mother flashed across my mind. The best, huh? After all this time, you only found this day to tell me. That we're going to leave these memories behind and never look back? Was this a cruel joke they were playing on me?

A fraction of my mind believed her. Maybe it was truly best that we leave my father behind. But these whispers inside my head. All of them telling me that it was my fault.

I tried to calm down as I choked out each and every inch of my emotions. Slowly but surely I regained myself.

The ground beneath me started shaking making me scream and jerk up. I could feel confusion and fear take over my sorrows before the wave stopped. I looked at the ground for a while. Was I just hallucinating? What the hell was that? Something was under here, wherever I was.

Feeling curious, I started digging the ground with a rock closest to me. A few layers in, I felt a thud. I found a hexagonal box with purple linings, glistening under the darkening sunlight. At the sight of its beauty, I felt as though relief washed over me which confused me as a few minutes earlier, I was bawling about my parents' divorce.

I raised an eyebrow. The only question in my mind was who would've hidden such a beautiful box here. I decided to see what was inside and my eyes sparkled when they saw a beautiful metallic choker-a neck bracelet with a dark amethyst attached to it.

I was mesmerised, the brim of the choker was filled with intricate designs.

"Wouldn't hurt to try it on..." I spoke to myself. I took the choker in my hands, feeling some strange energy radiating from it but it felt right. I placed it on my neck and connected the clasp from behind.

But before I could do anything, I felt myself dazing out of reality.

~

'Where am I...?' I look around and find myself in an unfamiliar place but I couldn't control myself.

I looked at the mirror and gasp in my mind.

I was a miniature-sized purple-coloured creature which could fly.

"Master?" I involuntarily called out.

I was surprised as I looked around and saw a middle-aged woman rushing towards me, "Seven!" I heard what was supposedly the creature's name, "Master!" I heard before I blacked out.

~

I woke up in the forest again, gasping and looking at my hands, relieved to see that I'm me again.

"Hello," I heard the same voice in my dream making me shriek.

"Calm down!" I heard the same as I turned to see the same miniature-sized creature in my dream. Except this time, it felt too real. Its purple body was adorned with a lavender flower and eyes yellow like that of a primrose. As she moved, her purple antennas moved like stamens on a rose. Simply adorable.

My eyes widened in shock as she hovered close to me, "W-what are you?" Those were the only words I managed to choke out. My eyes softened as the creature smiled and looked at me, "My name is Seven and I am a Kwami," She said making my eyes widen.

"Uh...my name is (Y/N) and...I'm human," I spoke awkwardly. For a moment, I wondered if I was high.

"Wait. Where did you come from?" I asked requiring an answer.

"I came out of that amethyst on your choker. The Miraculous" She said and pointed to the choker, "Out of this? What is a Miraculous? How did you...?" I asked and looked at her.

"You ask many questions..." She said with a chuckle. "But, it would be my honour to give you an insight into what a Miraculous is..." She started.

"You are the holder of the Primrose Miraculous. And before you ask anything, I'm not talking about any primrose but the most beautiful of them all, the purple primrose; it was the favourite flower of the creator of this Miraculous," She said and looked at me.

"There was only one miraculous at the beginning but the creator saw that I grew lonely. So, the creator made other 7 miraculouses, including the Cat Miraculous, the Ladybug Miraculous and others. He continued to make more and more of them until his final breath." She explained, "We all lived in harmony but I had to split up from them because of an attack caused by the evildoers of the world and they were only after one thing; the Primrose Miraculous," My breath hitched.

"My previous holder was clever enough to bury me here. I was in a deep sleep ever since. But you have found me and now you are my new holder." She said, making me furrow my eyebrows because it was a lot for me to take in.

"Holder? " I said and touched the choker.

"The main reason for this Miraculous is that it was made to serve justice in this world." She continued. "Your Miraculous' weapon is a bow, arrows and a whip. These are a symbol of your standing, following the principle of initiation and the will you hold."

"The most powerful power of this miraculous is 'Roses Divine', 'Charge Attack' and 'Decoy'. 'Roses Divine' is the most significant power which enables you to summon purple rose petals at your command or de-evilise. 'Charge Attack', you'll be able to teleport and attack the Akuma from any angle. And for 'Decoy' you can make your doubles appear to confuse the Akuma. But you can use only one or two of these powers in one transformation and after you use either one of them, you have five minutes to spare before you change back from your alter ego. If you use two, you'll have 3 minutes."

She explained, "So you mean...I'm a superhero now?" I asked.

She chuckled at my question.

"Yes, you can transform to your suit after you say 'Seven, it's springtime to bloom' and then you can transform back by saying, 'Seven, it's summertime to fall' and then after that, you'll have to feed me something, or else I'll be all outta energy..." Seven explained.

"That makes sense," I said and looked at her.

"So, I'm guessing the Akuma is...the bad guy?" I asked.

"An Akuma is a black lepidopteran creature originating from the Butterfly Miraculous, used for evil purposes including-usually-world dominion," She said nonchalantly.

"What if the Akuma comes back?" I ask making her chuckle, "Oh, well. To prevent that you have to give the victim a souvenir of some sorts," She says and sits on my hands, "And to do that, you have to say, 'No more injustice in this world! And here's a token from a rose.'," She says cheekily making me smile.

"Remember, the Primrose Miraculous has chosen you with the solemn understanding that you, (Y/N) (L/N), promise never to reveal your true identity to anyone as the holder of the Primrose Miraculous and to only to open these folds at your risk." She asks and I nod.

"Yes, I swear!" I say.

"Okay...Seven, it's springtime to bloom!" I say and then she gets absorbed into the choker.

I feel my body levitate as leather forms on my body and blinding light on my face. To make it more fun, I start to do a little superhero stance at the end.

"Woah" I gasp and look at my body which was covered with purple leather bodysuit which enveloped my figure. It really felt like I was 'transformed' inside and out. I felt a surge of excitement fill my chest.

There was a whip strapped to my thigh and a bow and arrow attached to my back. I noticed that my hair was a bit full than my usual hair and I could feel my face covered with a masquerade kind of mask. I felt a bunch of roses scattered on my hair which I could pick and it could be replaced with another. I pick a rose and it was the most beautiful rose I had ever seen, a beautiful shade of purple made it overwhelming to look at.

I grabbed the whip from the strap, noticing that it was retracted and swooshed it open.

Swinging from tree to tree, I took the liberty to rush back home as soon as possible. I quietly entered my room from the balcony, not bothering to hear what was going on downstairs.

I placed the rose on my desk, "Seven, it's summertime to fall," I whispered and dumped myself on the bed.

"Today was fun, Seven," I said and made my bed for me to go to sleep.

"Yeah, the most fun I had in years," Seven replied and slept next to me.

"What will your superhero name be?" She asked me which made me think for a second. After a while, a thought appears in my mind.

"Well...Primvère Rosé would be an exception," I say and look at her.

"Oh, grapes and fruit nuts! that's the best name I've ever heard," I giggle at her choice of words. I go to my mini-refrigerator and bring a bowl of grapes, fruit nuts and black currants out, "Here," I say and give Seven the bowl making her eyes sparkle.

"Thank you!" She says and eats happily while I go and change into a nightgown.

I notice that the bowl was empty and Seven was already asleep making me get into bed.

I whisper a 'Good Night' to the kwami and close my eyes for sleep, slowly drifting off to sleep.
