(Y/N) (L/N)'s P.O.V.

"Has it really been that bad?" Seven asks me as I'm laying on the bed with my face flat on the pillow. A surging annoyance in my chest keeps growing as I toss and turn on my bed, finally looking up at the ceiling.

"You know it. Cat Noir's been a little too nosy lately...after he found out Ladybug and I know each others' identities." I say as I pinch the bridge of my nose. Seven scoffs, "Why does that bother you so much?"

"I hate being left in the dark, so I can't really imagine what he must be feeling..."

"You're worried that he'll hate you if he thinks he's being left out?"

"WHAT?" I glare at the idea of that. "No, he's not..." A bludgeoning feeling sets inside me.

"He's not like that..." I say with a frown, drooping down my shoulders likewise. She gives me a very serious look.

"Wait..." Her eyes squint as if she's realised something, "Do you have feelings for that cat?"

My eyes widen a little when she makes that assumption leaving me not having a response for a second.

"SO YOU DO!"

"NO! THAT'S NOT WHAT THIS IS!" The denial arguably feels weak at this point. So what if I had feelings for a mangy hot cat in black leather? It's not like he's going to be all aboard when he finds out I'm...me.

Right...I'm not the rose he wants.

"You're kidding, Seven. Even if I did like him...hypothetically, Cat Noir likes Primvère Rosé, not (Y/N) (L/N)." I say with an honest shrug, feeling a hollow pit at the bottom of my heart. Seven sadly gazes at me but I give her a soft smile so as to not transverse me feeling these sensations.

"I just...don't want to keep on having to lie and hide things from him and that has nothing to do with me liking him! I do not like him whatsoever! He's just a friend!" I nod firmly as I step out of bed and sit on my desk chair.

"Oh god." Seven groans with a hint of laughter at the back of his throat, "You totally sounded like Adrien just now." My mouth gapes at that comment before leading me to roll my eyes.

"Whatever...as for Cat Noir, I only have to speak with Master Fu about this."

"Primvère Rosé, Ladybug, Cat Noir and their new friend Rena Rouge have safely captured and caged the rogue animals that escaped from the city zoo! Another fine day for Paris as their victory brings citizens to ease!"

I wave towards the crowd as Primvère Rosé, standing on the roof with Ladybug, Cat Noir and Rena Rouge. They all cheer at us superheroes and we thank them until we hear Rena Rouge's miraculous beep.

"Oh! Gotta split!" I say as both of us head to the other direction and Ladybug follows suit.

"Hey, where are you going?" Cat Noir says which makes us abruptly stop and look back. "Rena Rouge is going to transform! I need to secure her miraculous, remember?" I say to which he frowns.

"So you're allowed to know her true identity and I'm not?"

Here we go again...

I sigh, looking at him as he crosses his arms clearly offended. I look back at Ladybug who nods and takes Rena away from the crowds.

"That's not what I meant, Cat Noir..."

"Oh? So who am I here then? The guy who's always left in the dark?" He asks angrily which leads me to bite my lip.

"I'm not having fun with hiding things from you too, you know?"

"But we're a team, remember?! It's not fair for me if only you and Ladybug share all the secrets and leave me behind." His voice is laced with hurt and frustration. I bite my lip as I notice his eyes looking at me in anguish when I fail to respond. Under this silence, I ponder what my next words would be but he beats me to it.

"I get it..." He sighs, "I'm just a game to you..." He says as he uses his baton to jump away from the roof towards the far end of Paris and I keep on staring at him until I can't see him anymore.

"Of course not. Stupid cat..." I grumble as I turn around to leave in the opposite direction.

"Lover's quarrel?" Ladybug startles me from behind and I turn to look at her with an alarmed look. I chuckle nervously, "What do you mean? We're just two partners who argued! We're not lovers!" I retaliate.

"Sure..." She says, sending me an amused smirk and patting my shoulder. I roll my eyes at her but then an idea appears in my mind, "Um...did you get the Fox Miraculous from Alya?" I ask to which she nods.

"I'll take it to Master Fu. I really have to talk to him," I say and she happily hands the box over to me.

"I'm guessing it's about a certain cat in black~" She smirks audaciously and I glare at her. As she ponders, her eyebrows furrow, "What about the movie?" She asks and then I remember we had this thing where all of us girls and some friends planned to go to see this newly released movie.

Shoot.

I think for a while and then come up with a conclusion where I pout at Ladybug.

"Oh, tell the others I won't make it. Tummy ache." I wink at her as I begin to swing away with my whip.

"YOU OWE ME!" She shouts from behind me as I chuckle, "I KNOW!"

I jump down in an alley close to Master's shrine and transform back. Seven plops on my palm and I quickly pop a blueberry on her mouth from my bag, casually exiting said alley as I walk towards the shrine across the street.

"Master..." I enter the room and see him pouring tea for himself. He looks at me with a pleasant expression holding out his hand for the box.

"Welcome back, (Y/N)." He smiles as I hand him the Fox miraculous. He puts it in the Miracle box and places the box back inside a gramophone.

"How's it going with deciphering the grimoire, Master?" I ask with a petite smile.

"Very well! I've found out many things that I've wanted to show you and Marinette! Come on in." He says and leads me to another room. Seven and Wayzz try to follow us but Mater forbids them.

"Kwamis must never know the recipe that can modify their powers. What if you land in the hands of a villain like Hawk Moth?" He says sternly and they both cower away.

Modify powers, huh?

I'm a little taken aback at the sudden discovery. He closes the door behind him and turns to me, "Now...tell me what's bothering you." He says as he hands me a cup of tea and I look at him with wide eyes.

"How did you know?" I ask and he laughs.

"You've got quite the frown on you, little rose. It's disheartening to see you like that." He says to which I sigh.

"Master Fu, Cat Noir's been asking more and more questions. He's tired of being kept in the dark and we also fell out because of this. I don't know what to do. Shouldn't we just tell him already?" I say as I look at him.

"(Y/N), tell me. Do you put the noodles in the water before the water boils?" He asks me out of the blue whilst mixing something on a large cauldron.

"Uh...no?"

"Exactly. That's because there is a time for everything." He says as he continues to pour and add different things to the mix.

"What are you making, Master?" I ask as I try to take a closer look at the cauldron.

"When fed with a blend of specific ingredients, the Kwamis can grant special powers." This piques my interest as I lean in towards it.

"Each power's specific mix is lister here encoded in the grimoire." He gestures to the pictures of the spellbook as he swipes them from the tablet. "I've deciphered most of the ingredients." He says as I step back and take a seat on a chair.

"That's amazing, Master..." I say as I'm still in awe at the fact.

"That's the power of the Miraculous. For example, to trigger aquatic powers, you need 'a branch from the dragon king's garden', that's seaweed. Then, 'secret kept in a shell', that's oyster pearl. But the third one..." He pauses exasperated.

"What about it?"

"The grimoire says the third ingredient 'a tear of joy' which I have been unable to figure out and it is required for every blend." He grumbles before his eyes brighten, "Oh! Maybe it could be some dancing ant honeydew!" He says and put a drop of the said ingredient into the cauldron causing the mix to erupt.

"Maybe I've finally got the right mix!" He says hopefully which makes me smile.

"Let's try it out on Wayzz!" He says and pours a little bit of the mix into a small bowl. We both excitedly hop out of the room to where the Kwamis are and he hands the bowl to the Turtle Kwami.

Whilst sharing a look with Seven, he sips it and then smiles.

"This might be it!" He says cheerily to which Master Fu cheers. With the Turtle Miraculous, Master Fu gets ready in a stance.

"Wayzz! Power up!" He chants and we wait for the Kwami to transform but there's no change. Wayzz looks at himself, "Add a little salt, maybe?" He says reluctantly and the older man slumps down on his futon.

"Failed again..." He says to which I pat his shoulder.

"Don't worry, Master. We'll try till the day ends!" I say with a hopeful brim and he nods.

"I'll call Marinette! Since she's smarter than anyone in my class, she'll definitely-" I stop myself as the pain strikes me and I drop to the ground with agonising pain in my chest.

"(Y/N)..." Master Fu picks me up.

"Guess you know what that means..." I say with a smile as I gesture Seven to follow me, "Good luck with finding it! I'll be back with Marinette as soon as we capture the Akuma!" I say and run out of the shrine.

"Good luck!" Master exclaims from behind me. I run towards the same alley as before.

"We're in the clear!" I say to Seven, getting ready in my stance.

"Seven, it's springtime to bloom!" I chant and transform into Primvère Rosé.

The ground rumbles as I jump onto a roof and my eyes widen at the sight of waves of water flooding the streets of Paris.

"What the heck is going on...?" I mumble as the water stops at the level of the roof. As much as I despise the idea of jumping into the now ocean of water and getting wet, I know that the villain is probably inside there. Also, I can't swim...

With a huge breath of air, I dive into the water, hyperventilating for a bit as the water stings my eyes. I finally get the hang of it and carry myself along the waves, gripping onto buildings so I don't sink.

Fishes, sharks, turtles, seaweed growing on walls and cars floating...Paris is now submerged into an ocean.

Not a minute and I can already feel my lungs burn with the back of oxygen. I reach the surface and gasp for air before taking a huge breath and going in the water once more. This time, I see two figure swimming further ahead of me making me hide.

One of them is Kim, my classmate and the other, I'm sure, is the villain. Kim seems to be breathing underwater with the help of the villain who pulls him by the hand. I use my whip through the water to pull Kim by the leg which alarms the fish-like villain.

She shrieks but I can't hear her through the water. The villain pulls him with a great force but I grip onto a building, resisting the pull. By this time, I start losing consciousness as I'm out of air. I lose my grip and the villain sends me upward towards the surface. I scream as I'm pulled down by gravity. But before I hit the ground, I'm saved by black-leather.

"Didn't know you were going for a swim without me, m'lady~" Cat Noir jeers to which I chuckle. "I don't swim..." I say as I get down from his hold.

"Aww~ How about you hold onto me when we swim then?" He winks to which I roll my eyes.

Ladybug jumps down from another building in front of us.

"Ladybug..." I grouch, still out of air, "Is there a chance you can get us a submarine?" I ask with dead serious eyes to which she laughs.

"What happened to you?"

"Can you?"

"Possibly, rosebud~," She says as she gets ready in her stance, "Lucky Charm!" She chants and a cauldron falls on her hands. A very familiar cauldron...

"Well, we can scoop up the water but it'll take a very long time." Cat Noir comments as Ladybug looks at me. From her expression, I get what we have to do.

"Cat Noir, you stay here as a lookout. Ladybug and I need to go...somewhere..." I say as the both of us turn to the direction we're supposed to go but he grabs my wrist.

"Why? Where are you going?" He asks with a stark look which makes me turn away.

"Uh, not yet..." I mumble as I pull my wrist away. He scoffs loudly as he turns away, "This again..." He grumbles from behind me.

"You'll come to know eventually, Cat Noir. I'm sure you get to know everything at the right time..." I say but he remains silent. Ladybug and I hop onto buildings and transform back, searching for Master Fu on one of the roofs.

"This way." We hear his voice sheltered behind a largely covered roof.

"I'm sorry, (Y/N). I haven't been able to crack the last ingredient yet." He says tremulously sitting cross-legged on one of his chairs.

"What ingredient?" Marinette asks confused. Seven and Wayzz cover their ears from behind, urging Tikki to do the same.

"Master Fu found out how our Kwamis can grant us special powers, in this case, aquatic powers through a set of different blends. But we haven't found out the third ingredient, that is 'a tear of joy'," I say to her and I can already see gears grinding in her head.

Master Fu sighs, "But I've already tried everything! The water from the laughing fountain, melted snow from the Mountain of Jubilation!" He lists to which Marinette nods.

"But have you tried the literal tear of joy?" She says and Master and I look at each other.

"No, we haven't." He says to which she nods.

"Do you have a feather here, Master Fu?" She asks to which he gets up and hands her one from the drawers. She then turns to me.

"(Y/N)...you have to trust me, alright?" She says and approaches me making me back away slowly, knowing what's coming.

"Just do it already." I groan and she starts tickling me. The feather sends me on a laughing spree and I can feel my lungs hurt from all the laughing.

"OH NO. I give up! STOP." Laughter explodes from me like a spring until a tear falls from the edge of my eyes. She scoops it up with her finger and puts it in the cauldron where a huge explosion, larger than before occurs.

"I hate being tickled..." I mutter grudgingly as Master Fu walks towards the cauldron.

"I think you have just found the magic ingredient, Marinette." He says with an excited look and pours the contents of the cauldron into various vials before giving them to both of our Kwamis.

"I knew you could do it!" I say to Marinette who flaunts.

Seven gulps the vial completely and smiles, "Tastes like blueberry jam~" She coos as I get ready in my stance.

"Seven! Power up!" I chant and watch as the Kwami transforms into a mermaid-like form.

"Aqua-Seven ready for command!" She says and then I chant, "Aqua-Seven, it's springtime to bloom!"

I transform into this mermaid superhero as Marinette does so too. The once-leather in my suit turns into variating purple scales and my legs extend to fins. My hair gets rigged into a low-classy ponytail with purple roses on the band with my whip and bow in the same position.

"Woah..." I squeal, looking at Ladybug with her mermaid-form. Before we get into the water, I turn to Master Fu with a saddened look. He looks at me with a knowing expression as I smile.

"Master...I think it's time you put the noodles into the boiling water..." I say as Ladybug looks at me with visible confusion.

"Don't worry, Primvère. I'll take care of it." He returns the smile and I dive into the water. The once dreaded feeling in the pit of my stomach turns into relief when I realise I can breathe and see underwater clearly. Both of us swim to the depth of the waters where we hear voices coming from the local city's pool.

There are Kim and Syren on the pool, the boy being in a bubble and chatting away with the villain.

"So, I see you've made yourself quite comfortable," I say which makes Syren turn to us. Kim's eyes widen at our appearance.

"You..." She growls and then pounces towards me as Ladybug swims towards Kim.

"You won't take my prince away from me!" She says as we battle, a little unusual for being underwater. I smirk at her losing her composure.

"Sorry to burst your bubble, Syren, but the bad guy never gets the prince!" I say and she growls charging towards me and pushing me down into the walls of the pool. A familiar baton stops her from going any further and I look up to see Cat Noir in his aquatic form. A playful smirk dances on his lip as he pushes her away from me.

"Good day for a mid-day swim, am I right, m'lady?" He asks to which I smile. He pulls me up and we attack Syren in arms.

"Never knew a cat could swim," I say whilst using my whip to capture Syren but she seems to be too strong.

Ladybug approaches me as Cat Noir takes on a duel with the villain. She uses her Lucky Charm, summoning a car key and it falls on her hands.

"The Akuma's in her bracelet." She says and points at it on the villain's left wrist making me notice it.

"We'll have to lure her out." She says as I take the time to look around the building, watching Kim and a large opening on the submerged roof.

"Distract her, I'll get Kim," I say as I swim towards the said-boy in the giant bubble. He looks at me in awe.

"I like your new outfits!" He exclaims and I chuckle, "Okay, kiddo. Hold your breath." I say and he does so as I pull him out of the bubble and we swim towards the surface from the opening. Once we do, I pull him up and tell him to hide behind the building.

I dive down and see Syren coming out of the building.

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY PRINCE?!" She screams as she swims rapidly towards me, followed by Cat Noir and Ladybug.

"I'm sorry but he took someone else to the ball~," I say as she chases me along the streets. I swiftly enter through a car, luring her into it. Before she can get out, Cat Noir strikes the car's hood and then the safety cushion explodes on her face trapping her. Ladybug closes both the door and uses the key--which luckily locks the car.

Ladybug secures her yo-yo on the car and we jump out of the water onto a building. Cat Noir uses his baton, tying it with the yo-yo to pull the car out like a fishing rod. As Syren is now above water, Ladybug unlocks the car and I grab the bracelet, smashing it on the ground.

"Time to de-evilise!" She chants and captures the Akuma flying out of the bracelet.

"Miraculous Ladybug/Primrose!"

Everything goes back to normal and the girl comes out of her Akumatized state.

"No more injustice in the world and here's a token from a rose~" I chant and rose petals form around, then hovering to the girl who gets swimming goggles on her head.

Ladybug's miraculous beeps and she waves goodbye before leaving the vicinity.

"Thanks for waiting for me, kitty..." I turn to Cat Noir who smiles at me approaching me.

"I'm glad you trust me, m'lady..." He says as he pulls my hand and kisses the back of it. A warm feeling bursts in me as I pat his head and turn from him.

"See you soon, Cat Noir~" I blow a kiss towards him and swing away.

Ladybug and I transform back as we approach Master Fu's shrine. He cheers at our arrival and pulls out a pair of boxes.

"This is what I have come up with while you were busy defeating the mermaid." He says handing both of us a box.

"Each vial contains a power that will be an aid for your future missions." Master Fu says, pointing inside which contains a bunch of vials to hold on to.

"This doesn't seem really practical..." I remark, turning to Marinette who seems to have the same idea.

"Only the ingredients matter. They can be contained in anything." Master Fu says to which Seven's eyes sparkle.

"I think I have an idea~," She says to which I get a bad feeling about.

"Ugh..." A long grunt escapes my lips as I crash on my bed. "You made me go all around Paris to buy these berries for you..." I scowl pulling the sheets close to my body.

"What? You had a better idea?" She knocks back with an unnerved look.

"And then made me hand-inject them with the power vials..." I complete my sentence with a huff, turning to look at the fridge where I placed the berries in small containers.

"I love you, (Y/N)~" She snuggles her tiny body on my cheek. I growl at the contact as I turn the other way.

"I love you too, you dork..."
