(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

"Nathaniel! What are you drawing?!"

I flinch at the sudden shrill of Mrs Mendeliev's voice. There goes my beauty sleep.

"And these artistic endeavours are clearly the reason why you're failing Science!" She practically screams at him as everyone in the class stares at the scene. I look at Nathaniel who looks like he's about to burst from the attention.

"I-I'm sorry..." He mutters as he collects his drawings, "You can go march yourself to the principal's office and show him that chicken scrap. Then you'll be really sorry!"

Okay...rude...

I watch as he stands up and walk towards the classroom door but then he trips and falls because of my bag. I help him up and try to get his book but Chloe snatches it away.

"Oooh~ Look, Sabrina, it's Nathaniel as a superhero! And look who he's saving!" Nathaniel's head snaps harder than Primvère Rosé's whip.

"It's Marinette! He's so totally crushing on you, Marinette!" She says as she observes the sketches which makes me seize it away from her grasp.

"It's rude to put your nose in other's business, Chloe!" I say and glare at her which makes Ms Mendeleiev walk up to me, giving me a death glare.

"Miss (Y/N), would you like to join Nathaniel to the principal's office?" She asks menacingly making me gulp and hand over the book to Nathaniel who rushes away with a sad expression. "N-Not at all, Ms Mendeleiev..." I say and sit on my seat before looking at Marinette who is blushing like a tomato.

My expression changes and I give her a sly wink which makes her hide her face in shame.

"And now, the next presentation group is Nino, Adrien and Alya..." Ms Mendeleiev says which makes me look at the said-girl in a shook state.

"Then the next group-Sabrina, Chloe, (Y/N) and Marinette..." She continues making me look at Marinette as I shake my head, "So unlucky..." I whisper which makes both of us groan.

"Uh...Ms., Can you add Marinette and (Y/N) into another group? Sabrina and I work much better alone." Chloe says which makes me look at her. "This is a group presentation...not a pair. Deal with it."

The bell rings signalling break making me smile and stand up until a sharp pain makes way through my chest, "A-Ah..." I wince before stumbling to fall, yet, someone catches me, "Are you all right?" I hear Adrien say making me blush slightly, "Yeah, I'm fine...just a little dizzy.." I mutter the end before standing up straight, "Thanks..." I say with a smile and look at Marinette A.K.A. Ladybug and signal her.

I give her an unusual gesture which makes her nod and walks towards me.

"Keep an eye out, we can't transform yet! We have to deal with this presentation..." She says making me shake my head, "I don't think that's a good idea..." I say as I pull her and myself away from Adrien. "B-But..." I say but she shushes me, "It'll be fine, I promise..." She says making me nod.

I follow her towards Chloe and Sabrina. "No, it's fine, Chloe, we'll do the work for you!" Sabrina says making Marinette and I glance at each other. "Is everything okay?" Marinette inquires.

"It's fine, Marinette..." Chloe says to her as she rolls her eyes. "Then, why are you being such a prissy snob about the presentation...?" I point out which makes her snicker.

"None of your business, Miss Nosey!" Chloe says making me sigh, "Uh...since I'm a part of this group, it is!" I state which makes Sabrina smile at me.

"It's okay, (Y/N). You, me and Marinette will do all the research for our project and Chloe can present it! That way it's equal!"

"That's not equal at all! Is this how you two work?!"

"Yep. We've been doing this since grade school, ever since I did her homework! And we've been besties ever since!" She says making my eyebrows furrow, "Any problem with that?" Chloe opens her stupid mouth, "Yes, that IS a problem! And that's not how best friends work!"

"Sabrina, Chloe's taking advantage of you. You don't have to do what she says, that's not how a real best friend acts..." Marinette states making me nod as I place my hand over her shoulder. Chloe scoffs and pushes my hand off for her so-called best friend.

"Not only am I Sabrina's best friend, but I'm her only friend! So, she better do what I say because, without me, she has nothing!" Chloe says as if that's a valid point, "Well, I'd have no friends than be friends with you!" I say and hold Marinette by her arm. "Let's go, Marinette, we have better business to do than to deal with than dealing with Chloe..." I say and pull her away towards the library. "(Y/N)! Marinette!" We hear Sabrina's voice which makes us turn around, "Hey, Sabrina-"

"I can't believe you guys stood up to Chloe! SO awesome!" She says making Marinette and we look at each other, "Yeah, uh...What are friends for?" Marinette says making me nod.

"Oh! So you are my friends! And I'm really super-excited to help you and have new best friends who help with the projects! We'll have the best time together! Then, we'll do the presentation and tell Ms Mendeleiev of the truth about Chloe! Sound good?!" She says way too quickly that I can't process it in my head, "Sounds....great!" I say without thinking which makes her hyped up. "Yay! Then I see you guys at the library, besties!" She says making me smile a bit. I look at Marinette, "At least someone feels happy today..." I say which makes her nod.

"What do you mean you're not doing my assignment?!" Chloe yells at Sabrina who looks pissed, "Marinette and (Y/N) are right. I-I don't have to be your slave..." She says making me look down, "We do not remember saying that..." I say in embarrassment as people stare at us.

Chloe grabs her bag in retaliation and I can only anticipate what's going to happen.

"Well, they didn't buy a cute beret, I did. And maybe I can lend it to you someday..." The blonde snob says deviously which makes Marinette and I look at her in disbelief. "Excuse me but are you trying to bribe her into staying your friend?" Marinette says.

"With a hat?" I say in pure amusement.

"A really, really adorable hat! That would look fantastic on me!" I hear Sabrina say which turns my amusement into confusion, "Really, Sabrina...?" I say which makes Chloe close in on me, "Excuse me but you're trying to steal my best friend from me!" She says making me scoff, "Well, pardon me but, as she said, you're just going to make her your slave!" I say and stand up as I push her with my finger.

"Eww, don't touch me!" She says and brushes off the spot where I pushed her. I roll my eyes, as I'm going to scowl at her again numerous berets fall on top of her head and she screams.

"What the...?" I look around to see the Akumatized villain on the balcony of the library. "No! My hair!" Chloe says. Then, an enormous hairdryer appears and follows her around which makes me look at Marinette with a nod and go to an isolated place before transforming.

I jump on the hairdryer and bind it with my whip, "Run! Get to safety!" I say to Chloe who nods and runs, "A little help?!" I say as I see Cat Noir on top of a bookshelf, "Looks like someone's being blown away by a hairy situation..." Cat says as I struggle to get the hair-dryer down, "Stop it with the puns and help her!" Ladybug comes to the rescue as I manage to knock it down and destroy it.

"Well, that guy looks a little sketchy," Cat says making us jump to the balcony and rush to attack who I presumed as 'The Evillustrator' but he manages to block us with a barrier from his magic sketchpad. "Where'd he go?" I ask which makes Chat stand up, "I don't know but he sure knows how to illustrate his point..."

Ladybug and I groan.

"Seems like this 'Evillustrator' is targeting you specifically...any idea why?" Cat asks Chloe as we were in her room, questioning her. Don't ask.

Ladybug and I sat on the couch whilst Cat Noir stood and questioned her.

"No, everyone adores me!" She says making me roll my eyes, "Yeah...because you're so adorable..." Ladybug and I say in unison with a sarcastic tone which makes Chloe squeal, "Yesss! Ladybug and Prim just said I'm adorable!" She says making me groan internally.

She squeezes between us, "We should totally take a picture together!" She says and takes the picture making me groan, "That was unnecessary..." I mutter.

"I look great, of course. But your smiles are a little wonky..." She says making me roll my eyes in annoyance.

"Hey, Prim! Let's take another!" She says making me sigh as she put her arm around my shoulders. As soon as she takes the picture, I softly push her away, "Sorry, I'm a little camera-shy..." I mutter and walk over to Ladybug.

"Looks like someone's got a fan..."

"Yeah, right..." Ladybug says and then picks up a paper from the couch. "So what's the deal? Why're you guys acting so weird? C'mon, you gotta admit that having this girl worship you is pretty awesome..." Cat says just as I take a glance at the paper. It's a drawing of her as Marinette and Nataniel in the picture except it seems that Chloe seems to have drawn a moustache and some glasses on her face.

"Ugh, seriously?!" She says and throws the paper away, "Okay! That's it!" She says snapping me out from my disgust. "W-Wait, Ma-I mean Ladybug!" I say and follow her.

"Are you kidding?! What if the Evillustrator attacks her again?!" Cat says making her groan, "Then you stay!" She says making my eyes widen, "Hey! What are you doing?!" I say and grab her wrist and drag her away from Cat Noir.

"I know you have some 'history' with Chloe but you can't let this drag you down! We have to protect her!" I whisper to her which makes her roll her eyes, "Whatever! I'll see you guys later!" She says and jumps onto the railing, "What do you mean 'later'?" Cat says making her turn around, "You're the one who wants to protect her. You don't need me so, later!" She says and jumps off, swinging for building to building.

"Ugh, I'll go talk to her..." I mutter. "What?! You're gonna leave me here too?!" He pouts which makes me snicker, "I know you can take care of her, kitty~ I'll just go and talk to her, you know, Girl talk~," I say and tease him with a wink before swinging away and following Ladybug.

She enters her house above the bakery and jumps down an opening which makes me jump down with her and transform back to (Y/N).

"Hey!" I call out to her which makes her sigh, "I'm sorry. It's just Chloe! She fires up this little red bug!" She says making me smile, "It's okay, let it out..." I say and hug her.

"It's hard to keep cool, especially when I'm in school..." She says which makes me remember something, "Sabrina!" Marinette and I say in unison.

I check my phone while she checks hers. "Ooh...that's a lot of missed calls..." I say and swipe through my phone.

"Looks like you got yourselves a new best friend..." Seven and Tikki state making us frown, "Ugh..." I groan and sit in her lounge.

Suddenly, we hear someone outside the window, which makes Seven and Tikki hide. Before we can do anything about it, the Evillustrator erases one of the windows in Marinette's room and enters.

"I-It's you! From the library!" Marinette says which makes me stand in front of her and defend her, "What are you doing here?" I say and look at him with my hand on my chest. "You were going to hurt Chloe!"

He frowns upon hearing her name, sending a cold hard glare towards us.

"Chloe is cruel and selfish! She deserved it!"

"You aren't here to h-hurt us, are you?" I ask which makes his eyes widen, "Of course not! You're Marinette and (Y/N)! Marinette is beautiful and sweet and perfect and (Y/N), you helped me when others were laughing, heck, you even stood up to Chloe to defend Marinette! I can never hurt you both!" He says making Marinette and I stare at each other in silence.

"Wow...that's...uh, very...um, flattering." Marinette says making me nod, "Y-Yes, thank you..." I say. Our words make him smile.

"Uh, I just wanted to ask you both...um...well, today's my birthday and I wanted to ask you whether you'll come to my party..." He says making my eyes widen.

"Aw~ That's so sweet..." I coo, "But...today's not the best night...well, you see, we have this project that Ms Mendeleiev gave us and we have to call a friend to finish it..." I say but he looks at us in affliction.

"Please! It'll be just the three of us!" He says and draws on his sketchpad which makes two pieces of paper appear in front of us and he hands them to us.

Each of those paper has our drawings on it as an invitation to a party, "Oh my gosh, that's me!" Marinette seems impressed, and as guilty as charged, so am I. "Awesome, dude! It's perfect!" I say genuinely,

"You like it?!" Well, that question was for Marinette.

"Yes, I do!"

As I examine the note, I see Nathaniel's signature exclamation mark which makes me sure that the victim is Nathaniel. I devise a plan.

"But as much as I like it, I'll have to decline it..." I say making his expression flatten. "Don't take it the wrong way! You can take Marinette with you!" I say which makes said-person's eyes widen.

"Um...whatcha doing?"

"And besides it'll be just the two of you and I can already see a romance brewing~! I don't want to be the third wheel! Oh, Marinette, you'll have to tell me everything that happens tomorrow at school," I smoothly lie and look at Marinette, "Marinette, you will go, right?!" I say and give her an 'I-have-a-plan' look which gives her the idea. "O-Of course! I can't just refuse such a beautiful invitation!" She says making me sigh. The Evillustrator smiles elatedly.

"Really?!" He says making her nod, "Really...but only on one condition!" She says, "You can't hurt Chloe anymore! I simply cannot tolerate violence!"

"Anything for you, Marinette!" He says with a hearty smile. He takes a charming bow and strides out of the room, probably to fill out his birthday decor.

"Way to put me in the spot." Marinette groans.

"What? At least we know who the villain is! And besides, you're perfect for bait!" I wiggle my eyebrows and she laughs.

"We'll get the Akuma as soon as possible..." She says making me nod.

"What are you thinking, (Y/N)?" Seven and Tikki flock towards me,

"I'm thinking poor Nathaniel's got a crush on Marinette. And his alter ego, the Evillustrator, is gonna get crushed by Ladybug and Primvère Rosé~!" I say which makes them nod in approval.

"We have only one problem left..." I say which makes Marinette look at me with a sigh, "Cat Noir..." We both say in unison.

I arrive at Chloe's apartment again to see Cat Noir on the couch with a file in hand.

"Hey, Whatcha doing?"

"What took you so long?" He asks which makes me clear my throat, "Like I said, girl talk..." I mutter before dragging him out of the room, "Good news. Chloe's safe now. We have to protect this girl instead..." I say and hand him a photo of Marinette.

"Her name's Marinette...really cute, isn't she~?" I say which makes him smirk, "But not as cute as you~," He says making me roll my eyes, even though a tint of red forms on my cheeks.

"Well, the point is that The Evillustrator is in love with her and promised not to harm Chloe as long as she long as she goes to his birthday party..."

"So what's the plan?"

"While he's distracted, we'll take him down." I say which makes his eyebrows furrow, "What about Ladybug?" He asks making me stutter, "U-Um...she's going on a special mission, much related to our problem here..." I say and to my surprise, he actually believes it.

He then looks at Chloe. "Uh...you're free from danger so see ya!" He says to her and grabs my arm before rushing away.

"Woah...what was that all about?!" I ask as I pull my arm away which makes him turn around, "The girl was making me do her presentation for her...you know you were my last hope~" He pouts making me chuckle, "Okay, okay, let's go!" I say and we head for Marinette's house.

We reach her house just as Sabrina storms out of there. I gasp and my eyebrows furrow.

"Hey, everything all right...?" I ask Marinette as we land before her on the doorstep.

"We didn't even introduce ourselves. Hi, I'm Cat Noir and this is my beautiful rose, Primvère..." He says and kisses the back of her hand which makes me cross my arms, "Seriously...Cat?" I say as Marinette internally laughs.

"Y-Yeah...I know! You guys save the day and stuff! I'm Marinette! So, what are you doing here?"

"Well, that birthday boy date of yours sounds like bad news, so we're here to protect you. Consider yourself under the protective liege of Cat Noir~," Cat says and practically woos her which makes me roll my eyes,

"That puts my mind at ease..." Marinette says making him smirk, "You'll be safe with us~," He says and winks at her which unknowingly makes my heart clench a bit.

"Huh...and I thought you were a lady's man," I say in an annoyed tone which catches him off guard, "Aw~ Prim, you know you're the only rose for me~," He says but I ignore him which makes him pout.

"We can't get to him by ourselves, Marinette, and you're our only hope..." I say to her which makes her smile at me, "Really!? Me? Helping Primvère and Cat Noir?! What about Ladybug...?" She asks with a silent smirk for me, "As much as we want her to join us, she isn't going to be there tonight and you're going to take her place both as our team and a chaperone for Cat here who might dare to try anything on me..." I scornfully mutter at the end which makes Cat look at me in confusion.

"What?! I wouldn't dare do anything to you, m'lady~" He whines which makes me chuckle, "I was just joking anyway..." I mutter and smile before looking at Marinette who is smirking at me, "What?" I ask which snaps her out of her daze, "Nothing..." She mutters sweetly which makes me raise an eyebrow.

"Well, what do I do?" She asks. "Just get that drawing pencil away from him and we'll take care of the rest~," He says which makes me wave at her, "See you tonight~" I wink at her and then take off with him.

"Really. Prim...? A chaperone?" He asks in a pouty tone which makes me giggle, "Whatever..." I say, unintentionally in an envious tone, which makes him perk up.

"Wait..." He pauses, "Are you jealous?" He asks with a smirk which takes me aback, "H-Huh? Jealous? Why would I ever be? More like done with you jokes!" I say and cross my arms before looking away.

"Aw~ Prim's jealous~" He teases which makes me blush, "I am not!"

"Keep denying all you want. But you shouldn't be jealous, Prim...I wouldn't want anyone else other than you..." He says which makes me look at him with my mouth slightly agape. I feel speechless. Then he winks at me and heads for La Seine, leaving me with a tomato-like face. I quickly shake my head and snap out of my daze, "Ugh! Stupid cat!" I yell and follow him.

Sun's already set and Cat and I wait for Marinette to arrive at the La Seine.

"There she is..." I mutter lowly as she arrives on a boat made by the Evillustrator. We follow them from building to building as the boat moves which makes Marinette glance at us.

We manage to hop on board as we hide from their vision behind the ferry.

"What's the plan again...?" Cat mutters which makes me look at him, "We just have to wait for her to get the drawing pencil from him, and then we'll attack..." I whisper as he gets on to the roof, "What are you doing?!" I whisper-yell at him which makes him go further, "Cat, come back here!" I say in a hushed tone and grab him before yanking him back which causes a creak. The Evillustrator seems to have noticed our presence, "Marinette, give me my pencil back..." He says which makes me freeze.

"Shoot!" I curse as I stay still with Cat in an awkward position. I see Marinette yank the pencil away from the Evillustrator, "Now!"

I use my whip to grab Evillustrator's arm. "Not so fast, Evillustrator!" I say and jump down in front of him.

"M-Marinette...? You're working with them..." He utters shocked which makes me look at Marinette who looks away. He returns her guilty look with an offended glare.

"I thought you liked me...but you're just like Chloe! Teasing me, mocking me, leading me on!" He says making me glare at him, "That's not true! She's none of those things!" I say which makes him kick me, leading me to fall on the ground as he retrieves his pencil back. As Cat and I jump high towards him, he draws on his sketchpad and makes a glass box appear which cages us with Marinette. "And I'm taking back my promise! Chloe's gonna get a little lesson that she'll never forget!" He says making growl as he erases a part of the boat for us to sink. He smirks evilly and heads for Chloe's house.

"Cat, your stick! Use it like this and extend it!" I say and position his baton towards the top of the glass, "Great thinking, m'lady!" He says and does as I say, freeing us from the box. I take Marinette into my arms and we land on the bridge.

"Gotta go!" I say before winking at her discreetly and swinging away from the scene with Cat.

We reach Chloe's house to see that Ladybug's already there, I smirk. "Well, well, look what the cat dragged in~," Cat says making her look at him.

"No cat dragged me anywhere, Cat Noir. I flew in all by myself~" She says making me roll my eyes.

"No time for a lover's quarrel~!" I say before looking at the Evillustrator who glares at us, "In the comics, this is what we call a final showdown. The thing is if you knew who Chloe is, you wouldn't even break a sweat to save her skin! She's the real baddie!"

"That's not true! Everybody adores me!" She says making me groan yet look at the villain, "Well, if she is 'the real baddie' then why are you doing this, Nathaniel? This is not who you are!" I say. He proceeds to draw on his sketchpad as a smirk pulls on his face.

"It's the Evillustrator, now! Nathaniel is long gone!" He says and uses his sketchpad to shoot boxing gloves at us. We dodge all of those before I use my whip to protect Chloe from getting hurt. The Evillustrator growls and then shoots a giant saw at us which makes evade it.

"Chloe! Look out!" Ladybug says which makes Cat Noir use his baton to block it from getting to her.

He takes back his baton and splits into two before throwing them to the villain. It hits one of the lights which makes him rush to the other. "The lights..." Ladybug mutters, "Prim! Cat! He can't draw in the dark!" She says making us nod, "Got it!" Cat says before activating his Cataclysm and heading for the light switch but the Evillustrator erases it before which makes Cat break the wall instead.

"Here's a ball and chain for you to play with!" The Evillustrator teases and draws an iron ball and attaches it to Cat's ankle with a chain, "Hey!" Chat whines before the villain erases the floor.

"Sadly, those who get in my way gets erased!" He responds as he does so making Cat Noir fall and hang on to the edge as his miraculous beeps, "No! No!" Cat horrifically looks at his miraculous which makes me look at Ladybug as we back away from the erased floor.

"Ladybug!" I signal which makes her activate her Lucky Charm and a small bouncy ball falls on her hand.

"You find out what to do! I'll distract him!" I say before I activate my Charge Attack. As I chant those words, I seem to teleport behind the Evillustrator. I feel startled for a second but I regain my composure and shoot an arrow at him which makes him fall unto the ground.

Ladybug throws the ball in the right direction and it hits all of the lights in the room ridding the Evillustrator to draw. I use my whip to snatch away the drawing pen from him. I break it in front of him which makes him yelp.

The Akuma flies out and Ladybug de-evilises it. Cat Noir lifts himself up from the edge as the ball and chain disappear.

I smile at Ladybug, "Miraculous Ladybug/Primrose!" We chant which makes everything go back to normal through purple rose petals and ladybugs. "Pound it!" Ladybug, Chat and I fist bump before Cat leaves.

"Where am I?" I hear Nathaniel say which makes me turn to him.

"No more injustice in the world and here's a token from a rose~," I chant which takes him aback. Purple rose petals form around me and then head to Nathaniel. A gift appears making me smile. "Happy Birthday, I guess...?" I say which makes his eyes lighted as he opens it.

He smiles widely as his eyes set on a nicely-tinted sketchbook and a drawing pen.

"T-Thank you so much, Primvère...but how did you know it was my birthday...?"

"When you were your alter ego, you threw a birthday party...Marinette was invited. It was just the two of you and sadly, we had to sabotage it. You should apologize to her because you said some mean things to her..." I say in an agitated way which makes his eyes widen.

"R-Really?! I talked to Marinette?!"

"You said some sweet things to her as well, so there's no need to worry~" I wink at him which makes him blush.

"W-Well, thanks again..." He says sweetly which makes me smile and nod, "Anything for you~," I say and walk away, "Will I see you again?" He asks making me turn to him and chuckle, "Only time will tell~" I say and wink at him before swinging away.

The next day, I happily walk to my class with Marinette as we chat about yesterday, "What was Nathaniel's token?" She asks me which makes me giggle, "It was a sketchbook and a pen as a birthday gift! He asked me how I knew about his birthday and I told him everything, adding in every single detail...so expect an apology visit from him soon~" I say and wink at her as we reach our lockers. She blushes.

We watch as Alya takes an interview with Chloe. We giggle at the scene as Chloe keeps on complaining that the heroes made a mess of her room that night. As Marinette closes her locker room, Adrien appears out of nowhere startling us in the process.

"A-Adrien...it's just you..." I sigh heavily at the sudden attack as he chuckles and leans on the locker adjacent to hers.

"So...Marinette, I heard about your adventure with Cat Noir and Primvère Rosé." He asks Marinette in a puppy-like manner. "What'd you think about Cat Noir? Was he awesome?"

"Yeah...I guess. More importantly, I think Prim and Cat Noir have a chance!" She says and nudges me which makes me elbow her.

"Stop it," I grumble under my breath.

"What about you, (Y/N)? What do you think about him?" The hopeful expression in his eyes makes me shrug.

"Well, I think he's...charming..."

"Really?"

"Yep! But I don't know, maybe he's soft inside..." I say which makes Marinette laugh, "Definitely..."

"Well, see you later..." I say before leaving the two. I sigh deeply and hold my heart.

As I walk across the courtyard, I spot Nathaniel drawing in the new sketchbook I gave him yesterday with the same pen. "Woah, nice sketchbook, Nathaniel..." I sit next to him before smiling. He blushes, "T-Thanks. Primvère gave it to me this yesterday..."

"Wow...that's so cool~" I mutter before looking at his drawing, "What are you drawing...?" I ask before seeing a drawing of Primvère Rosé as a cover.

I blush, "I'm making a comic about her..." He smiles before looking at me, "She's so amazing, you know..." He mutters before he perks up.

"W-Wait! Did you see Marinette anywhere?!"

"She's probably at the lockers, talking to Adrien..." I mutter which makes him smile.

"Thanks, (Y/N)! You're the best!" He says and rushes to the lockers room which makes me smile and sit there with a hearty smile.
